Christie Ressel one if you don't have it already that is on "how to find your style" I lack one and tend to be lost on where of even start. Also super new to your channel this was my first ever video. I enjoyed it very much! Thanks for taking the time to make it.
Organizing my closet has been a crucial aspect to creating a solid wardrobe for me. All my tops, skirts, dresses, bottoms, and toppers/outerwear have their own homes. It makes it so much easier to see everything and make outfits. Also love your point about prints. I love printed skirts and dresses!! I get most of mine secondhand and they are so affordable but really fun.
THIS IS HOW I DO IT ! I HAVE VARIETY OF THESE COLORS IN MY WARDROBE . I " ONLY " HAVE THE JET BLACKS , ( BLACK ) , GRASS GREENS , DARK CHOCOLATE BROWNS , AND DARK BEIGE . THESE COLORS I USE AS FOR SUITES AND SKIRTS OR PANTS .THESE COLORS WILL FAVOR ANY OTHER COLOR . YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THESE COLORS . EXAMPLE : BEIGE SUIT AND BEIGE SKIRT OR PANTS WITH DIFFERENT COLOR BLOUSE . BY HAVING OF THE SAME COLOR ( SUIT AND SKIRT ) WILL " ELONGATE " YOUR HEIGHT . WITH " SHOES " SAME COLOR WITH YOUR SKIRT , ONLY POINTED 3 - 4 INCHES IN HEELS OR , ALL " NUDE COLOR SHOES . " THIS WAY , YOU HAVE " NO MORE EXCUSES ! "
Love your energy and style. I am trying to minimalise my life right now. Less clothes, less stuff in general. Perhaps a basic wardrobe video for the average woman ( not in media or fashion ) that wants to downsize her wardrobe and shoes and accessories. For instance, a basic wardrobe would include 4 jeans: two blue, one black, one white; 2 dressy pants, 3 skirts, 6 dresses etc.. I really don't want more than necessary as I am trying to eliminate the excess and enjoy/cherish things that I love to wear. Also a packing trip for a week in a carry on would be fantastic! Congrats on achieving 10K subscribers! Well done xo
Thank-you! I did do a basics video, but will also be creating a video on how to create a capsule wardrobe for those that are looking to pair-down in their closet. xo
I used to try and follow the “you need x number of pants” but I ended up buying more clothes to fit those requirements and never wearing them. I think the Marie Condo method of thinking how you want your life to be (Pinterest is great for outfits/interior decorating you like) before you declutter, then you can go through your remaining wardrobe and compare it to your board and make a list of what you’d like.
I just randomly found your channel... love it! I always struggle with having only items I love in my closet and so many times I buy something thinking I love it, but once I get it home I never wear it. I will be checking out more of your videos :)
I would absolutely love a basics video! I think that is where I struggle the most. I gravitate to accessories because they will always fit, since I'm constantly going through different sizes. But this also means that I have very little clothing. So I think investing in the basics might be my way out of this awkward phase. I really loved this video and look forward to purging my closet when I get home.
I've watched so many closet videos and no one has explained it the way you have. Made so much sense! I'm purging and going shopping for fitting clothes lol ... thank you for all the great tips!
I never knew about basics ir cared for basics, until this year, thats crazy considering how old I am,and it has changed my life, and now I love basics, and have changed my style of clothing too. I didn't realize I had outgrown my style and that was why I never had anything to wear . It's soo crazy how much I have learned about clothing in the last year, especially since I became interested in capsule and minimalist wardrobe. I dont have either but I do have a very cohesive wardrobe with many go to outfits and something ready to wear at all times. I absolutely love shopping now ,and love making sure all my clothing goes with anything. I love being so on point lol!!
I am a survivor of breast cancer. It is a diet change, mind change and a miracle. No chemo. I now need to feel pretty not guilty for living. I hope this helps.
The advice about making sure new clothing works with at least three other items in your wardrobe is spot-on. I do love your look, but the pink eyeshadow makes your eyeballs look pink.
