Number 30 got me I’m in tears reading about those poor kids being abused. I’m a mum & as all parents know kids can b challenging but 2 do this 2 a bairn is just pure cruelty 😢😢
That intro. The distorting audio of it in reference to Scavengers. That extended and digital versions of Rot. The new and old ads upscaled. Bravo, Loogi. Bravo. 👏 An Australia and New Zealand/Oceania version, potentially? Lots of old and new ones for the books.
Those testimonials PIFS were on television when I was 10 years old, and needless to say they scared me off cigarettes for life so I have never touched cigarettes and never will. That little girl on the one about her father having lung cancer would be a grown up by now probably with children of her own, she most likely does not smoke because of what happened to her father. I always wondered what Colleen's job was.
I know I've come a bit late, but excellent countdown loogi! Glad to see the PIF community is still up and running, and thanks for contributing to it so much, your videos really are a joy to watch :D
That action man pif had me in stitches! That can’t be a real pif?! It’s like a Chris Morris or Kevin Bishop piss take on coming home from the army?! I know the subject is no laughing matter, but the way that pif was done looks like a black comedy job!!!!
The testimonial psas had me crying. I have pretty thick skin when it comes to psa but these (especially Colleen's) had me legitimately sobbing, I feel so bad...
It reminded me of my grandad's brother. He quit smoking when his first grandchild was born ( about 15/16 years ago) and he hasn't gone back but it still has caused devastating effects to his health today, he has to eat through a tube & can barely speak. He's in his late 70's & is one of the kindest people I've ever met.
Absolutely brilliant - worth the wait. Wasn’t expecting #1 but definitely a great and underrated pick. Great compilation as always, brilliant picks! Clearly a lot of time has gone into this one!
I thought Top 30 European PSA's 2 was the best edited video, this is just amazing and visuals are just too good! (also, The Number 1 pick was very unexpected.)
Glad you liked it! I didn't really go too hard on the visual effects for this video, as I have only really just started getting used to editing on PC with this video. I'll definitely try some more extreme visual effects at some point though. Lastly, as I know that you'll probably be awaiting me saying this, I'll give you permission to do a Kill Count on this video. I'm curious to see how many there are.
Thank you! I'm very glad you enjoyed this video! I'm in the middle of trying to make a new video at the moment. However, this one has proven surprisingly difficult to make. I've been very burnt out and even when I want to work on a video, I'm really struggling to make something I'm happy with. Despite the difficulties, the burnout, and the 6 month absence, just know that there is still more content to come for this channel. I promise.
Well worth the wait. A very surprising selection for No.1 I will say. I also was surprised Antarctica by Greenpeace missed out, since that is the definition of horror. Nonetheless a fantastic compilation of PIFs and PSAs and looking forward to seeing more in 2023.
Thanks very much for uploading these; I consider myself a bit of an armchair expert in PIFs and yet I saw a lot of new ones here. The most disturbing one for me is either any of the AIDS films, or the Action Man series. I've never been in war but I do have PTSD and that accurately depicts what it can be like for many sufferers.
Funnily enough, the idea of having the "II" in the title instead of "2" was partially inspired by the title/logo design for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (which had only just come out when I was making this video). In the end, I stuck with it because I thought that "II" looked better in the titlecard.
I wonder if those children enjoyed playing with those action men on those battlefield causalities PIFS? I mean not only are you on television but you get to play with action men, I mean what more do you want?
I am glad we have a common No. 1. I honestly find them, while not obscure enough to be "underrated," as I have seen them in notable lists, but they haven't really been No. 1 before, even though they honestly imo have been more disturbing than stuff like Sunday Lunch, Children Don't Bounce Back, literally the other British PSAs. Boy and Girl from Doctors Without Borders are THE most disturbing PSAs/PIFs that the British made imo, and the audio itself would be more than enough to warrant a top 10 personally.
Growing up in the uk, I vividly remember some of these playing on tv, but I had no clue that they got this fucking dark. I unironically almost vomited multiple times. Fantastic compilation though.
2:10:42 i want to see the uncensored version of the PIF. Please let me know if you really find the explicit version of the clip cause i really wanna see it, okay?
I'm well aware it wasn't from 2002. I made this mistake in both this video and the original 100 PIFs countdown I made. It actually aired from December 1994, through 1995, until early 1996.
It's called "The Pearl" by Harold Budd & Brian Eno, & I agree, it's a great soundtrack. Especially since it suits the PIF so well. th-cam.com/video/qySCf2ovWJc/w-d-xo.html
his parents were murdered and his sisters were raped. The doctors are currently treating him. It discusses the egregious war crimes committed in very unstable parts of the world
Nice one, Loogi can you tell HelloImAPizzaToo to make One Of The Adverts From Top 10 Favourite Commercials because Hannelie Schutte iPad can’t stay there forever on Photos
22:36 "So I talked to this dealer, and he said it's all about the profit, AND MAKING SURE NO ONE MESSES WITH US ‼️‼️‼️"
I love that one.

The music sounded like something straight out of Irreversible and I love and hate it at the same time

This was great. There were many of these PIFs I’ve never seen before.
Why you like watching these?
@@yuchoen9706 It’s hard to explain. They’re just fascinating to me, and many of them have such twists they’re like mini Twilight Zone episodes.

I'm glad that you think it was worth the 5 month wait. I put a lot of time into this video, & it had quite a few major setbacks. Thanks.
Who needs horror films when we have pifs?
that army psa was really clever.

Excellent countdown thanks for that
Excellent compilation. Very beautiful! It's nice to see that you can inspire people to do something like this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
yeah, good choices of pif that you put, but oh man, that are so many warnings.
15:03 If Balin tells you not to smoke , you do not smoke
Man idk why but the thumbnail would work for some sort of Call of Duty DLC. Great video and an even better thumbnail 😍🤞

I've only evry seen the first of the "Unhooked" campaign. I dodn't know there were others.
Really good choices, well done.

Where can you find the uncensored PSA for the Third World Debt?
What was that very first one? I've tried searching for it but haven't found it.
Growing up in the uk, I vividly remember some of these playing on tv, but I had no clue that they got this fucking dark. I unironically almost vomited multiple times. Fantastic compilation though.
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Poor people with poor decisions
Number two, baby!
Save Good Vídeo
21:24 number 79, never seen that. How did you come across it?
Found it on Vimeo while looking for the PIF before it.
The one about cancel the third world debt is sad tbh
What's the one in the opening at the start with the kids and the railway cable? I would love to see that in full
1:32:07
I did not expect to see a girl being stripped to her bra and pants in a PIF - the ad was powerful enough already. Unnecessary.
What's the source for the PIF in the intro?
It appears later on in the video - 1:32:10
@@LoogiBalloogi I realised that after I got as far 😅 Thanks for the reply anyway, you make some really excellent content, keep it up!
Can you provide the link for number 2?
Here you go. However, be warned, it is extremely graphic:

I'll release it eventually, but it will be in the description of the video when it's out.
good to hear, I really do wanna see Home Office and Concentration Camp uncensored
@@CodfishsIdeaOutlet Trust me, you don't lmao. Editing them was painful enough.
@@CodfishsIdeaOutlet you don't. It is nauseating, shivering and all around an absolute horror.
the soundtrack on that fire kills advert with the breathing is proper Aphex Twin-esque and I love it

What's the point of number 2 if you're going to censor every frame?
