Great video Matt,as I said you really are the best puzzle solver regarding vending machines errors. I don’t operate these machines, but I learnt something from you today. Have a great week buddy, and regards to your family, stay safe 😻
I learned the hard way when I was filming - with fuses in my video lights. Tandy's = Radioshack in USA advised to change my glass fuses to ceramic - as they lasted longer so I bought ten of them. Sadly I was no longer vending by then so it was a lesson learned.
@@GalaxyGames843 Radio Shack was known as Tandy's & sold all the components needed to fix things. When I got into the media industry I had all the stuff I needed. We had another competitor called Dick Smith's who flew a chopper to the south pole - he was bought out by Woolworths who went from Hobbyist / Pro stuff to bloody expensive white goods & big screen TVs. I go online for what I need now.
Great vid!! I have the same machine at one of my locations. I’ve tried to figure out how to replace the light bulb but can’t figure out how to remove it. Any and all tips on how to do this would be greatly appreciated
I have a Dixie Narco 368 and I only have 1 column that says ‘try another selection’, I took everything out of the column and everything looks good. Is there a fuse for each column? I’m trying to figure all of this out on my own, but there’s not much information on the 368 online
My DN 501E Live display isn't showing change when I add it to the machine. Like when I put a quarter in, it doesnt do the count up like 25 cents, 50 cents, 75 etc to a dollar. However its still putting the change in the correct place, etc. Everything else seems to be working fine. Do you think this is a brain issue or coin acceptor issue?? Also the coin changer isn't full as I just purchased this machine. Great video BTW im gonna check all mine soon!

One of your best. So impressed by your knowledge
Thank you!!!!
This vending machine really reminds me my childhood days in middle east.
What kinds of items were in it???

We actually still have a radio shack. But today Ace hardware was closer

I have a video I did a while back of installing an LED assembly instead - I prefer it in these machines!
@@GalaxyGames843 I’ll check it out. Thank you very much
When I get the required amped for my machine but the fuse blows immediately I put the power in
What device are you using to measure the fuses?
I use a digital multimeter to check continuity on fuses

There is not a separate fuse for each column. Is this one of the older single price machines? Or one of the newer multiprice machines?
@@GalaxyGames843 The older single price machine, it’s only giving that message on slot #7. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer me!
@@simplyscripture5030 my guess would be a motor issue or possibly an issue with the sold out switch
Awesome video!
Thanks!!! Haven't seen ya in a while! Thanks for stopping by!!!
Do you have a way i can show you if this is the case on my Dixie Narco?
You can email me at galaxygames843@gmail.com
I gotta do this right now
Glad the video helped you!

Does it vend when you put the correct amount in?
No it drops all the way to the coin return and not the coin changer.
@@GalaxyGames843 no it drops the change All the way to the coin return In the front door . Any advice?
@@ethansartor5449 you may have a bad coin mech
Or might not be locked completely when you closed it
What happens when it’s only one flavor? Not in service!
Could be that column is jammed or also could be that the button membrane is starting to go bad
@@GalaxyGames843
I reset the cam and it homed. I still get a not in service message when I select that flavor.
Cool video man you got a fake dot in your comments
Thank you and Thank you!
@@GalaxyGames843 was a great one
The prices for the fuses are so high !! Save money and use a aluminum foil next time !! ( you know it´s only a joke from Germany )
Lol 😂😂😂
Great video but your camera moved so much it made me nauseous to watch!
Sorry about that!
TOASTY!
I was wondering how many would get the reference!
