Being from Sydney , I feel melbourne offers all sorts of fun in terms of cbd , food and restaurants and transportation.
Sydney is kind of feels like sleepy tbh 😂
I absolutely adored Melbourne! 💖 I'm feeling so nostalgic about my trip there. I'm eagerly looking forward to planning another adventure in Melbourne soon! 🌇
We feel the same! This trip was only 48 hours but it’s always been one of our fav cities even before we started with TH-cam
Reckon we know an airline that might be able to get you to your adventure 😉
glad you loved it here!
Very great energy, I love guys! Awesome video 👍
Melbourne is my favourite place to go while in Aussie. Really wanna head back there soon, have not been in a few years. 100% agree with the best coffee and food thing. So good!
Sounds like it's time to make a comeback!

I absolutely love our Melbourne city and surrounding areas. Love that this time you visited my all time favourite market. South Melbourne market. Awesome review of Melbourne. Loved it!
I’m obsessed with the south Melbourne market
So you should, such an amazing city - really fits the kind of vibe we love! South Melb markets are legit huh, can't believe we hadn't visited before
Love it
Thanks!
Another epic and informative video guys well done.👍
great video with the normal tourist attractions but with an added alternative thing to see and do.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dope vid....gotta go sometime this year to expierence that whole cafe-coffee vibe
Taking notes from this vid because it'll be my first time going there next month ~

Melbourne born and based, and a serious coffee lover - So happy to see you excited to explore Melbourne! Love your channel! 😊
Yay! Thank you!
Hey Dane & Stacey, Gretchen & Paul here (you responded to my email last week). Hubby is a dual Aus-US citizen. We are jumping on Qantas is approx. 48 hours to fly from San Fran to SYD. We'll spend a week in Tassie & road trip the Sapphire Coast and VIC Surf Coast. Re-watching your vids to find Lune and the great spots you highlighted in Tassie. Thanks for the info!!!!
Love your videos! Travel safely, continue having fun & sharing great content with us!
Hey team! You must be there already - we hope you've been enjoying and our recommendations have been helpful !
Wonderful city
That was absolutely epic guys 🙏😍🥐🍔🥟🥢🍦❤️😁
LOVE the time it must have taken for you to get all those amazing emojis lined up 🤣
Amazing 😍 Thank you for Sharing
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely Love Melbourne 💛
Our fav too!
Really love your videos, but I always end up hungry!
You mention Collingwood but do you go like a block over into Fitzroy and walk down Brunswick street or three blocks from there in to Carlton. 😊
Carlton the Italian precinct. Richmond the Vietnamese precinct and a small area in the city the Greek precinct.
If your back in Melbourne you could head to the Dandenongs, The Yarra Valley or The Mornington Peninsula. New to your channel look forward see more of your channel, enjoy both your dynamics the filming, editing and pace of your videos :-)
Safe travels 😊
Happy to say I’m lucky enough to live just a 10 minute walk away from the South Melbourne markets and it is fabulous. One of my favourite things about Melbourne is how walkable the CBD unlike Sydney which I’ve also lived in for a few years Melbourne’s CBD is contained within a rectangular block.
Amazing! You're lucky / smart to live so close!
I love Melbourne markets.
They're amazing aren't they?!
I rarely ever comment - i have seen so many melbourne trip videos and this is by far my favorite - I would love to visit the food places you mentioned :)
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for coming out of the shadows to say hi
Amazing👍
Appreciate it!
Hello Dane and Stace, Great tips as always, We have relatives that live in Melbourne. We always take the tours of the back alleys of the city. Love you guys'❤❤❤ Jim, Harriet and Yuki
Richmond, Va.
Great tip! Gotta love those kind of tours that get off the beaten path and share all the hidden secrets and history of a city
Just visited Melbourne I loved it. Next time I will drive myself to reach may more places in Victoria
We did that on a recent trip as well, having wheels and seeing more is such a good way to appreciate the city
As a local I endorse this video They are informative and good start for new travellers to our city Thank you ❤
We appreciate that, thank you !
❤️❤️❤️
Great vid, going to Melbourne for the first time with my old man and I can see it was a great choice
Stoked! You're gonna love it, its such an awesome place to explore
You have to try the famous South Melbourne Dimsims next time!!!!
Hi guys love you channel, I've been dying to ask if you both can give us a hair routine video, because both of your hair styles are amazing!!! Thanks.

Take me an hour to drive there I went there yesterday to see jack and Trent’s last game
I didn’t know Melbourne was such a foodie and coffee place.
It really is! The coffee in particular is game changing
I’m normally not a fan of couple channels but ya’ll feel so genuine, and I always appreciate high quality content.
My partner and I a planning a trip to Melbourne, this video really helped for the city portion of our trip.
Definitely subscribing.
We appreciate that! You're going to love Melbourne. We can highly recommend the Great Ocean Road as well for a good road trip if you're heading out of town, we have a series on that too. Travel well!
