You serve as an example to other f1 ytbers. There is a serious lack of good f1 drivers who also give good advice and refrain from saying the same old things (that are very hard to interpret for a beginner). It’s really beneficial to break things down the way you did.
Thank you for these videos I recently got my first racing wheel and I absolutely suck I spin out a couple times every lap so hopefully these videos help lol
Looking your vids, learning from them, giving me the confidence to make my own progress in turning down all assists. even through its a long way to master it, it makes much more fun. thanks for your time in making such guides
Great advice!... for the 1% of players who have time to memorize every turn on every track, the other 99% should just leave the racing line on most of the time.
Just one thing. I wouldn't recommend braking based on shadows, depending on time of the day it can change. Otherwise great vid, keep it up, you are helping thousands of people. Defenetly gonna turn racing line off.
Im in a league that ends in may and im waiting for my new fanatec 8NM wheelbase. My goal is to get used to the feeling of the force feedback and then after the season ends, I'll switch to no line. I'll definetely find this video useful❤
Great tutorial. I'd request a tutorial on shifting. How to know what gear to be in to enter turns, and when to short shift, and whatever else you could touch on. Thanks
@mikhail6990 lol I definitely drive manual trans vehicles. Both my cars are 5 speeds and my big rig is a 13 speed. I've given this game and F1 24 some time, but I'm really disappointed in the physics. F1 24 felt a little better, but after having so much time in iRacing, ACC and GT7, these F1 games need a major overhaul in that physics department.
i have a question that doesn't really involve this video, i'm at the skill level now where i'm able to win 110 ai races with realistic ai in a mclaren or alpine w no assists. but one thing that can be annoying is the straights, would you say straight line speed is most important when racing ai bc of how fast they are in the straights? especially places like vegas mexico baku etc or should i focus on cornering speed
I would say red doesnt mean brake but that the speed at which your going at is too fast in what way you slow down is what it doesnt say specifically so technically the game still is correct in saying the red line as its not saying brake straight up in words the same for all games red means your going to fast for that part. Not hating or anything just a quick note and great video mate keep the good work up 👍❤
I've been watching Jarno for a while not really gain anything much from him(he's a great driver don't get me wrong) but if you guys wanted to learn this is the one for you! great job Mr.Leigh

Drive a manual car IRL, that'd be the best tutorial. Took me 10 minutes to get used to it, never played an f1 game before.

Nice vid as usual, it would be nice to see how to master tyres (wear, temperatures, pressures)
Thanks bud! And that’s a great idea I’ll look into this

This is very useful, will definitely try. Though I still cant turn car without all assists on :-)
you're a savage mate! can you make a video on your setup?
Thanks bud! Is that my real set up with the rig or ingame set up?
@@BrendonLeigh the actual rig: pc + sim
I only use it as a reference since I play in cockpit mode and I can barely see the damn track 😂😂😂
