    This Doctor is a genius. Back in September I went to a periodontal appointment and they wanted to extract my back molar because of deep pockets. I declined the surgery and instead started doing Dr. Ellie’s complete mouth care. I went for my routine dental cleaning today and my hygienist said that my pocket has reduced from 7.5 to 3.5 in size. I couldn’t believe it and she commended me on my oral health. All thanks to Dr.Ellie for her free dental system. Ever grateful!!!

    I started my research because i was experiencing extreme tooth sensitivity because of a recession on two of my teeth because of excessively hard brushing on my part.
    I spent about a hr researching your videos with the procedures and carefully matching up the products as required in your system.
    I only did one day and when I tell you my mouth is the freshest it has EVER been.
    And with only one day in my teeth sensitivity to cold was almost none existent.
    And zero morning breath!
    I want to tell everyone I know about this.
    This system with the two tooth brushes and the wntire system including the xylitol I know after prolonged use will be one of the best things for my health.
    Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge with us freely.

    Well, Dr. Ellie, its been five days since all the products arrived from your Amazon channel. I've been using them every day as you recommend and my mouth feels clean and fresh. Better yet, my gums do not bleed when i brush, as they have done for a long, long time.
    Those toothbrushes you offer are the best i've ever used - never felt anything like them. Your plan, your method, seems to be working almost immediately, so thank you very much for putting it all together. I am subscribed here on YT and am also following your page on Amazon. Thank you!

    The only thing I would suggest is to put a key ingredient panel up on the screen that specifies what is in the given formulation that delivers the anticipated result, along with any additives that could hinder. That would make your guidance more generalizable across markets. This is helpful for those of us that can source these products.

    • @sunshineflyer
      @sunshineflyer หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      You could also add that as a page in your booklet, or list the info with each product. Also give the specific product version name in the booklet - usually only the brand is listed. This would make it easier to look for comparable products across markets,

    • @Alien2799

      I second that. Also, I wonder if other ingredients are important as well. Dr Ellie did not say anything about that so I assume that as long as the Act and the toothpaste have the right amount of the correct fluoride then we are OK.

      @SunrayStar หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Great idea! Here in Toronto, Canada, I've found the Crest toothpaste, Cool Mint Listerine, ACT pre-brush rinse (can this be substituted for Closys, which I haven't found?). It appears that I need to buy the Zellie's Mints online.

    • @SunrayStar
      @SunrayStar หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@74Voyeur No, ACT cannot be substituted for Closys. ACT is only to be used as Step 4 and would not serve the same purpose as Closys in Step 1. By the way, ACT is not a pre-brushing rinse in this system; it is the last step, as the residue should be left on the teeth for a minimum of 30 minutes to 1 hour (or overnight if using at night) to strengthen them. However, an extra step that Dr. Ellie recommends is to wait 30 minutes after using ACT and then take another dose of xylitol, as each of these help each other to work even better.
      It is always a great idea, she said, to take xylitol right before going to sleep at night. One of the purposes of Closys is to reset the pH of the mouth to do away with acidity before brushing, as brushing acid-softened teeth damages tooth enamel. Closys also has a beneficial oxygen effect on the gums between the teeth.

    Thank you ellie, ive found your system in May when my teeth were likely on their last limb, as i havnt been to a dentist for 7 years, since i was 15. I drank and smoked heavily, lots of soda when i stopped drinking, most of my friends have horrible teeth, and all ive done to take care of them is brush before work most of the time.
    Ive followed the system somewhat loosely, but even then my mouth feels healthier as far as maintaining it goes, I even still vape and smoke occasionally. Once i have the means i can focus on using the xylitol gum after each meal, and keeping stocked on the proper mouthwashes to let my mouth heal.
    I feel like i have the chance to restore my teeth to brand new thanks to you☺️