Omg! You are a blessing. I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone (sneakers, tees, hoodies) and your video gave me a boost of motivation. Thank you! God bless
Tiny hints that really helped me. First closet purge, got rid of 70%. Second much brighter, daylight spectrum light bulb. Rather jarring at first, but helped me appreciate different tones and color combos that work. Third, went shopping by self without my son saying “it’s fine, let’s go home”! Thanks for your video. 💕
I just found you, scrolled down and read the description box and saw we have so many things in common and I haven't even watched one whole video: clothes, makeup and beauty addict, animal lover, caffeine addict and wine lover. Yes, totally subscribed!
Yes I feel with you. I want to dress up, but never have a reason to do it. Work clothes all day, then when I come home, I usually wear something easy and comfy. And I am a freezer, I can't just wear anything when the weather is bad, so fall, winter and spring, I need warm clothes and well it's hard.. Summer might also be to cold to wear dresses, so I end up wearing pants and a top, maybe even a sweater. But I want to be able to use more clothes and looks... But end up wearing the same, because I don't want to be cold.
Brilliant video! I had a wardrobe clear out a couple of months ago but you're so right... I absolutely still have things in there that I don't wear because I don't feel good when I wear them! Time for another clear out! Xx
Fantastic information! I realize I am catching this video a little late but want to add I would also love a basics video. Thank you. You are so fun, light, easy and informational.
How about a video on classic underwear for those tricky tops and bottoms. I am forever in search of god tips for off shoulder tops and open backs. Strapless bras are a nightmare for me. Need other options....
I'll definitely cover that! I have a great trick to making sure strapless bras stay in place (really, I have a large bust so they use to be a nightmare for me, too). :)
Good tips. I get around this by planning my outfit the night before. Change of season is the hardest thing. In the spring for example I might wear something that is too warm, or wear the wrong outfit for a rainy day.
All these points are sooo true!! I am guilty of most of them!! So glad I stumbled upon your channel! You are so easy to watch, you are comfortable talking to the camera, it shows! New sub!!
Such g-o-o-d stuff! l'll forever remember Ur tip to think of 3 ways to wear an item before purchasing it. Hope Ur pet is feeling better!?! Tfs, LuvU&Later!
Loved this Christie! The rule of 3 at the checkout counter is excellent - been there myself with spur of the moment purchases and when I get it home I can't find anything to put with it. :)
Omg about the basics! I recently got fed up because I always wanted to but I didn't have the basics so I recently went shopping! Yes it was an exciting but now that I have them I feel so much better my outfits even more!
I'm SO happy you enjoyed the video! I will definitely do a packing video -- maybe two! One for a regular vacation and one for work (love that idea). Thanks for the inspo! :)
Wow this is an issue I've always had well we've all been there but I've been really discouraged about the things in my closet lately and the biggest helpful tip is to take out the things that don't fit I do fluctuate and I'm not ready to get rid of those clothes but that has definitely helped I did a closet purge based off this video and boy has it changed my life thanks so much!
Thank you for these awesome tips, I really appreciate them. I would love for you to discuss what are basis pieces to purchase, I am full figured and would love some ideas to mix and match and create more outfits both for work and going out as well a more casual but elegant look is what I usually strive for. Thank you soooooo much once again.
So glad I found this and your videos. Instantly hit subscribe and thumbs up! I love all your tips. I work as a costumer for movies and TV but have to admit it's so much easier working with designers, producers and writers telling us what they are looking for. Years later I am realizing it's time I start actually coming up with a good solid wardrobe for myself. Love all your tips and more than anything your personality. Looking forward to seeing more from you and watching some of your old videos. TFS
Thank-you so much, that means the world! What a cool job you have! I love working with creative people, it's so much fun (not without stress mind you). I hope you enjoy the process of building your wardrobe! xo
Thank you so much. I have say I don't consider myself "creative" Im more the opposite which is very important when dealing with continuity and such on films os it works out but I do admire all those who are. Loving all your videos!
I found your channel yesterday and I’m obsessed! I love your style! I often find stylists suggest more monochrome wardrobes and I just love that you suggest colour and patterns!
When in high school my favorite words were I have nothing to wear, ha ha my closet was full nice clothes, every time I said that my dad would if you had only one dress then you would know what to wear. Yes, I was pampered in High school, had to keep up with the style the other girls wear. Today I have gone through my closet and gave them to va donations, and they were nice clothes, I just didn't wear them anymore now I go to one store style and problem solved. Thanks for this video i needed help with my styles. Sometimes we need some of our old clothes for decorating, hope hope you agree. Thanks again for this video as I am also organized much much better in my closet. Thanks
Ok now this is the most useful video I have watched in a while and thank you so much for it! I often find myself purchasing one piece items (mostly dresses) to save me some time when trying to decide what to wear or avoid the mix and match situation. After watching this I now realize I miss some basics so I'd really love to watch a video on them.
