BODEGA BAY crab snaring for DUNGENESS CRABS

I traveled to Bodega Bay to catch Dungeness crabs with crab snares. It was raining and it was cold. I also forgot to bring food and the only way to have something to eat was to catch it.

Savage fishing in the rain, best way to beat the crowds for sure. Looks like ya had the spot all to urself 👌. How many keepers? Crab looked delicious, simply cooked 👍 Enjoyed the video, makes me wanna go there to crab & chill, especially like how the car is easy accessible.

Just a few people out there. The bite was slow until low tide. I only caught 1 keeper. It’s definitely a chill spot.

From the videos I have seen it looks like that area has a lot of shorts. Is it always like that or just after the fleet has been turned loose?

The place was producing a few weeks earlier. Crabs are unpredictable. It can be easy catches one day and then slow the next day.
