It was literally half my life ago I was watching this show...when I was 16. Arguably the most perfect age ever to be absorbed into bleach / naruto. The bittersweet guitar segue just before the first verse begins really speaks to the true romantic pain of the teenage experience. It's just like I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS AND MOST OF THEM ARE SAD.

I was 9 years old when this anime dropped and me and my older sister decided to sneek and watch it when we visited our cousins. Lol i was hooked and this opening brings back great memories for me
I may not have been a teenager in the very early 2000's, but i was about 6 to 8 when i was enjoying this piece of my childhood, i am so glad i always opened that huge, ear rining black box TV in my room and not behaving.. valuable memories were made after 12 at night where Cartoon Network used to be. I must have at least 2 memories i can recall with the aid of a trigger from that time in my life, only naturally given my age i suppose. But certainly, this is one of them, and it is part of me. My flesh, bones, my very skin layers, none are the same as back then. Everything changed, i grew up, but the memory remained intact. Even on my worst days while growing up, and i will face it. Growing up certain things seemed like the end of the world, they affect us differently but even so, even when i felt alone in my developing mind, unaware of it all, this little memory or Bleach itself had always been with me, merging with me. It must be one of my favorite things about the experience of being human. Cheery and little, Lonely and growing, Coordonated and grown. I look at my palm, and see my life being traced by the song.