See.. I am the complete opposite. I had way too many prints in my closet. Nothing would go together. Also holding on to smaller sizes. So I've recently purged my closet and realized I actually didn't have much to wear since I refused to shop with this weight gain. So now I'm starting fresh. Buying all my basics and only things I truly love and feel good in. Thanks Christie 😊
loved this video! your tips and style have helped push me to add more colour into my wardrobe too and to think about fun pieces more. also your shoe collection is divine!
Oh my gosh, your comment made my day! I'm so happy to hear that! It's so much fun to experiment with your style -- I'm glad you're having fun with it. xoxo
Yes! I have 3 closets and more of clothes and I never have anything to wear! And I haven't changed size! I think the key is just having some basics/classics and some key outfits that you just wear. I read that successful people have a 'uniform", i.e a standard outfit they just put on. I also have things I don't really like or feel good in, but have the "guilt factor". I spent money, now I feel like I need to wear it. Not any more - sometimes have to cut your losses!
LovelyLauren5 I've had that problem running out of underware is the worst! How I fixed it is to do wash days every other day or at the end of every week. Jeans/leggings can be worn 3x as long as they don't have visible dirt or stains layered sweaters that go over tees the same thing .as long as they aren't dirty or smelly you can wear them 2-3x. Hope this helps.
I know, right? 😂 But I still also have clothes that I can't wear... because of the weather! I essentially have way too many clothes for the rarest weather around here 😂
Even better then a shopping list is shopping online. I mostly shop online because I just use the filter to select the clothes that I need and I don't even look at those that I don't need or that are out of my budget. Also I can try them at home and pair it with things that I already own and see if it works together.
Totally! I love online shopping, too! I still recommend lists for most as many don't have the foresight to filter out other things like you do and can get easily drawn into other beautiful pieces. :)
My dilemma with online shopping is you can't fit it and I always want to make sure it will fit me well before I get it. And also they don't always look like the one in the photo or it's not what you expected to be
Kassie Orton Well, you have to try it on either in the store or at home to see if it fits. And I rather try it at home and send things that don't fit back. I always order a selection of things to try on and usually I find at least one thing that fits. But I guess that is personal preference.
Great videos! One tip that works well in my case: i keep the sets ready hanging, eg. a blouse matched with the skirt and a blazer that goes well+ a belt and a necklace or so, and even a pair of tights This way in the morning choosing the hanger is my only job. Greetings from Poland!
I love the idea of that, but find it can take the versatility away from a closer (as you're always pairing the same pieces together, so the outfits can become stale quickly). However, some people LOVE that method, and it's certainly convenient! If it works for you, definitely keep it up! :)
love your video! I'm a new subscriber in need of help. :) is there a way to combine colorful pants/slacks? my closet (talking about pants) has a few jeans blue/black/white, 1 gray and tanned slacks and everything else is black slacks. I love how people can wear colorful pants any tips on how I can do that?
