Best things out of Denmark

- I collected a few danish inventions that you might not have heard of or didn't know that come from this tiny country. I also eat one of these weird inventions for the first time ever.
Denmark is an innovation powerhouse and it has been for quite some time now. And while the Danes invented Lego and produced a lot of insulin, there are many other great and more recent ideas coming out of this small Scandinavian country.
In this video, I talk about inventions within the food, tech and software industries.

"rubrødsmotor" (ryebread motor) is kind of danish saying.
If there is no motor assist, or help, not just for a bike, but for anything, you have to rely on your rugnrødsmotor - aka your body, and own strength.
GGs, cool to see a list that hasn't been repeated in dozens of articles in the years since "hygge" became an export. Lurpak though, pls. No innovation there, just a necessity for rye bread. Dry rye is kinda like spreading Marmite as if it were jam; feels bad man lol.
What if I told you that I eat vegemite/marmite w out butter? 👀
But yeah I got some slack for the no-butter pålaeg from others too haha
@@viktor-farkas Sacrilege! Tie him to a stake and baste him on both sides. Nah jokes aside, it's more that we're rather fond of our butter, according to the heart disease numbers. Some of us maybe also been poor enough at some stage that butter was the topping. So if we forego anything, it ain't the butter. When the last week of the month was dry toast with half a tea spoon of sugar for 2 of the 3 daily meals - butter finds a nostalgic luxury when we get old. Great video btw - the chickpea flødeboller made me feel like a boomer though - 'ah the things we can do these days'.

Best thing out of Denmark is by far 'Metallica' created And kept "Alive" by Lars Ulrich. 😉
