I feel very sorry for the old cult openings that many people know, but because music services weren't popular back then, they're so low in these kinds of tops. But I think Idol fully deserves its ratings, one of the best anime openings in terms of music, as well as many other modern songs.

there are some newer ones that would stomp about half of this list, but somehow not really popular. the most underrated OP of all time i ever seen is Fairy Tail OP7 Evidence by Daisy x Daisy. NOBODY mention this one in any tops, even subjective ones or tops for that anime, but its in fact one the most beautiful OPs ever, its like twin sister of Angel Beats OP. the full version is absolute masterpiece and one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard, not just anime songs, of all songs. we must share this one more, otherwise we risking to lose the battle for humanity's soul one day...
