Is it worth going to Exmouth? | Exploring Western Australia and what to do and see in Exmouth
After visiting the east cost of Australia last year i wanted to see what all the fuss was about when it came to Exmouth. This tiny little town was established in the 1960's and is perfectly placed for those who want to visit the Ningaloo reef. I never thought i would prefer the west coast of Australia but the nature, animals, and lack of people made it the perfect place for me to visit. If you're thinking of travelling Australia please don't miss this place. I have a feeling it will become more popular in the coming years but i am glad i got to experience it when i did.
The videos i make take hours to edit so if you did enjoy this please subscribe :)

This video is my own opinion on the hotel. I'll always be honest with you guys. Hamilton island is lovely but sadly it wasn't for me. These hotels make huge profits, if you're charging people over and above for something, then you need to provide a level of service that's adequate to that Expecting to get what you pay for is not 'whinging', which I assume is what you meant by your misspelling. Bluebird, would like to know who owns that & their association with Caribou (properties) people, because MELS (a coming together point for locals & visitors alike for 40 + years) It seems mels.had the rug pulled from under them (the heritage building that is now bluebirds) for a posh place that would pay higher rent, wld bills (where mels was put) was a skanky joint owned by caribou properties as I recall. Mels in that old building WAS much of what made banff, we used to go there at any given time of day, queues on the street at 7 am for breakfast, a lunch special having just landed at calgary a few hours before, after a transatlantic flight& to just unwind in a friendly place was to walk to mels for a blue cheese burger & some coffee before the jet-lag wiped us out, ..as wild bills had stairs to climb I wonder what happened to all those local OAP's like the 80+ year old Canadian royal air force WW2 pilot who used to walk fdom the traders on the other side of the bridge (by the first nations museum) for his lunch, mels was accessible to all by its walk in location, wheelchairs, sports injured, broken legs, baby buggies, I anticipate caribou's forcing mels out for bluebirds has had a massive knock on effect in the community. (+ notably you didn't visit it on this video either, ..case in point)

It's an institution, but definitely not flash 😅 Plenty of other much nicer places to try. Next time, try the Yarra Valley wineries instead of Puffing Billy, and venture outside the CBD to an inner suburban shopping & cafè strip like Brunswick Street 😊 The Twelve Apostles are a fair drive from Melbourne; best to stay overnight at a seaside town like Torquay or Apollo Bay.

@@amelia.exploresGod. There's so many. I have 30-40 within 20 min walk from my house. Some of the ones around the city I go to are: Esplanade Hotel, Tote Hotel, Stay Gold, Retreat Hotel, Northcote Social Club, Croxton Bandroom, HiFi Bar, Cherry Bar, Gem Hotel, Bendigo Bar, Lulie St Tavern, Last Chance Rock n Roll Bar, Memo Music Hall, Old Bar, Bar Open, Evelyn Hotel, St Kilda Bowling Club, but that's just the tip. Obviously there are bigger places that international bands will play at too like KISS (or Taylor Swift) at the MCG/Melbourne Cricket Ground that seats 100,000 or like QATSA @the outdoor SydneyMyerMusicBowl, but little venues like The Gem Hotel (free) will have surprise acts like J.Mascous (Dinosaur Junior) solo... Plus there's heaps of micro breweries that have bands like Bonneyrig Brew House. So, so many. We're spoilt for choice. Maybe look at a 12 month work visa for next time so you can see the less touristy stuff.. 🎶🎸🍻 keep on rockin 🎧🎵🔅

Thanks, this is really useful feedback. I had some audio trouble with this one, will try address it for future videos!

Melbourne is awesome but finding all the best food and best places to visit takes time depending what you're into. Exploring Melbourne is a major part of the fun though. Exploring Victoria is fun too.

Actually as a former Tasmanian and now resident of Sydney, I am very concerned about the lack of intellectual intelligence in Melbourne! Followers achieve nothing great, real, imaginative or creative! 🤔

@@junebreheny7658 this person is a serial Melbourne basher, she seems to have a real chip on her shoulder when it comes to Australia's most livable city. I think the 'intellectual intelligence' of Tasmania may have risen slightly and Sydney's took a dive when she moved from one to the other.

Your video about Melbourne was very informative for a tourist. Well done ! I live in Melbourne and I love it. My parents emigrated to Australia in the 1950 from the UK and all of their children are so glad that they did, are thankful and feel blessed. Australia is a wonderful country to live in.

Thank you so much! I'm heading back there soon, this time to the west coast so hopefully I'll get some more great footage.