    Last year I visited my dentist because I was getting pain in one of my molars. An X-ray could not show any decay (this tooth had a crown on it) my dentist suggested that I also had gum disease and referred me to a private dentist who performed scale and root planing which cost me hundreds of pounds, and this was the first visit. The final cost was going to be in the thousands of pounds. I did not go back and went to see another NHS dentist. It was suggested that I would need either tooth extraction or root canal, I opted for extraction because I had root canal before and it was not pleasant.
    Whilst waiting for the extraction (in total 8 months because of the waiting list) I came across Dr Ellies' Complete Mouth Care System. This was March 24. I started using it and within a few weeks I could not feel any pain. It would return when I ate but following the routine the pain got less and less, my teeth also felt very smooth and my mouth was fresh.
    I finally had the extraction in May and continued using the routine. I went for a check-up on 18th December 24 and I left the dental practice floating on air. I was told that there was nothing to be done - not even cleaning, I only had slight plaque on the inside bottom front teeth. I am 73 years old and have had 4 extractions over the years. I have never left a dentist without having something done. I was so delighted I had to write a comment. I immediately informed my son who was sceptical of the treatment but now wants to know more.
    When I first started the routine, I ordered the Closys and Act from America and they were very costly but when ordering the second batch I noticed that the Act was not the same. I live in the UK and it is very difficult to get the exact products. I can get closys, Crest Cavity protection regular, xylitol gum and granules from Amazon UK, the Listerine Cool Mint Antiseptic is only available in the 1.5lt bottle but I can't use it because it burns my tongue even after dilution.
    My products now are Ultradex instead of Closys, Dentyl Icy Cherry instead of Listerine and Colgate FlouriGuard instead of Act. I don't know if these will work the same but I am going to give it a go. Thank you Dr Ellie I only wish you were in the UK😘

    All geared to the U.S. market! For U.K…alternatives. For Closys use Ultradex. Listerine original has been discontinued in the U.K. Cool mint is available, but there are two versions other than the ultraclean, one says antibacterial on the label, one does not! 🤷‍♀️. For ACT use Flourigard (available from Superdrug). Crest Cavity toothpaste is not widely available in supermarkets, but can be found online. This is the problem, I want to be able to go to my local supermarket or chemist and buy these products, I cannot. As well as inflated prices online, there is p+p to pay, again pushing up the price. Dr. Ellie, it would be helpful if you published in the comments alternative products to your recommendations, that are more widely available globally. Thank you.

      @ Yes, it’s a problem, especially when Dr Ellie, who ironically is English, does not suggest U.K./European alternative products that are readily available in stores. Doing your own homework is not easy either, it’s a very time consuming exercise, the Listerene website for example, does not list the complete ingredients in each of their products. I love Listerene original, but I can only buy as an import at an over inflated price. Also, I understand that there are currently law suits in progress in the U.S. against Listerine specifically for their ‘cool mint’, this is a worry! Xylitol mints/gum…the only products I have found are ‘Peppersmith’, available to purchase online and they’re expensive, especially if buying for a family. I’m currently undergoing Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth, so I’ve started ‘xylitol pulling’. I purchased a 1kg bag of (non-GMO) pure crystal xylitol from Amazon that is inexpensive and i’m ‘pulling’ 3 x a day. I use the mints only when out and about to save on cost. C’mon Dr Ellie, please do a video with alternative, affordable and readily available products for the U.K./European market. Thank you.

    Dear Mrs. Phillips, have you heard about the controversy around "Listerine Cool Mint"? There are studies that relate the use of it to bacteria that are also present around certain types of cancer. Also this mouthwash was getting some pretty bad results in recent tests, because it would contain toxic substances. May I ask for your opinion about this? Thank you!

    I recently discovered issues with my dental health, including sudden gaps, bone loss, misaligned teeth, and gum recession. When I visited the dentist, they mentioned it was a genetic issue since my mom also faced similar problems. About two years ago, I underwent laser gum surgery. However, now I’m experiencing gum recession again, and my dentist has suggested gum grafting surgery, which involves taking gum tissue from the palate for grafting.

