  • Hilarious football podcast with Viv Anderson, talking about his time at Arsenal, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest winning the European Cup in back to back seasons.
Viv also talks about playing under some notable managers, such as Brian Clough, George Graham, Sir Alex Ferguson, Bobby Robson and Terry Venables. He tells how Gazza was dragged off the pitch after consuming too many Redbull energy drinks. He also tells some hilarious stories about one player stealing the team bus and what happened when Bobby Robson had to borrow Glen Hoddle's boots.
Fore Four 2 Podcast is a podcast hosted by ex professional footballer John Mcginlay and Liam Harrison From GolfMates.

Liam and John - Viv was my second of these "shows" (I do not think any other word sums up the fantastically entertaining, informative, and captivating viewing). Keep doing what you are doing - nobody is close to you both for making us feel like we are chatting to these legends in the Clubhouse after a friendly but competitive game of golf. What about Sir Kenny Dalglish?

I was in the Stretford Paddock when he took that knock on the ankle. He's right. He was never really fit again. It was a shame because everyone really respected him and all wanted him to do well. It's easy to see why he was seen as such a positive influence and someone good to have around when you're in the shit.
The world loves Viv Anderson and you can tell.

Clough was the best type of manager - 'hands off' administrator, people manager/motivator, team coordinator, resource manager, business manager. That's all. And that's all he needed to be. Love the story when he paid for the player's 'recreation' with the ladies of the night! In modern woke times this would be unthinkable.

I really enjoyed this. Better intro this week Liam! Viv had some great anecdotes. He was a trailblazer. Thanks lads for giving the guess time to answer. Headline was wrong though as he chose Clough in the end!

As a thirteen year old I can still hear the spider, spider, spider chants coming from the Trent end. Viv Anderson is a legend!!!
