I've been using your system for 12 years, but 11 of those years I was only using the Crest, Listerine, and ACT (and I still flossed). I had good results, but since you've been on TH-cam I've ramped it up a bit, stopping flossing and adding Closys, MouthWatchers toothbrush, and Xylitol a year ago. WOW. The results are amazing! My teeth feel so much stronger now, and my gums have really tightened up resulting in less spacing between my teeth. My advice is to use Dr. Ellie's complete mouth care system TO THE LETTER. It works!

I have to agree, I used only crest, listerine, and act ať the beginning (and xylitol, of course), since I was a little afraid of using closys due to negative commentary by many people. Nevertheless, I gave it a try and will continue using closys, too, as it made a HUGE difference especially as regards the gum health (no gum sensitivity or bleeding any more). Just use closys strictly for one minute only, and you will get the maximum benefit 😊

@@lenka1547 It is difficult to persuade everyone to TRY the complete system...and FEEL how their teeth FEEL.
Then I suggest, once your mouth is healthy, go and experiment with all the things so many people think they want to try...
The problem is that without a "gold standard" you have no idea which product is working and which one is not.
Believe me, I have tried so many different ways to "clean my teeth" over the years -
The conclusion from me: this is the only way I do it.
With the EAXCT products - not store bought or children's - just because they "say" they have the same ingredients....for some reason it all makes a difference. Even the kind of brush you use....
      Thanks for your comment.

Hi all, I have been doing Dr. Ellie’s mouth care system for 7 months and my teeth results have been dramatic. Previously I had a variety of teeth health concerns, but being on this system has completely reversed that. My teeth are whiter, the gums no longer bleed and have tightened up. And it’s such an affordable and easy system and the impact on my teeth has literally been a miracle. So thankful for Dr. Ellie sharing this wisdom.

What you were saying about your skin resonated with me. Every time I went to the dentist I would be told that my gum recession was my fault because I wasn't doing enough to keep them clean. In between appointments, I would buy expensive electronic toothbrushes, waterpiks, and floss daily only to be told the same thing again. I tried pulling oil and that did make an improvement, but it only went so far. Luckily I found your mouthcare system. My teeth are now smooth, whiter and the gum pockets that I had are flattening. The Dr. Plotka's manual toothbrush is better than my high priced electronic toothbrush and it replaces flossing. I haven't been to to dentist in over a year because I know I've solved the problem and I don't want them to pick at my healed gumline. Thank you so much for saving my teeth and not believing that gum disease is caused by laziness.

Their gums were bleeding in one area on each of them, and they are almost not bleeding now. And it hurt so much when I was brushinv their teeth, they would cry. Literally after 1 week, they no longer are crying or having pain, and like I said, very little bleeding. I am AMAZED! Can't wait to do the entire regimine. I could cry happy tears myself! Hadn't I discovered Dr. Phillip's mouth care system video six months ago, I would have undergone Invisalign and implant redone due to gum recession as biting and implant placement issue accusations from different dentists. I was skeptical with non-flossing and Xylitol gums but it has saved my gum recession from molar teeth and one implant. As gum recession is no longer an issue, I no longer have any irritation sensation on one of my molar implants. I'd say during the first two months, I still have that sensation and I had to chew Xylitol gum consistently through out the day thus it curbs that sensation (amazing). Now I only chew it after a meal. Thank you Dr. Phillip as you have saved me from lots of turmoils and money!!!❤❤❤

She said, “fine, but I don’t use xylitol very often because it can damage the liver.” She’s a nurse and thinks she knows every thing. I simply googled xylitol side effects and sent her the article. Of course it said there’s no harm from xylitol. I, personally, never leave the house without some in my pocket.

Dr. Ellie, we used your whole system for about 6 months and noticed improvement in our teeth. They were getting whiter and my daughter said that her gums (seemingly) looked to have gone back down, since they've been recessing for a while now. After about those 6 months, I noticed I was getting brownish-black tar-looking stains between my teeth where they meet the gums. My wife got scared and they would not come off even using toothpaste. It might have been my fault. I was keeping the Listerine in my mouth for longer than the burning stage.
We stopped using the whole system when we started noticing symptoms that we never got before until we started your teeth regiment. My daughters noticed that their nervous systems would act up (they would get the jitters out of the blue, almost as if they were getting panic attacks without the panic attack, if that makes sense). Among other symptoms.
Another thing I would like to ask about is the Listerine lawsuits/allegations(?) about the mouthwash causing cancer, ESPECIALLY when used twice a day. Other dentists are advising against using it, especially twice a day. What are your thoughts about this?

Okay, I bought myself some Closys mouth wash, I switched my toothpaste to Crest Cavity, I got some xylitol mints that slowly release in the mouth. They are pretty cool cause they can be stuck to your gum, or cheek. I sleep with one in my mouth every night. I'm vigorously brushing my gums 3 times a day. All of the redness and puffiness in my gums is gone now and they are not bleeding at all anymore. So far it's been about 2 months which amazes me how fast the progress has been. Prior to switching to this regimen my gums bled like crazy even when I wasn't brushing my teeth, they were so red and swollen. I've got many pockets in the 4 and 5 range and my teeth hurt all the way down into my jaw. I wonder if I can heal all of the deep pockets doing what I'm now doing. Anyone else in a similar situation? Did you heal those deep pockets on this system?

    • @Phone-p9y
      @Phone-p9y 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

Dr. Ellie said it can take 6 months to heal, if they are not bleeding and inflamed then that means your immune system isn't attacking the healthy cells. If you can, try eating fermented food like sauerkraut, those probiotic in it will boost your immune system and thus gum health. Probably look into supplement and eat foods with micronutrient that is related to the gums.
It's possible they may reversed, they may not, but having pain free gum is a good start and a good diet can prevent relapse.
You should probably watch the channel Evolve Dental Healing since they made a lot of videos that suggest some food and supplement for dental issues.

