    Maybe you could also do a comparison of each taking the result pulp from each and press it in the hand press juicer..You could compare how much juice each makes from the resulting pulp being pressed..

    Take foil and ball it up. Use that to scrub the carrot when your cleaning it. It will clean the surface of the carrot so that you wont have to peel it. Try it. It does a really nice job.

      @euJUICERScom  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no direct equivalent. But functionally, the Omega 8006 is similar.

    I would love one for pineaple, its quite tricky to make pineaple juice with juicers. Which one is best and gives the best results? Love your videos.

      You're right. Pineapple contains many long fibers which can easily clog the juicing screen and pulp outlet of a juicer. We find that a single auger horizontal generally is the easiest to use. Centrifugals are fast too, but the juice tends to be foamy and watery. You can see a comprehensive test in this video at the 19:00 mark: th-cam.com/video/7GVvrCLNFwU/w-d-xo.html

      @@euJUICERScom Dan you said in that other video for which there is a link above that vertical is better for pineapple

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@atifmanzoor63 A vertical will get higher yield, but the pineapple needs to be cut into small pieces to prevent clogging of the pulp outlet. A horizontal is easier because it doesn't need all the cutting, but at a cost of slightly less juice.

      Hurom h300 or Nama J2 are good for pineapple

    I used to have a centrifugal force juicer but then I upgraded to masticating juicer. Masticating juicer is great for apple and orange juice BUT VERY BAD for making carrot juice. I intend to get a centrifugal juicer just for my carrot juice. So there's no best juicer.

      It would help, especially if the tops and bottoms are cut off.

    What other fruits can be juiced?

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any firm fruit can be juiced. Horizontal juicers like these are excellent for firm fruit, leafy greens, root vegetables, citurs, melon, and pineapple. Softer fruits like berries are better suited for vertical juicers.

    How much nutrition is lost when juicing?

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the juice is slow pressed, and consumed faily quickly, most of the nutrition remains intact. Some studies have shown that the nutrients from the juice are more easily absorbed than if it were eaten, if the juice is drank on an empty stomach. On the other hand, you lose the valuable fiber when juicing, and the sugars are concentrated.

    what about the sugar?

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Carrot juice has a fair amount of sugar - 9 grams of sugar per cup - and the consumption should be limited to one cup per day. Or better yet, juice it with spinach or kale.

      Carrots have simple glucose sugars and they go straight into your cells unless you have animal fats or bad fats blocking the way. Best to not ever eat any animal products. Glucose once into your cells gives you energy
