Drone narrowly misses skier Marcel Hirscher during slalom race - BBC News

Four-time defending overall World Cup champion Marcel Hirscher narrowly avoided being hit by a drone during an Alpine slalom race in Italy on Tuesday. The Austrian was on his second run when a drone carrying a camera crashed onto the slope centimetres behind him.
"This is horrible," said Hirscher, 26. "This can never happen again. This can be a serious injury."

Marcel Hirscher is not a downhill champion. He is four-times overall champion and won slaloms, giant slaloms and even a Super-G - but no downhills.

Yea I caught that too, glad someone else did as well. Also, did you expect the news to get something correct? One article says "downhill skier narrowly avoids a falling drone..." but that sounds like he dodged the thing. He just happened to not get hit and was very lucky, he didn't dodge/avoid shit. It simply missed him luckily. That thing could have done some serious damage.
