This combines a few parts from the official full version of Asterisk and from the Bleach Opening version. Since the OST/Official version differs quite a lot from the Opening version (synths too loud and overwhelm guitar), the goal here was to create a "better" full version from the two.

Love that this was done. Think the last chorus should just be kept in from the worse full version of the song. You can hear the transition between the two versions, and I think the high energy version from the full version probably makes for a bigger finish to the song even with the wrong instruments.

Honestly bleach had a lot of banger openings. But this is still my favorite, maybe its just nostalgia but either way i still love it even 18 years later. Cant wait for it to continue

I've been looking for this one everywhere, the alternate version is nowhere as guitar driven as the original here.
Agree this more rockier version is way cooler, but the one that Orange Range put out as a single isn't too bad. I feel in some ways its better than this version. It feels a lot more epic and powerful, but maybe thats just coz its a full song and this is just a snippet of one.
much prefer this one. the other version sounds too clean and “corporate” if that makes sense
@@yellowandlimegrat4724 the album version is too overproduced. this is just more effective as a song I'd want to put on loop. I love hard rockin' tunes, but vibes-wise, the TV version just hits a lot better.

Stellar mix. The op version was always the one I preferred overall and this takes probably the best parts of the original version and the mixing is just seamless.

I think Orange Range knew how good the op version was so they left it alone. That's why the full single is way different than the op version for Bleach. They're keeping the good one from us

Just started watching bleach this year and the songs of this anime sounds like from the classic naruto songs it gives me some kind of naruto nostalgia.
Thanks for making this!! I'm personally not a big fan of the original's key change at the last chorus, and I find myself listening to the TV version more since I like how it sounds, so this is very useful! It's like a combination of what I like and wanted to hear from both versions.

A bit of a late comment, but, in my opinion, you could've just let the rest of the OST version play out in the last verse and up until the end. I feel like that transition from the bridge is smoother, and also, the end of the song would be more natural, as opposed to the seemingly abrupt end of the anime opening version. Otherwise nice mix between the two.

Hmm, having heard Asterisk both in its full album format, and its Anime Opening version, I can't help but feel this is both songs tacked onto each other with the opening starting off and then just delivering the album version for the most part.
The opening verse, for example, is repeated at the beginning, anime version first and then the album version itself, really.
Then it's the album version soon after and it dominates the majority of this song, only cutting off before the final refrain so's not ro appear obvious.
Granted it's enjoyable definitely but it comes off t9 me as an obvious edit job more than anything else.
My two cents, nothing more and nothing else.
