It Only Takes One Garage Sale to Find Something Amazing

  • Come with me to garage sales and rummage sales to see what I'm buying to resell on eBay, Amazon FBA, and Mercari. Today I find vintage toys and a very valuable and rare vintage hat I found when I made a wrong turn! It only takes one yard sale to really cash in. I got to a garage sale early and found all kinds of valuable items I can flip for profit. Check out some of these eBay BOLOs so you can learn what sells online.
    I also stopped in a Goodwill to do some thrifting and found some treasures that can be sold on eBay.

    //WHO AM I?
    I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
    I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.
    Subscribe and join me on my adventures to see what I can find to make some dollars.

    //FAQ
    Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
    A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
    Q: Can you make a living selling online?
    A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
    Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
    A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
    Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
    A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

    Thanks to some of your great finds and advice I just sold a 1986 coca-cola puzzle on amazon for $101. I would have never thought to list that or the vhs rewinders I’ve sold on Amazon if it had not been for your channel. Thanks for helping out a fellow reseller.

    Its always fun when you go to purchase something and the person smiles and says someone just bought a bunch of those! Yea I didn't need to know that. Awesome finds you had a very good week.

    I love the word happenstance. Like you, I've run across some amazing things when not expected. I found an unadvertised sale about a month ago where the lady was selling over 200 puzzles, many of them sought after with the value > $50. I was able to cherry pick them for crazy good profits.

    Those flower shoes are called Sloggers…..good gardening/yard work clog. Easy to clean. I pick them up if I can buy less than $5….sell for $20-$30 depending on quality and design. Nice finds Wick.

    When I saw that C-3PO I freaked it’s my holy grail to find the C-3PO light switch cover. I saw it in Poltergeist movie in the kids room and I wound die if I found one lol.

    Hi Wick, Good finds at the yards sales and at Goodwill. Looks like you'll make some great profit. Not to criticize you, but I have noticed that you sound depressed. Hope nothing is wrong with you. Even if you are depressed try not to sound this way and I bet you will pick up more subscribers. Good luck man!

    Always love getting the Halloween stuff. I was at a sale yesterday and asked if they had any Halloween for sale. They laughed and said “No, our daughter was born on Halloween so we go big on Halloween here”. I myself have a severed head display in the yard for Halloween. 🎃

    That was the story of this weekend. We normally have 80 to 100 sales a day. Only got 22 and 20 were the 2nd or 3rd day. Didn't find much at all. Today I went to one where the guy had just totes of vintage toys. I didn't look anything up just started piling. Got 2 paintball guns that should pay for most of it so it was okay to drop 75 on a chance somethings good

    Had an awesome win last week. Found a complete set of Monkey King, a rare OOP Chinese manga. 20 books, 19 were new and sealed. Sold in 24 hours (probably underpriced). Your channel and wins like this keeps me motivated.

    Wow a JVC dvd/vcr recorder in used condition still worth that much? Awesome find! I bought one, different brand, but it was open box new. Everything still in plastic and it sold for over 600. Wow, wonder what that JVC would be brand new.
