- We take a quick look at what is in the box and then it is time to build... I have built a few Tamiya cars over the years but it has been a while. The last car was the M06 Beetle which I raced indoors in the Mini series. The rear wheel drive M06 struggled against the Front whell drive M03 M05 and M07. the last 4wd Tamiya I raced was the Tamiya TRF 416 so I am looking forwd to getting back racing 4WD touring cars.
Getting the car ready for winter training on carpet tracks.

I can't believe you left out the obligatory "sniffing the new tyres" step. 😁
RTR are great for getting into the hobby but running a car you built yourself from a kit takes it to a whole new level of satisfaction.
It was a very satisfying build …. You learn more about the car and it’s setup when you build it from scratch

Take a gander at the new m chassis it looks amazing with many different setups available ie 2 wd front or rear etc.

Step one........close the box if you didnt buy bearings and do not reopen it.
Tt01 is an amazing chassis better than a tt02 if you dont want the buggy options. But the tt01 race version is a dick to build.
Just bought a box with 7 kg of tt01 various parts yes its that good.
I have the scooby burns and reid.
Agreed the 01 is much nicer to drive than the 02 but the 02 design is easier to work on diffs
Hey guys loving the channel and being new to rc it’s fun to see grassroots stuff I can get involved with. My question is would you recommend the tt-01 over the tt-02 chassis for a beginner racer? Due to metal gears etc? Thanks
The TT02 is an evolution of the TT01 and I would have probably brought the TT02 had we not been restricted by the class classification of the Iconic cup. Both great cars for beginners looking to get into racing … check to see what is most popular at your local track …

What gearing do you run for races?
We have brought the gearing option kit but we also vary the gearing depending on the track.
Does it drift if i change tires ?
Yeah you can drift it … but the proper drift cars are designed to make drifting easier as the have better steering range and mechanically set up to drift.

Ölstoßdämpfer sind Upgrade-Teil und müssen daher mitgebracht werden
