The last one gets me, every time I see it. I love it to be honest, it's a great reminder to not assume someone is happy from how they act. smiles mean more than they seem to. it is quite genius how it is presented. it starts and you are enjoying watching others laughing and smiling, then it is revealed that they have all passed away, and then you are shown more people laughing and smiling, and you realise, how you have no clue how much you don't know about these people, and you have no clue how little the people around them know about them
what's devastating about the last one is that shortly before suicide, people often have a period of enhanced mood which gives people around them false reassurance
this boost is caused by internal relief/peace as the individual has come to terms with their death and/or they know suffering will soon be over
PSA 21 Made me cry. My mom was abused as a child and she keeps reflecting that on me. I promised myself that I will never be like her.

Just came back to this video and I gotta say, PSA 31 was beautifully heartbreaking.
It was very nicely done.
yeah 31 caught me off guard, originally i saw the guy bald and thought "Oh he's a chemotherapy patient that explains why he's bald.." I didn't immediately catch the scars on the side of his head looked like skin graft replacements. it wasn't until right at the end when he made mention that he was a burn victim that it made more sense. Sometimes you don't have to be so in your face to make a really strong point and that's definately one of those cases.
the eyemoney one was so unsettling, and the jewish hate ones actually made me really emotional - i didn’t even know that antisemitism was on the rise right now. i’m not jewish but i want to thank the organisation for making those psas and spreading awareness about it.
also the twelfth one made me physically sick.
Anti-semitism is especially on the rise because of the Israel-Palestine genocide. Israel is a mainly Jewish country, so people use it as an excuse for their anti semitism.
I continuously forget about anti-antisemitism still being a problem, also, why the fuck are people saying hitler was right??? he was against more than jewish people, he was against anyone who wasn't white, he forced gay people to identify themselves with a pink triangle (now reclaimed) and generally was awful to more people than just the jewish homies
most of the time we get this hate from pro Palestine people who think that all Jews are evil or something we can't even attend universities anymore cause the protesters block us out

PSA 32 does pull at your heartstrings,
PSA 23 feels squeamish but does communicate how harrowing maternal mortality feels.
PSA 15 communicates well, although I imagined “as the cost of pork rises in your wallet, so does the real cost of where it comes from.”
PSA 9 makes you feel helpless, and hits hard at the very end too.
PSA 25 definitely plays with your imagination and shows the sobering reality of not preparing for disaster.
PSA 28 is the most lighthearted, comedic sendup of “please donate or else”.

These newer PSAs failed in a few ways: they had failed gaining my attention, creating shock, and also most of these psas had just shown me the problem, instead of really making it a shock. Also they have an atmosphere that really made me bored, the background music really ruined the 'fast food ads' commercial for me, as an example. Really not impactful comp so far.
Always nice to see a new upload on this channel, the compilations are always good, and the editing is way too underrated.

I was shocked by the words of the last one and had to go back and rewatch it. I was fine rewatching it. And then it ended, and I'm crying like a baby and shaking... as someone that's been in that position, multiple times, I'm so thankful that I was never successful. I was only 13/14, and now sitting here in my college dorm, I've never been more thankful that I failed every time

As someone who used to have suicidal thoughts, the last psa really got to me. If I didn't get the help I needed, this is how my family would have to see me every day (luckily, I never attempted or even harmed myself but it could have been a possibility)
Those last ones by the end were like feature length films! Very well directed and shot!

@@pookiepringles I read a study once, don't know if it's true, but a group of people had been asked or something and it was found that women are far more likely to be abusive in their relationships. Especially lesbian ones. While men in straight/gay relationships were less likely to be or not at all abusive. It was rather skewed considering the differing stuff with people and I'd prefer if they redid it, but regardless, it's an interesting study that says a lot.

One thing that's definitely getting to me in this compilation is the antisemitism awareness ones. I'm not Jewish nor have I really been raised around people who are, but I have definitely noticed the rise myself and it pissed me off to high end because it is just one of the most gross and unnecessary turns I've seen on a group of people who were doing nothing but existing happen so suddenly. I even had a 16 year old housemate at one point get weirdly invested in Hitler stuff and fortunately it wasn't in what he believed in but just the topic of him, but she was teetering on a thin line a few times and I was so mad each time. Maybe being queer means I have empathy for the unnecessary hate and how fucking vile it is, but I genuinely feel frustration and anger over this stuff rising because of losers who think being offensive for the sake of offense starting up a new wave. This bullshit should be in the past and stay there as an example of something we should never go back to.

The prescription drug one is absoultly disgusting. If i didnt take my meds my kids would have to deal with an always angry and irritated mom. Dont stop taking your meds unless you get the okay. That psa is wrong and disgusting on so many level. Pills are only perscribed if someone NEEDS them
