what’s up everyone! This is just a small peak into some of the drills I’ve done to train SAQ for myself and that I use for players I train. Hope you enjoy and let me know YOUR favorite drill. Hope this helps some of you who have been asking about form, mechanics, speed, agility, and quickness training for soccer or running!

I remember doing this stuff offseason just for fun. I used to be able to do footwork for days bro but I'm "retired" lol I do it every so often for cardio, used to be a beast but off time catches up to me hahaha.

Did you tried to decrease the video speed? I know it's ugly but at least you can see the drils.

If you click on the "settings" icon ( it looks like a "cog",) in the bottom right corner of the video screen, you will see a menu that says "Playback Speed" and you can slow the video down. Hope this helps.
Bruh I too share a similar history. I came to America for college on a track/soccer grant from Africa as well. Unfortunately had personal problems in college and couldn't dedicate time as much to training but I played professional soccer and used to run sub 22s for 200, my best being 21:40s for the 200m. These drills remind me of soccer lessons back in highschool. I just got into triathlon this year and boy your videos about running are so good. You are a legend.

Hellah! Please go onto TH-cam today and search up “Floris gierman” and watch his videos he’s done with runners. They use the Maffetone method and so do I(also worth buying the big book of endurance training and racing by dr Phil maffetone) and honestly the progress I’ve made since starting this is phenomenal! My 5k like 4months ago was like 18:47, now I can run a sub18 5k! I’m doing a parkrun on Saturday so I’ll let you know how I run but in my 10k yesterday my first 5k was a 18:17 and it felt easy! Just thought I’d let you know because you’re putting in so many miles and I don’t think it’s fair that you’re at basically 20mins for a 5k, you should be at 18mins so if you try the maffetone method you’ll get much faster!!

Hey Hellah! I’m a footballer (soccer) and I want to get more lean and shredded cause I think that’d really improve my speed and stamina. I’m 16 rn and have pretty bulky muscles and I weigh 75kg and 178cm tall. Around 4 years ago I was skinny and really really fast, but now I have much more bulky muscle and I’m not so fast and agile anymore compared to my teammates/opponents. I think I’d benefit from doing what you did when you were “too” big, losing muscle. I think I’d be faster and more agile since I don’t weigh as much. How should I do?

thank you! do 80% of you runs in preparation as a conversational pace and try to do one tempo run a week which should only be 10% of your training and one steady and one hard run. Hopefully that will help prepare you best! that's what I'm working on for the marathon!