It was working really well as my teeth felt very clean and I felt less of a need to floss however, recently I noticed that several of my old amalgam fillings that I had since I was a child are causing me problems. My tongue started to feel extremely dry as if I have glue on my tongue and everything tastes like metal. My assumption is that all of the swishing with xylitol has loosened the amalgam fillings. I am going to the dentist soon to see if that is the problem but wondering if that makes sense to you. I had been swishing/pulling with Xylitol granules after each meal, several times a day. Please share some insight with me if you think this is the cause of the problem and what I should do about it. Thank you!

One of your cautions about dental cleanings is that it will strip away the dental biofilm that is enhanced by the CMCS. I used to just brush my teeth in the morning after brekki and last thing before bed. Min 3 mins long and attentive. No flossing as nothing got stuck. Never in life had coffee, cigarettes or alcohol but brushed with discipline since I was a child. Had no fillings until now. Am 37yo. Noticed some black spot and tiny hole on one bottom back tooth 2 years ago. Had not seen a dentist in 14 years. This one dentist recently said it is only a superficial cavity, a hole, not visible on x ray yet. Recommended cleaning and filling. I wanted to do it myself. Used Listerine cool mint, fluroide toothpaste from grands and xylitol gum and cut out cane sugar for 6 months (with 5 naughty treats) and now my teeth started staining, getting circles of darkening and spots on the front flat surfaces. Google search found mouth washes cause that. I am using whitening toothpaste now but think I have to stop trying myself and get that hole fixed up with a filling as well as my fist professional clean. Chewing gum is not gonna do that, I don't believe any more. Nothing looks different if at all then worse elsewhere on top of the hole. Sorry for being the bad news person.

Hi Dr. Ellie, I’ve been using the mouth care system for almost a year now. And have had good results but I still have some stubborn tartar I can’t seem to get rid of. Can you recommend what I can do for this? I mix xylitol with crest tooth paste when I brush also. I also use the same toothbrush you recommend from mouth watchers I purchased on your online store. Do I need to use more xylitol?

It's OK to use the Listerine with alcohol because you only swish with it for 30-45 seconds, and then the next product, ACT, rinses the residue out of the mouth so no alcohol remains behind.

Fluoride is in the soil around the world.
I suggest moderating how much we consume....which means being aware that teas have high levels of fluoride - and I do not ever drink commercial iced tea for that reason.
Application on teeth - only by dilute concentrations - never strong.
      Never stannous fluoride - a tin-based compound.
      I am very specific.
Only topical use of dilute concentrations of sodium fluoride.
We should definitely end the artificial fluoridation of drinking water in America....for sure.
I have been an activist to stop artificial fluoridation of water for decades.....we are harming young children.

Here in Iceland we only have Listerine cool mint, and granulated xylitol sugar. What kind of mouthwash can I use for the rest? And toothpaste?
For ex. we have the brands “Oral-B” and “G-U-M” do any of their products fit the criteria?

I’ve been using your system for almost a year now but lately I and my hygienist have been noticing my teeth getting discoloured instead of whitening. Is it possible that my enamel is too soft and the system is too harsh on my teeth? I drink orange pekoe on weekdays but my teeth never became discoloured until now. Should I switch to a nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste instead? Thank you!

Systematically doing some stuff is not equal to doing the doctor's system. In most cases people just use what they want whenever they want and get what they deserve

Replaces lost minerals in tooth enamel, and makes teeth more resistant to acid. It can also help to reduce cavities.

Dr. Ellie says to replace brushes every 3-4 months (2-3 months when fighting cavities or gum problems).

She also recommends using two toothbrushes, one for the morning brush, and another at night. Letting them thoroughly dry between uses is beneficial for fighting bacteria.

Dr.Ellie, you don't recommend flossing to remove food particles from between teeth? Won't the food rot and cause bad bacteria to thrive even with xylitol several times a day and Listerine twice a day.

Dr. Ellie calls Listerine the "liquid flosser" and says that it gets between the teeth far better than string floss can. It should be vigorously swished in the mouth, not just barely moved around.

I’m using my sonicare toothbrush, but I’m still getting lots of brown staining between my teeth. I also have receding gums as I’m 69 years old. I’ve been using your system for about four months and overall my teeth are not as sensitive as they were, but I’m upset that they’re so stained. I know the enamel is thinner, but I thought that it would help that. What should I do?

I'm not clear on how to brush. I understand stimulating the gums but is that all we are doing? Are we brushing the actual teeth? Are we trying to angle the brush so that it gets in between the gum and tooth (like the BASS method)? Thank you

I do both. Because I saw her commenting elsewhere that if you start to get a brownish tint while your teeth start healing and expressing the plaque and whatnot, you need to focus brushing vigorously on those teeth. It did help. So now I brush the teeth, then massage the gums. It always looks like I flossed after, even though I didn’t. You REALLY need the tooth brush she recommends.

@@Mfay4 Yes, I have the toothbrush she recommends. I'm curious about the brown tint. I had that when I was doing a zero carb diet for 8 weeks. I thought it might have been due to being low in vitamin d since I wasn't consuming dairy.

@@mjmj4962 not sure. Im thinking there could be multiple reasons it can occur. I wish I could remember her exact comment :-/ it did appear it’s not uncommon though. I just started brushing harder than I normally do (because I thought you were supposed to be gentle until I saw her comment) and that helped a lot.
