I've seen more of your recent videos pop up on my feed but they're all hours long and I just can't dedicate that much time to even play in the background. Norway's unique building, the Stave Church, grants +1 production on all coastal resources. This synergizes with the lighthouse which grants +1 food on all coastal tiles. The better balanced game mod, which is very common in multiplayer Civ VI, also buffs Norway to gain a +2 adjacency bonus on harbors for an adjacent holy site. As a result, Norway strongly prefers harbors to inland play. The general game plan for Norway is to go holy site + harbor in every city. You go Choral Music as one of your religious beliefs to grant bonus culture on all shrines and temples. This is great on Norway, because you're already incentivized to build your unique temple in as many cities as possible. You go Monumentality as your first golden age dedication, choose Moksha as your first governor (assuming you're using the BBG mod), and put holy sites everywhere (See my video "How Religious Civs Dominate Civ 6 Multiplayer" for more details on what this looks like). The reason you choose Choral Music as your religious belief is largely to bolster your culture, as spending your first two district slots on a harbor and holy site in most of your cities makes it hard to fit theater squares in. By planning your districts to take advantage of the extra adjacency bonus Norway gets on their harbors from adjacent holy sites and rushing for Naval Tradition so you can get the policy card to double harbor adjacency, you can get a massive free inquiry golden age after your first monumentality golden age comes to a close. Your holy site buildings grant you culture thanks to the Choral Music religious belief and your harbors grant you science thanks to Free Inquiry, so it all works together to make your stats really strong and well-rounded.
well, BBM mod grants that you'll spawn next to water as those civs, while usually you could just spawn in the middle of the continent playing as england. Not only that, but certain things such as magnus changes in BBG are very important for those civs. So yeah, the mod buffs them
Thanks for the video. I am an amateur player and I wonder does the navy units do any good? I mean as military units? I heard that they are pretty useless? Is that true? Is it always better to do ground units than navy military units or have some leader have perks that would build more navy military units? Thanks for you tips :)
With all the powerful production bonuses and even better with the 2 for 1 monument england is the perfect civ to dominate the the seas and enforce your will over cities on and near the coast

I know there has been England and Scotland when you run into their respective empires, but it seems weird how there hasn’t been a British civilisation as the British Empire was the largest in history. Would be able to have British leaders like Winston Churchill. It could also serve to separate Britain from England as this would make Victoria a British Leader option but earlier monarchs could represent England.

As a civ 6 player i really hate your elitist view of yourself and other multiplayer players kind of looking down on singleplayers just because you chose to create a community mod buffing and nerfing diff aspects of the game.
Religious civs are almost exclusively, and quite harshly nerfed though. TBH That is the biggest balancing done by the mod, bringing them in line with everything else so a varied meta can exist.
That is simply because the vanilla Gameplay is not balanced for multiplayer whatsoever. The mod makes the game way more balanced and more enjoyable and more competitive.
