Your video about Melbourne was very informative for a tourist. Well done ! I live in Melbourne and I love it. My parents emigrated to Australia in the 1950 from the UK and all of their children are so glad that they did, are thankful and feel blessed. Australia is a wonderful country to live in.

Thank you so much for your video. Tourism and migration are so important to Australia as most Australians work in service related industries. Australians are also great travellers and work hard to improve the experience of being in Australia. Please come back and also keep promoting all the great places that you travel.

Glad you enjoyed Melbourne. Best city in Australia (and I've lived in a few!) Stalactites is a part of the old Greek quarter in the CBD. It's an institution, but definitely not flash 😅 Plenty of other much nicer places to try. Next time, try the Yarra Valley wineries instead of Puffing Billy, and venture outside the CBD to an inner suburban shopping & cafè strip like Brunswick Street 😊 The Twelve Apostles are a fair drive from Melbourne; best to stay overnight at a seaside town like Torquay or Apollo Bay.

I watched this because I’m thinking about returning to Australia after living in California for a few decades. Not sure where I want to be - Sydney where I grew up or Melbourne where it’s less glitzy and a more relaxed pace of life.
Liked your honest opinion about things.
Amazed you did so much despite jet lag.

@@amelia.exploresGod. There's so many. I have 30-40 within 20 min walk from my house.
Some of the ones around the city I go to are:
Esplanade Hotel, Tote Hotel, Stay Gold, Retreat Hotel, Northcote Social Club, Croxton Bandroom, HiFi Bar, Cherry Bar, Gem Hotel, Bendigo Bar, Lulie St Tavern, Last Chance Rock n Roll Bar, Memo Music Hall, Old Bar, Bar Open, Evelyn Hotel, St Kilda Bowling Club, but that's just the tip. Obviously there are bigger places that international bands will play at too like KISS (or Taylor Swift) at the MCG/Melbourne Cricket Ground that seats 100,000
or like QATSA @the outdoor SydneyMyerMusicBowl, but little venues like The Gem Hotel (free) will have surprise acts like J.Mascous (Dinosaur Junior) solo...
Plus there's heaps of micro breweries that have bands like Bonneyrig Brew House.
So, so many. We're spoilt for choice.
Maybe look at a 12 month work visa for next time so you can see the less touristy stuff..
      🎶🎸🍻 keep on rockin 🎧🎵🔅