Absolutely! If your pants are printed, pull the colours from the print into tops, accessories, and shoes to put together some new, fun outfits. If they're a solid, then look for printed tops to help you pull in other colours, or ground them with neutral if you're worried that you'll look too bright. :)
Pair with a neutral or printed top that has that color in it and another neutral jacket/cardigan like a white or black. My golden rule is one color, one print/stripe/etc and then build your outfit around that with basics that coordinate. I wear a lot of Lilly Pulitzer so if I have a cute printed top or pants I'll always wear a neutral white bottom with it, and colorful shoes or bag to match. Or in the case of the printed dress, I have a white cardigan and a white jacket I always go to to tone it down a bit. You can do it! :)
At 75 I have come to depend on 3 colors...black, white & grey. I love getting dressed in the morning because it is stress free. I realize this is not for everyone but I really enjoy my wardrobe. Two years ago I made the decision to get my hair cut super short, what a game changer. Wish I would have done this years ago☺. Do what makes you happy ♡
Hi from a German girl living in Vancouver! I love finding Canadian women on TH-cam :-) You're an amazing woman, such positive and healthy attitude! Subscribed right away :)
great video I am struggling so much with so much clothes and nothing to wear . Always wind up wearing the same things all the time.. I am 53 and a preschool teacher and really need to get a better style . would love some help
Hi Tina, a lot of my clients struggle with the same thing initially! It can be challenging (and overwhelming) trying to figure out what to wear and purchase. Would love to help you! Send me an email: christie@fashiontranslated.com and let's chat. :)
Sorry to hear about your dog, mine had two surgeries to remove bladder and urethra stones, very painful. We had to as well change his food to wet instead of dry for the remainder of his little life (Royal Canin urinary SO) I think was the brand. I wish I would push myself to create more outfits out of what I already own, watching your videos help. Thanks for sharing
Thank-you so much for the well wishes for her! We feed raw, so we won't be changing her food (though I've heard what you mentioned works beautifully too!), but our holistic vet gave us Hydrangea drops to give her to make sure they stay away from now on. :) When you get dressed in the morning, take a picture on your phone of your outfit -- eventually you'll have a lookbook of your outfits in your closet! :)
this is just the video I needed! I used to just wear whatever I wanted, but I've gained weight and most of my clothes dont fit anymore! and not to mention I've been transitioning to adulthood so my taste has been changing a lot. I always have to try on like 5 different things before I end up just grabbing an oversized graphic T-shirt. This was really helpful! :)
NEW to this channel! I'm from Niagara. Love this! Definitely needs a basics video. I need help!! Mom of 2. Need stylish but playground ready clothes. Help!
Seriously Christie, I'm binging all your videos and ALL of them have been so incredibly helpful, even if only in terms of encouragement and rethinking some things. This was one is ridiculously on point and useful. So glad I found your channel! x
Thank you for these tips, they were very helpful! I like the idea about trying to find 3 different ways to where an item! i am in the process of minimizing my wardrobe and I have been trying to be more aware of what items can be worn with what. i have never been a fashionable person or bothered to put much effort into how I look, but i want to feel more confident and happy in my outfit choices. It's kinda different for me, but it's a fun journey! :-)
Style is a forever evolving process -- and a fun one! I'm glad you're enjoying it too! We all need so much less in our closets than we think we do. The rule of three is super handy to use. It takes time, for sure, but your closet in the long term will thank-you for it!
I never thought to think of 3 ways to wear an item before I bought it. That sounds so simple but why didn't I think of it before? Thanks for the video! :)
Everyone probably thinks *first world problems* when you loose weight and things dont fit anymore, trust me it's frustrating, I'm happy that I've lose weight but things 'fit' differently, your body changes in ways you arent aware of until you put on that 'cute flowing top' and it ends up looking more like a sack... :P
what do I do if I'm an intern, and everyone at my office dresses so casually and I always feel overdressed, since I'm only an intern I feel like I can't just show up in a pencil skirt because everyone else wears workout leggings
Most offices dress far more casual than they should. If you feel good wearing those polished pieces, I say keep doing it! Ppl that dress for the position they want are often noticed quicker because they're already dressing for that role (if that makes sense). If you want to keep it professional, but slightly more casual, when you wear a pencil skirt (for example), pair it with something like a denim/chambray shirt tucked in so you have a casual top with it. You'll still look elevated but a touch more casual. Above all, if that's how you like to dress, never dull who you are because of those around you. You dressing more professional may inspire the others in the office to-do the same! xo
I was always taught "dress for the job you want, not the job you have" keep up the polished look. I promise it goes a long way, I always notice those who look put together and hold them in higher regards when promoting/hiring
abslol1 keep dressing up! I had an intern show up one time in a white tank , hoodie and sweats. I couldn't believe no one sent her home. Everyone talked about how unprofessional she must be. You are building your closet for when you do work full time.
abslol1 yeah I'm a college students and I always feel over dressed, surrounding me are girls in sweats with hair in those really high messy buns that look like an animal on their head. I still keep dressing cause if they wanna look sloppy that doesn't mean I have to. It just sucks that people keep asking me why "I try so hard" and "for who" and I'm like me bish, and it's not me trying too hard it's just part of who I am
You have such a bright pretty face! Please do a basics, where to get them (different price points) and maybe alternatives (crisp white top vs flowy white blouse), etc and when is the best time to stock up, without becoming a hoarder (who me?) Haha. Thanks!