Beautiful vlog and great recommendations, we''re actually going over for Christmas in a few weeks! nice to see where we can visit! thanks~
Hope you had an amazing trip!
bikkies with beer on a boat... only you guys 😉
Throw in a pizza and it's the perfect combo 😂
Tell us a better combo... 😉
oh my god a vegan Latin restaurant, you had me at hello. coming to you from vegan friendly Portland Oregon, having lived 14 years in San Francisco and gotten engaged in Mexico City... I'm seeing a lot to like about Melbourne.
To my American ears, it's funny hearing a Kiwi imitate an Aussie accent. It's like someone doing an imitation of his own accent. 😂
Lol! They're definitely different from each other. Kiwis pronounce their vowels differently from us Aussies. They lengthen the vowels that we shorten, and vice versa. This makes for a lot of hilarity over words like six and sex 😂
@@FionaEm Yeah I can detect a slight difference but the difference between an American Southern accent vs a New York accent vs a Midwest accent is massive. Way more than the difference between a Kiwi and Aussie accent. That's why I found his imitation to be funny, because he was barely changing anything from his normal accent.
Haha thats funny to hear. Honestly that was a pretty crappy attempt, so that probably didn't help 🤣
Us kiwis are lazy with our vowels, we don't enunciate them properly. Aussies, they over enunciate them. For me, both are hard to listen to, but not as hard as the South African/Zimbabwean/Namibian accent.
@@voongnz I sometimes get the South African accent mixed up with Aussie if they say only a few words. Also, I've had Aussie friends who lived in NYC and I would actually stop noticing their accent at all after a few weeks. Even though the accent, slang and sayings are very different, the overall cultural wavelength is similar. Much more similar than America and Germany, Italy or France for example - even if they spoke English the mentality is much different and they always felt like foreigners to me. But less so Australians or Canadians as their cultures are fairly similar to America with the new world vibe.
Hey that's my hometown! We in Canggu Bali now and went to some of the same places as you guys in Bali
Nice one! Hope you've been loving Bali
My first ever xiaolongbao is going to be in Melbourne😋
YESS! The ones at Hu Tong were really tasty
Missed Melbourne so much!
Us too!
Funny story...we went to Melbourne a couple of years ago and day 1 we found a cafe that stock Lune crossiants. We had heard about them and we're raving as we ate them. We made an absolute mess with them at our outdoor table and the lady sitting next to us had a dog who was eating the crumbs that we dropped. We made small talk and she mentioned that her dogs loves them because she works at Lune. Later on we google and realise it was actually Kate Reid at the table next to us - the lady who started Lune.
you showcased my amazing city in such a spectacular light! - next time youre here- my friend runs a hidden vietnamese/french creparie - its called "Aix" in centre place, right by Flinders st station :))
We appreciate that! Nice one, will check it out next time
Melbourne market is definitely a gem in the city. So much great food and unique finds. Glad you enjoyed the review!
Thanks! Totally agree - such a great spot
Heyyyy you're back in our world!
Coffee be calling us 🤣
@@DanegerAndStacey 😂 once you've had the best .... Lol
@@theadventuresofzoomandbettie So true!
Hard not to Love Melbourne 🖤
Yeah it's special!
I think I remember reading somewhere that Melbourne was ranked as one of the Top 10 best places to live in the whole world. After seeing this (an your previous series), I'm not a bit surprised. When I start travelling someday, I'll be sure to book a stop there on my way to New Zealand😉
Has been #1 actually for many years
It's the place to be 😉
Seems to be always in that top 10 - we can totally understand why!
Yooo I’m in this video! 😮lmao 😎 @7:05
That you putting up the new art? No shhhheit!
@@DanegerAndStacey it is! I'm on the left and Mattybro Art who did the Shaq mural is on the right. Great video BTW :D
@@rayrichbrown love to hear it mate, and we love your work too - both of you!
You look very much like the MMA fighter TJ Dillashaw. Btw, we'll be visiting Melbourne in a week so thanks for the info. Great contents & coverage.
I wish I got paid the same as him haha. Sorry for the delay, we've been exploring South America but hope you had a great time in Melbourne
After New Zealand, my wife & I spent 6 weeks in Australia (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth) in that order before flying to Singapore, VN & Taiwan. Of those 5 cities in Australia, we loved & enjoyed Sydney the most. It's the largest city & have so much to offer. We also loved Brisbane & Melbourne. Take care & have a great day.
Seeing Melbourne has lots of live sports should really check out a AFL game. Nothing like a packed MCG
So true! Add that with the F1 and it's a banger!
Good afternoon from Papua New Guinea. I enjoyed watching your contents
Oh hey!
@@DanegerAndStacey
Melburn, Australia. A rural street road on a random land with just Eeyore sitting on it. Just Eeyore
Now I want to come eat all the food
Wish we could send ya some!
@@DanegerAndStacey that would be amazing!!
Hi Daneger and Stacey! Very nice video and lovely channel! I am your fan:)
Thanks so much! 😊
Thanks for the very informative video. Please can you inform me how can you catch a hop on hop off Bus in Melbourne?
