Another interpretation of AUM in Sanskrit:
A = Akara (which includes all the shapes and forms in creation)
U = Ukara (which includes all the formless entities)
M = Makara (which includes everything beyond the form and the formless)
So this sound includes everything, nothing and beyond everything and nothing within itself.

This is an amazing explanation. After meditation I say the words OM (pronounced as AUM) then followed by saying Amen 3 times. I didn't know it's the same. I added Amen as my intuition said so. Wow! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for sharing this video.

Serpent Sapiens do you have the source to back up that Amen means so let it be in the darkness?

The sound "Om" comes from projecting any signal over a spherical object. A Sphere is the entirety of life. Consider the diameter of a sphere. You are born at one point of the diameter and attain salvation at the other point of the diameter. The emptiness inside the sphere is the possible paths you can take to attain salvation. Salvation if attained before death, will enable the person to illuminate his future!. So, he will take the right path to salvation. Open your third eye and learn truth!.

AUM: What does AUM mean? Why is AUM important?
AUM is like A,B,C to Z letters in English are source of language, which in turn makes prose, words, paragraphs, language etc. But in divine language only these 3 letters A-U-M are source of all sastras, puranas, Vedas etc.

+Pramod Hari It's not Hindu but Sanatan Dharma. Please let this be a non made mistake now and in future, their is no hindu as religion nor human. We are Indians or as it was historically Bharatiyon. Jai Hind for all Indians allover the world. I don't see religion in the world but i see Sanatans which means Eternal. In first place i would say Indians are spiritual instead of religious because we honor the science of nature in it's different form. Isn't that beautiful, and we do not attack other so called religions.

    Namaskār ācārya ji,
Many thanks for making a video that is very easy to understand AND subtitled, as I am deaf and would have to lip read without subtitles.
I would like to ask clarification for the syllable, aum or om. It is my understanding that the m is really an underdotted "m," such as ṃ so that it is written sometimes as auṃ or oṃ. This means that in Saṃskṛtam, it is written as औं or ओं, respectively. Also, this means that the vowel sound, as indicated by the ṃ letter, is supposed to be nasalized with no "m" "virama-ized" termination. I understand ṃ to not end the syllable as the "m" in the letter m, but to nasalize it before starting the next syllable with the next consonant sound in a longer word, for instance. Reading it tells me to say it as (nasalized) "au" or "o." Please explain which is which.
    Many thanks.

Mark Winston Suits There's no difference between Aum and Om. Its just the sanskrit translation is Aum. + A and U together make the sound O. Hence being also known as om.

In nummeric of the Quran according the quran expert we have also Om , but not littarely.

Dear Dr. and Master Acharya Shree,
Namaste! Does 'Aum' / 'Ohm' / 'Om' has anything to do with the Romanian 'Om', presumably created by phonetic accident from Classic Latin (--> Vulgar Latin)? I ask *because* I am Romanian, and that my History class taught me, as it seems,.. a lie.
    Dhanyavad!

sir one question in physics there is proven theory that no mass or energy can be created nor destruct . so maheswor means that power by whose virtue a matter change its state. eg if a person dies he is not destructed his physical mass has changed into other form may be soil if he is burried.

+Acharya Shree Yogeesh Pranaam Guru ji, how can we chant the AUM wihtout sound? To activate the, or one of the chakra's we have to vibrate the powers by chanting the powers with a long A, U or M. I feel good vibes when i chant short AU and long M. I like your video's very much, thank you for your wisdom Swami.

You know nothing of Sanatan Dharma, you are not correct, You are a PK of Amir Khan.
It is not AUM in Sanskrit but O and another script which does not exist in Roman script, but certainly it is not M.
It is almost like ONG, not AUM
Brahma, Vishnu, are not The GOD, but devas. Siva was a gate-crasher, not mentioned in the revealed scripture, Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagwat Gita
The GOD in Hinduism is Brahman, the one creator.

Aum is Allahumma in Islam. A comes from AAH, U comes from Huu and M is said as Ma , so if you put it together you will have AahHuma, but in Islam we have Allahumma wich means O Allah in arabic. , and Allahumma is the introduction of every supplication which is called in arabic a Dua. Aum is also seen as the introduction of the universe , the beginning of the universe.A is the birthplace of all mantra's, the source. so Allah is the source and the beginning of everything. Aah has all qualities of light, becous 'aah' 'om' and 'Hum' are three in one 'Aah' and Aah is seed sound of crown chakra which is collection of all chakra's. & in islam Allah has 100 qualities according to the Quraan. So Allah is the only God you need to worship , Shame on you !