So on your first tip, I gained 35 pounds over 3 years because of Grad school. I have been the same size for years and realize its stress and sendentary lifestyle. So I put the items I can no longer wear in those large vacuum seal space bag. I did this only with the pieces I loved. This left me with maybe 10 wardrobe items and then I added missing pieces in my current size and created a capsule wardrobe. I still am trying to figure out my style for my new size but I feel much better about the clothes Im wearing.
Loved it! Sometimes I just throw on the most plain whatever things that fit because I stress out to the burn out point over wanting to look good and not knowing what to wear to make it happen... same thing for shopping clothes I actually get depressed shopping and then buy nothing! Haha I just get so overwhelmed thanks for sharing!
I recently created a Shopping List before I went shopping for my Spring wardrobe! This really does work! Now, I actually have loads of things I love to wear in my closet!💗
First time watching one of your videos and I immediately liked how you present yourself! You come across as very knowledgeable & the material easy to understand, even if I'm not a fashionista. Great work! ❤
So glad i found this channel. I have lost almost 100 pounds in the past six months. I can wear regular sizes again and i have no idea what im doing. I such a jeans and tshirt girl but really want to explore new looks. I would love some advice on shape wear. I have a good pit of loose skin and would like to get something that really works to tame that.
+eatyourkimchi fangirl86 That's amazing! Good for you! I can't really offer advice in the comments, but have some online services listed on my website if you're ever interested. Xo
Hey Christie, Just found your channel yesterday and I'm enjoying all your videos. Very professionally done AND you are great in front of the camera. Now back to watching your videos while I enjoy my coffee this morning ;-)
Don't buy unless you can think of 3 ways to wear it. Love this tip!
+Rebekah Dunford it's a game changer!

Actually, my eyes were really dry when I filmed this video from working some incredibly long hours at the time (and the lighting is horrible).

I like the pink eyeshadow. And the lighting. I hope your doggy is okay.
My Dad's dog had calcium oxalate stones. Lot's of food s have oxalates.
Omg! You are a blessing. I'm slowly stepping out of my comfort zone (sneakers, tees, hoodies) and your video gave me a boost of motivation. Thank you! God bless
I'm so happy to hear you found it helpful! Experimenting with your style is always fun. xo
I think knew all of these things already but might be in a state of denial. Needed your pep talk to remind me that I have work to do. Thanks!
I'm so happy you found it useful! xo

Yes to a video on basic 👍🏼
Perfect! I'll make sure to have something up soon for you. xo
The closet basics video just went live. :)
Yes, basics video PLEASE! Im in the process of building my basics! Im doing some of it from this *AMAZING* little thrift shop near my house.
A basics video is up on my channel hun! xo
Girl I can't get over how you line your shoes! So outside of the box, I love it!!❤
I just found you, scrolled down and read the description box and saw we have so many things in common and I haven't even watched one whole video: clothes, makeup and beauty addict, animal lover, caffeine addict and wine lover. Yes, totally subscribed!
Woot, woot! Twinsies! xoxo
I have the opposite problem. I never go out and I have so many clothes I want to wear. Then I realize I'm a lazy sloth and I just go out in my pajamas
Sometimes it's great to pair down and ask yourself what you REALLY love in your closet. Get rid of anything that really doesn't speak to you. xo

Athleisure!
Most of my closet consists of fabulous formal pieces. Instead of paring those down I decided that I just need more fancy parties 😂
Brilliant video! I had a wardrobe clear out a couple of months ago but you're so right... I absolutely still have things in there that I don't wear because I don't feel good when I wear them! Time for another clear out! Xx
Would definitely like to see wardrobe staples! Found this video to be quite helpful as I'm in the midst of getting my closet together!
Awesome! I'm so happy you found it useful! The wardrobe basics video is definitely on the way!
Fantastic information! I realize I am catching this video a little late but want to add I would also love a basics video. Thank you. You are so fun, light, easy and informational.