She pointed out I had no black triangles, but pink healthy gums. She said my mouth/teeth look like that of a 30 year old. Cleaning was a breeze.
      By the way, the hygienist told me she had 7 root canals. 😬 She must follow standard ADA guidelines. 😜 I told her about Xylitol and Ellie’s system. She knew about xylitol but my guess is that she is not permitted to recommend it to her patients.

    Hi Dr Ellie, thank you for this video. For those of us trying to find alternatives, is there anyway you could list the key ingredients we need to look for from each product so that if our alternatives don't contain it we know that it won't work.
    For example, I note that fluorigard contains glycerin, but ACT doesn't, so I am not sure if it is a suitable alternative...
    Ultradex does not have the chlorine dioxide that is contained in CloSYS....

      @@JohnJones-qy5ko Thank you so much for that. I appreciate it. This is odd, and I'm wondering why this is. We'll have to see what happens to the ingredient listings on future boxes as they make more. One thing is for sure - we had better all be comparing the label ingredients on the old vs. new every time we buy it again. The most important thing of all is that it contains Sodium Fluoride in the 0.243% concentration, but the other ingredients in there may be very important as well. If they were to change the product too much, it could potentially not work as well in the system any longer.
      But for now, Dr. Ellie did say to someone in the comments of another video that her office called Crest to ask about this new design change, and she was satisfied that the product should be the same.

    Still have not found a reasonably priced substitute for Closys which is US$70 a bottle delivered to my country. Dr Ellie explains that the Closys reacts with your saliva. It turns to oxygen and the anaerobic bacteria in your deep cavities hate oxygen. So what is needed I guess is something which turns to oxygen in your saliva. Oxygenated water perhaps? If anyone has any suggestions please post.

    • @SunrayStar
      @SunrayStar หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That is true that Closys has the oxygen action in the mouth. But the even bigger purpose of it is to reset the pH in the mouth before brushing by raising an acidic oral state into the alkaline range. Brushing acid-softened teeth causes damage to tooth enamel, so Closys changes that pH and makes it safe to brush the teeth without fear of enamel damage. She did once suggest, as a last resort if you just cannot get Closys, something else that will raise the mouth pH before brushing, such as an alkaline water that you would swish with. It would not give the oxygen effect, though.

      @@SunrayStar Thanks much for the info - hmm interesting stuff indeed. Will look around for "something else that will raise the mouth pH before brushing" Maybe some oxygenated water first and then the pH rinse. Will post again with info/results.

      Dr. Ellie has previously recommended using UltraDEX Daily Oral Rinse (Unflavoured) as an alternative to Closys for those based in the UK.

      @@stevewilliams9753 Thanks Steve - yes I've checked UltraDEX, it's basically a rebranded Closys product for the UK and even more expensive - I'm in SE Asia.

    What it would happen if I skip Listerine step? I'm worried about using alcohol-based mouthwash for a long time.

    They just changed the toothpaste formulation where I usually get it. I didn’t know because the box was the same. So I need to pay attention more to the details…

    Walmart has all her products in the US though. Got mine there including the ACT (Sodium Fluoride 0.05%). You’re welcome.

    Dr. Ellie, I've been getting stomach cramps since starting this regimen 2 months ago, am I doing something wrong? I'm not swallowing but since we're not rinsing afterwards, at night I'm possibly ingesting what is remaining in my mouth. What should I do?
    Besides the stomach cramps though, my teeth have been looking fabulous in such a short amount of time and receding gums slowly coming back. But stopped a few days ago to hopefully resolve my stomach issue. Please help ☹

    I have been on your system for about 1.5 years. My teeth are so sensitive. If I eat an apple or most fruits my teeth are so painful I can’t tolerate touching my teeth with my toothbrush.
