A high definition (1080P) MP4 version of Pranava can be purchased for download at: www.awakentheworld.com
Do you find our films valuable? Please consider becoming a patron and support us at / awakentheworld . Or make a one-time donation at www.paypal.me/samadhicenter.
Your donations and purchases will help to support the "Awaken the World Initiative" so that future films can be released for free for the benefit of humanity.
Check out www.samadhi.ca for meditation retreats and materials related to meditation.
Pranava is the original vibration of the universe that is dancing your life into being. If you feel a resonance calling you back to your inner nature, to the Source of creation, then you have the seed of dharma or wisdom. To re-establish the balance between the inner and outer worlds is what the Buddha called the middle way, and what Aristotle called the Golden Mean, what Lao Tsu called the silent balance between Yin and Yang.
The animation and deep voice chanting was done by Daniel Schmidt and female voice by Eva Dametto. Also check out the documentary "Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds" at www.awakentheworld.com.
For those asking how yantra and mantra meditation works... A yantra or mantra is a tool or mechanism for awakening inner energy and consciousness simultaneously. The mantra is simply the audible form of the visual yantra- the two are not separate; it is only our senses that filter the vibratory world. Simply be fully present and conscious, while at the same time removing all resistance to the phenomena you experience (gross and subtle sensations, visuals, sounds, thoughts, emotions, etc.). Do not try to DO anything, think anything or make anything happen, but observe reality as it actually is with a still and unmoving mind. This combination of presence and surrender to what IS, is the essence of meditation.
Pranava was created as part of the film Inner Worlds Outer Worlds. Frequently asked questions about the film and Pranava:
    1) Can I download the film and upload it to my own TH-cam Channel?
A: We whole-heartedly encourage everyone to share the existing TH-cam links with their friends, embed on their website, or to create screenings for their community. I'm afraid we cannot allow you to re-upload the film to your own channel for the following reasons:
    a) The content itself is copyrighted and is owned by REM Publishing Ltd. Some of the video clips in the film are licensed under certain agreements and cannot be distributed or controlled by third parties.
    b) Several individuals have already tried to re-upload the film and to monetize their channel and/or make a profit from selling the film without our permission, or simply to try to build subscribers for their own channel. We don't always know what people's true motivation is (and sometimes neither do they).
    c) Our channel contains closed captions in many languages and we don't want versions of the film floating around without these professional translations.
    d) When users subscribe to the AwakenTheWorldFilm channel we can provide people future films as we release them. This is just the first of many films and our second is already in the works.
    e) Our channel also provides links to our website and Facebook page and the opportunity for people to donate to the Awaken the World initiative. Money/ support is needed to make these films, and while we make them available for free, we really appreciate when people donate, offer translation skills or other support.
If you add the existing TH-cam links to a playlist you can still share the film with your friends and viewers and still have it as part of your channel, just do not upload your own version. We greatly appreciate people who feel so strongly about the content that they want to share and spread the film, and hope that you will continue to do so.
    2) Where can I find a screening/ workshop/ meditation retreat etc.
A: Check out www.samadhi.ca for meditation retreats and materials related to meditation.

Pranava means generally the same thing as AUM; the primordial sound. When we bring consciousness to our inner world we learn from experience that certain sounds create resonance within the body. Usually the sounds that create the most inner resonance are vowel sounds. In some traditions AUM is used, some AMUN, Hallelujah, Yaweh, or the Ayurvedia chakra sounds (uh, oo, oh, ah ay, aye, ee). If you draw out any of these they all sound similar. Here we are using our intuition and inner feeling.

new things, new sensations, and especially spiritual novelty can bring powerful alterations in the body phisiology. I experienced heart beat skip, connected to "positive" events as well as startling ones.
Sometimes, if you are new to "spiritual" events, like meditation, concentration, or even visualizing with closed eyes, having intense dreams, etc... can trigger a little panic, and that's just because it's a "new thing" for you. Finally it can be cleansing processes, a letting go of fears! :)

The sacred feminine/yang on the other hand is the exact opposite of the two sided coin of creation: soft, gentle (instead of rough), slow, passionate, romantic, creative, intuitive, calm, tranquil, dark, black, darkness, cold, blue.

After years of rather undisciplined meditation, somehow, without awareness of deep commitment, the Awakening series with this meditation as practice has changed my attention and commitment to it for the goal of Awakening. I use it every day, and although it is not the aim to find something special I'd like to periodically share my experiences. Each time in the last few months, the visuals change. Sometimes seeing it in 3D, or a moment "stops"....or seeing the Buddha in the centre, a darker pinpoint or a much larger colourful figure and once, having a sudden understanding and resolution of a long time difficulty.
Apart from the experience while watching the video, my attitude towards life is changing in very positive ways, a good example is that after 18 months of trying to stop prescribed benzodiazepines I stopped with minimal withdrawals symptoms. Positive change happens at the level of thinking and feeling which is achieved through inner "noticing", at first. Anyone else like to share if using this video?

To Stefano Ragliati, I am curious about the "problems". Since I mentioned both meditation and withdrawals I wonder if this is what you meant. Either way, it would be great to share.

Yes bro, many years of ill disciplined meditation and repeating failures has me like a rag doll ,and like yourself ; meditating on the breath, the body and the feelings has helped me immensely in the meaningful practice of mindfulness .I don't look at the visuals- like searching for something Concentration and insight and " engagement " with the " void" the " grandiosity and emptiness " narcissism ,and omnipotence, Maybe check this out and read carefully might help bud.. I feel that these mantras can rebalance your chakras. I have listened to all the little and I felt vibrations in the heart, as shown it touched the chakra and not the organ. I also felt the green and purple colors, I think it is not a coincidence ;)

I really love this. The very first time I heard it, it was a profoundly moving experience. My only comment would be that I'd love to hear a version without the female accompaniment. Somehow the female voice (lovely though it is) detracts from the depth of this production. Perhaps a separate track with harmonised female voices would work well, but for this particular piece, I wanted to become completely immersed in the vibrational depths of the male chant and higher level female accompaniment prevented that and brought a certain human element to a spiritual experience. The simplicity of the chant is sufficient without embellishment - it is wonderful.