Christie Ressel yes please !!! I Also have a huge Chest and can Never wear strapless tops cause i cant find the right bra!! 😭😭😭
Bralettes or go braless
Ka Bell no bra=life
Good tips. I get around this by planning my outfit the night before. Change of season is the hardest thing. In the spring for example I might wear something that is too warm, or wear the wrong outfit for a rainy day.
Love the advice to picture an item in 3 different ways. It is very good advice that I will try to start thinking more about.
It can definitely be challenging to start doing, but it makes all of the difference when implemented!
All these points are sooo true!! I am guilty of most of them!! So glad I stumbled upon your channel! You are so easy to watch, you are comfortable talking to the camera, it shows! New sub!!
Thanks, beautiful! So glad you found it helpful! xo
Such g-o-o-d stuff! l'll forever remember Ur tip to think of 3 ways to wear an item before purchasing it. Hope Ur pet is feeling better!?! Tfs, LuvU&Later!
It makes such a difference! I highly recommend it!
Keep only things that bring you joy
Yes, ma'am!
Loved this Christie! The rule of 3 at the checkout counter is excellent - been there myself with spur of the moment purchases and when I get it home I can't find anything to put with it. :)
It can be challenging to-do at first, but makes a huge difference in your closet in the long-run! xo
Omg about the basics! I recently got fed up because I always wanted to but I didn't have the basics so I recently went shopping! Yes it was an exciting but now that I have them I feel so much better my outfits even more!
Right? They make all the difference!
Hi Christie. Can you please do a - How to pack for a week - work wardrobe please???? This was a fantastic video btw!!!!
I'm so, so happy to hear that!!! xoxo
I am not interested in clothes at all but is refreshing to watch someone that actually knows what she is talking about ,very professional .
Thank-you!
The way she says about 😊
Canadian, eh!? LOL
Christie Ressel im indian! But i found that super cute
I’ve transformed my closet due to your fantastic videos! I’ve never felt so prepared for daily life. Thanks!!!!
So happy to hear that! 💗🙌🏻
Basic pieces PLEASE!!! WOULD LOVE THAT VIDEO!! I'm a new subscriber, so for the new subscribers please do the video.
A basics video is up on my channel now, hun! xo
Yes, please, do a video on wardrobe basics!
+Christie Ressel
Hi, I'm retired & now live in the South, from NYC. Transitioning has been a little challenging. may I email you?
I found your channel yesterday and I’m obsessed! I love your style! I often find stylists suggest more monochrome wardrobes and I just love that you suggest colour and patterns!
Hi, Christie, love your videos, can you make a video and talk about Basics, for hourglass body type. Thanks.
Thank-you! I"ll definitely be doing a basics video and will chat about body-types for sure. :)

Thanks
Yes, organization makes such a huge difference (as does purging as we evolve in our style). So happy you're enjoying the process!
That's coming up this week! Stay tuned! :)
What are the essential wardrobe basics? Would love a detailed video! Thanks so much!
It's coming up! :)
Toronto born and raised. Learning to keep only the things I love that look good on me now!! The past is gone and the future has yet to arrive!
loved this video! your tips and style have helped push me to add more colour into my wardrobe too and to think about fun pieces more. also your shoe collection is divine!

Sometimes I literally have nothing to wear bc I don't have a shirt or bottoms bc they might all be in the wash
Laundry days are crucial.
LovelyLauren5 was
Febreeze!
I know, right? 😂 But I still also have clothes that I can't wear... because of the weather! I essentially have way too many clothes for the rarest weather around here 😂
Yes full video on basics!
Up on my channel! xo
Mondoshawn no 7
My dilemma with online shopping is you can't fit it and I always want to make sure it will fit me well before I get it.
I rotate the pieces obviously (usually due to a big bumper ;) so the idea is not to leave single pieces hanging because matching is more than art :-)
love your video!
Definitely on the how to pack on the weekend. Thanks
A packing video should be up tomorrow!
Your skin is fantastic ❤️🇬🇧x
Thank-you so much! I have a lot of scarring, so I can assure you it's a lot of foundation! LOL! xoxo
Christie Ressel... I would be interested in hearing about the products you use.
I did a recent get ready with me video -- everything I use is listed there!
Just found your channel and I love it!
