I’m from the US living in Iceland. 1. Winters in Reykjavík are worse. 2. Summers in Reykjavík are worse. 3. I say F You to my home country everyday. The things happening there disgust me, so I understand you so well. I want to move to Copenhagen so bad. Corruption in Iceland is crazy. It’s like they’re aspiring to be like American politicians.

One question: what is the difference between permanent and EU non permanent residency?
For us? It's more about having a second layer of security.
In the very unlikely event of Hungary deciding to leave the EU, we could just continue living here without a problem. I do not think that this would happen, but with the kids I just wanna play it safe.

hey nice channel. I discovered you thru vegan/japan stuff but really enjoying your other content. As an Aussie I loved Copenhagen, however I don't know if I could handle the winters
I lived in Melbourne for ~6 years and while the winters are definitely shorter, I really do not miss the poorly insulated houses in the cold months...

You are right. Getting PR was mostly an extra layer of security for us, just in case things go really bad for Hungary in the EU.
It is very unlikely, but with kids and all, I just wanna play it safe.
