- I'm definitely a Tamiya Guy™ :D Well another Tamiya machine added to the fleet, this TT-01 Type-E will find itself hurtling around the Strickly Sidewayz Club parking lot among other places but my goal is to keep this one mostly stock without upgrading it too much, pretty much want to kep it stock class or what they used to call Tamiya Championship Series (TCS) GT2 class :D Usually this means ball bearings and very little else in terms of allowable upgrades. Regardless the main goal was for this car kit to be a fun basher and parking lot racer for the random chalk track days lol. It's handy to have wheels, tires and a whole body set included as well :D In Canada the Tamiya kits were typically bundled with an ESC (electronics speed controller) however recently things have changed, i explain in the video. A torque tuned silver can 27 turn motor is perfect for fun level parking lot action, keeps everyone side by side lap after lap. We have already had some fun this year with TT's and F1 cars...I'm sure we will get M cars going :D One of my most favourite cars to drive around for fun is my Tamiya F104 F1 car :D Look for digest and shakedown video of this car and future cars like this :D Thanks for watching! Tt01 type e is a awesome chassis but avoid the race one its way too fiddly. Just built my custom alice tt01 with 2 johnson 4 holes and 2 gearboxes. It has a twin motor hobbywing esc and runs 8.4v nimh. Its good with proper metal wheels and a 406 touring shell from peugeot.
Yeah these are mostly fun for bashing mode :D

Tt02 is a great chassis with amazing versatility to form either a touring car or rally car or off road buggy. I have a honda nsx rolling tt01 for sale looks kinda like a ferrari. Its blue.