Welcome to the community! So happy to have you! xo
Hi from a German girl living in Vancouver! I love finding Canadian women on TH-cam :-) You're an amazing woman, such positive and healthy attitude! Subscribed right away :)
+Krissy hey, girl! Thanks so much for such a sweet comment! Sending love! Xo

Hi Tina, a lot of my clients struggle with the same thing initially! It can be challenging (and overwhelming) trying to figure out what to wear and purchase. Would love to help you! Send me an email: christie@fashiontranslated.com and let's chat. :)
Tina Thornton I have the same problem and I’m only 13
Who would thumbs down such a great, helpful video ?! This is super helpful, thank-you 🌺
+KAY G aww thanks! 💗
Beautiful lipstick colour, which is it please?
YSL Rouge Volupte #31
I would love a basics video!!!
I'll definitely be working on one shortly! :)
Definitely need the wardrobe basics video!
Please make a wardrobe basics:-)
Wardrobe basics video is already up, love! xo
this is just the video I needed! :)
It can be challenging to figure out our personal style and body-type sometimes! I'm so happy you found the video helpful!
NEW to this channel! I'm from Niagara. Love this! Definitely needs a basics video. I need help!! Mom of 2. Need stylish but playground ready clothes. Help!
Basics video is up on my channel hun! xo
+Simply Sabby It's such a game changer!
Totally! There is definitely a new learning curve for your new body, and a lot of shopping to-be done. It can be overwhelming to know where to start!
ahh I love this! I ALWAYS say, "I have nothing to wear" and my b/f gets upset and says "what about all of those clothes in your walk in closet!" Lol
what do I do if I'm an intern, and everyone at my office dresses so casually and I always feel overdressed, since I'm only an intern I feel like I can't just show up in a pencil skirt because everyone else wears workout leggings
I promise it goes a long way, I always notice those who look put together and hold them in higher regards when promoting/hiring
abslol1 I also feel overdressed at my job. Too many people dress like students. I no longer care and dress like myself. If you're comfortable, do you.
abslol1 keep dressing up!
Please do a basics video! Thanks for sharing💕
You have such a bright pretty face! Please do a basics, where to get them (different price points) and maybe alternatives (crisp white top vs flowy white blouse), etc and when is the best time to stock up, without becoming a hoarder (who me?) Haha. Thanks!
LOL, no problem! A basics video is on the way shortly. xo
Yah Christie! Hurray for those who speak of style instead of fashion. Thanks for sharing. Your appearance is very genuine.
Thank-you so much! I so appreciate the sweet comment! xo
Need basics for my new body...always bee thin..now because of illness I am plus size! I can not wear heels any longer and I feel so frumpy
I've got you covered, beautiful. A new video for that will be up soon! :)
Thanks for this video, definitely feels like I don't have anything to wear sometimes.
I hear ya! Been there for sure. xo
I have no idea what wardrobe basics are
Don't worry, I"ll be making a video to show you. :)
Yes basic video would be wonderful
Up on my channel already hun! xo
Fantastic! I'm so glad you found it helpful. Start rebuilding with the basics and then add fun pieces that grab your attention from there. xo
Yes I need to know the basics
Packing for a week definitely!
That's why I shop my basics (that I'm perfectly sure fits me) online. I hate going to the store! But I love to look put together!
First time watching one of your videos and I immediately liked how you present yourself! You come across as very knowledgeable & the material easy to understand, even if I'm not a fashionista. Great work! ❤
Thank-You so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. xo
Definitely need that video of how to get the basics, body type, style and age!! That's the video I need. Please help!
Yes please, basics video
Awesome tips!!! Would love a basics vid!! Hope your sweetie is feeling better!
Ohh just saw the basics vid is up yay!!!
Xo
Thanks Christie ! Well done 🥰
Yes please! Make a video about wardrobe basics. Specifically, if there is anything that a size 24 woman should have in her wardrobe. Thanks!
A wardrobe basics video is up on my channel and applies to women at any size! xo
Please please please do a basics video! 🙌🏼💗 I feel like I sometimes think I know what I should have for basics, but I don't!
A basics video is already up on my channel xo
Yes! A video on basics would be so helpful! 😊
One is on the way!
Hey Christie, Just found your channel yesterday and I'm enjoying all your videos. Very professionally done AND you are great in front of the camera. Now back to watching your videos while I enjoy my coffee this morning ;-)
So happy to hear you’re enjoying them! Welcome to the community! Xoxo
