  • Come to the garage sales with me while I search for things to resell on eBay and Amazon FBA. Today I opened a binder to find an incredibly rare item at a rummage sale. I also come across many other incredible garage sale finds that sell great on eBay.
    As an eBay reseller I'm always looking for new things to buy and sell. I have hundreds of items logged into my brain to look for, but it can become overwhelming when trying to process everything at yard sales. The more bolos packed in your brain, the more chances you have of finding something worth selling.

    //WHO AM I?
    I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
    I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

    //FAQ
    Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
    A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
    Q: Can you make a living selling online?
    A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
    Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
    A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
    Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
    A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

    The price has really come down on eBay for the Stir Crazy popcorn popper. I'm seeing the newer one go for a little more than the vintage one now. I found both at a church sale in the same day. Paid $5.99 for each. They both work and are in mint cond. I plan to list them one at a time. I hope they sell well, otherwise, my profit is going to be pretty thin. I'm new to the game and your channel has been a huge help to me. Thank you and good luck brother.

    I picked up a watch at an estate sale a few weeks ago for 3.00 it was laying with some cheap watches. It looked nice so I just grabbed it. Got home found 14K markings on the watch & the band sold it quickly for 160.00.

    Man. Back in the day 10-12 years ago video game hunting was awesome. Now it is sooooo competitive. Everyone has figured out to buy them all. I was just at a sale in the middle of nowhere. When I asked about games. Guy said at least 5 people already asked.
    Definitely cannot depend on finding them much anymore. Got o have a knowledge in a wide variety of areas.
    I have noticed hats have become competitive too.
    I never thought the day would come I'd be selling used Crocs and shoes.

    I got the "oh someone just bought em all" all weekend. Then one of the last sales we went to I found some playstation (junk) games mixed in with all sorts of dvds. I was finding random ones with "playstation club" stamped on the inside and they looked super fake. Idk what they are but I took em anyway. Then my buddies like hey go ask him about the consoles. I walk up and he's got 2 nes and a genesis (no cords on any unfortunately). Then he had a stack of games. I asked what he wanted and he said 100, tossed him 70 and he took it. Then I start digging around more and find random games in buckets with tools etc. Nothing amazing but did have a mini heart attack. There was an NES mega man 6 box in there. No game but still a great find IMO.

    You sais, about the cassette player "if it works." Do you take a lot of chances at yard sales? Do things work properly most of the time?

    • @FlippingJunk
      @FlippingJunk  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, I take chances. I'd say VCR's and similar only work 50-60% of the time, so I only buy if they are priced good. I did pay $10 and $15 for some combo units this morning at a sale. If they don't work, I'm just out of the money. In the long run, you tend to make money and some you can sell for parts to get some or all of your money back.