They're free! Just google the station and you can jump on for free - you only need to swipe if you're going outiside of the free zone which is pretty well displayed
well done
Thanks!
Amazing Vlogs
Appreciate that, thanks!
Where have I seen the Hamish guy on the boat. He looks very familiar.
Haha that's TravelPhotoKiwi - he was on the Bachelor
WoooT! you're back in my hometown XD oh! if you wanted to try some really nice sushi, can absolutely recommend sushi uokin in hawthorne (and there's a really nice ice cream place - Kori - just across the road from it) , or if you're up to travelling out into the 'burbs, shira nui in glen waverley (altho if you come out to shira nui, I'd book ahead, the place is really very small, and although sushi uokin is takeaway friendly, shira nui is not so much)
Thanks for the tips! It's so hard to know if we should go back to old favs or try new spots, but next time there's a lot of new places for us to check out
i literally did not know you can drive those boats without a license 🤣 and i live here
Yup! Go check em out with some friends and a few drinks
Jiaooo Loong baooow
🥢🥟
I love Melbourne! Adelaide has my heart though as it’s my home city. We have greet wineries, distilleries and food! As well as tons of excellent festivals
We reckon that should be next on their list!
Oh ok, guess we can make that happen 😉
How do you come to Melbourne, stay in Sth Yarra but NOT go to Revs at 4am?
I think this is the best travel channel I have ever seen , you guys are genuine, Thank u guys for your work , I love your adventures . Greetings from México
Our pleasure! Thanks for the kind words
Oh good you took my advice to visit Sth Melb market instead! Hehe. It's nicer than Queen Vic
Yup! It was AWESOME - great tip thanks
Come to Tokyooooo!!!!
We will!
Someday soon I'd like to relocate from South Africa to Melbourne to find work and permanent residency, thats my goal from 2024💯
You can do it! AND you'll love it there
Agathe in south Melbourne market is definitely a lot better than lune in my opinion.
Ohhh interesting to note! Next time we'll compare
You guys need to stop travelling to so many cool spots…..those of us with traditional jobs just can’t keep up!! Just kidding of course….keep up the amazing work and stellar videos! 🇨🇦
Visit Brisbane, the Goldcoast and the Sunshine Coast!
Aus has so much to offer!
@@DanegerAndStacey indeed!
you should try Victoria Bitter not any beer else
VB for the win eh?
I’m literally going to Melbourne in like 3 days lol. Sooo excited!! What are your favourite places away from the CBD?
Ps. Greetings from Taiwan 🇹🇼 glad you liked the xiaolongbao! Hope you guys come back soon x
enjoy our city!
@@jj-if6it thank youuu can’t wait to explore it!
Hope you had/having an AMAZING time
Wow back again already? haha
We're like walking a coffee magnet
Hate to be pedantic. But fun fact. Yarra is an aboriginal word for river. So it’s name is simply The Yarra. As in The River. To call it the Yarra River, you would essentially be calling it the River River.
Well would you look at that! Thanks for the intel
Better then Sydneys coffee is it?????
From our experience, 100% yes.
Why have I never been to any of these places being born here 🤷♀️ I really need to explore my own city
Sally you got to go check some of these out!
really😂where do locals go for fun mostly
@@pavelvltchek1612 local shopping centre and shopping strips
Kiwis dont make good beer though
We gonna have a problem if you say that again 🤣
I think the whole Lune thing is so overrated. I live not far from the latest addition in Armadale and went there for the first time last week because I refuse to queue and this location isn't as busy as others. Sure they were nice pastries but I have plenty that are as good if not better. Don't bother queuing people!
CONTROVERSIAL.... jk 🤣 We personally love them, but we've also had some other recs of places that locals think are better. Guess we'll have to compare next time
@@DanegerAndStacey I know, controversial! They are no doubt a tasty treat but I wouldn't queue around the block for them. I feel like the viral food trend thing has ruined things for us old folk (I"m a gen-x) haha.
Eating eating eating?? Need some comfort?
There are too many homeless people and beggars on the streets, and garbage is often seen on the sidewalks, which ruins the beautiful urban scene.
That doesnt sound like any part of Melb we've seen! At least nothing more than any other city in the world
This is obviously an advertising piece probably paid for by the City of Melbourne......they exaggerate. I know I live there. The real restaurant scene is in Carlton not Melbourne and forget South Bank nothing there.
We mentioned at the start, we were invited by Jetstar to show Melbourne but we also used footage from our other trips, talked about our own travels from years ago as well. We're not lying, Melbourne is special. You may be burnt out from living there, but that's a different mindset to how a traveller see's your city.
'' Best croissants of the entire world??? '' 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 my dear you clearly have never been to Europe 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My dear we have, pleeeenty of times (and for months on end, including France/Paris) and it legit is THE best we've tried 😂😂😂
@@DanegerAndStacey my dear, you're just showing the entire world that you haven't got a freaking clue of what you're talking about 😂😂😂 and since I've been a chef for the past 25 years in both Europe and Australia I can definitely say that those aren't the best croissant on world. Now go to sleep 😂😂
