How to use the body effectively to produce high quality musical performances.
How to improve breathing, tone, coordination, strength and technical proficiency.
How to use the 3-dimensionality of the pelvic, thoracic, and vocal diaphragms for fuller expression and volume.
How to enrich the expressiveness of the music and sound by engaging organ mobility and support through improvisation.
How to engage the dynamics of perceptual processing.

Mrs. BonnieBanbridge Cohen, I bow my head in deep appreciation for your detailed understanding of Diaphragmatic breathing with proper movements of Thoracic & Pelvic diaphragms. I struggled for many years to understand so called Abdominal Breathing until this video. I am sure this will solve the problem of Intra Abdominal pressure/breathlessness I was facing while doing deep breathing. May You live long for many more years! God bless you & your family!

Yes, yes and yes. Being a singer and a teacher that is what I'm teaching, using other words :) It is hardly understood by sb who doesn't feel their body. You seem to have the key to get that meaning through to the body, I'm so grateful I've found you :) best regards from Poland 🇵🇱 :)

The correlation between pelvic and thoracic diaphragm seems to be different to me, at least in singing, but overall this material is really useful and educating!

inhale - the diapragm & the pelvic floor are coming DOWN and opposite in exhale

great videos. however the hand model is wrong. the inhalation lowers the pelvic diaphragm. and exhalation lifts it up. so both diaphragms move in the same direction during respiration but with opposite contractions. when thoracic d shortens, pelvic d lengthens on inhalation.

I have watched several videos of her but I never seem to understand what she is trying to explain.

In this case the gist of it is that when you exhale, you can also engage the opposite action to control and lengthen the exhalation. This means simultaneously doing whatever you do to inhale.

Basically this women understands sometjing that the western world refers to as Postural restoration founded by Ron Hruskra. Very impressive that she probably has figuered out her own way to understanding what pri is all about but almost lines up with exactley how pri would teach it and practice it. The power of the human mind body and soul is tremendous!

It’s called concentric and eccentric contraction. There are words for it and even gym bros know this. Lots of anatomy symbology but little knowledge of functional anatomy.
