I agree That's what's missing from this world is follow up. There is a lot of TV and social media geared towards women, telling them what they want to hear, that makes them feel good. No one ever checks up later. It reminds me of when I was watching JPT question a girl who wanted a top dollar man bc she wanted a 200k ring. She had a dating coach (not a match maker) encouraging her in this. My first thought was "who is holding the dating coach accountable?". Which is the reality of the situation, there is no one holding these people accountable.
As a man, my ideal woman has to be making around 10mil a year, contributing 100% to the family income. She has to be loyal and sweet with me, she has to cook and do everything at home. She has to have enough time for raising the childern and to make me feel special every day. I still want my freedom to spend time with other women and my friends.

Manifesting is fine but how much work or effort they are actually trying to put in to get a husband, the answer is probably none. Faith without works is dead. Reminds me of a documentary called "7 Up" (or something along those lines) that interviewed a specific handful of 7 year old children in the Britain in the 60s and checked in on them every 7 years to see what their life was like and how they changed. One of the most fascinating documentaries I've ever seen. The best participant story was one woman who was all anti-establishment punk vibes as a teenager and then when we see her at about 30 years old she's a quintessential housewife 😂 then 7 years later she's divorced 😔. I haven't seen it in years but I recall that when the people reach their 50s/60s most of them had families and were content and just simply pleased with life. I highly recommend the documentary!

I make $60k a year and I've traveled to 8 countries in 6 years. I think the issue is that these women, and many others including men, don't understand how to budget or they don't want to. I've also noticed women like this constantly expect lavish dining experiences or nights out when all I really want is a home cooked dinner and some peace. Wow. These women are all still young, they have no idea what’s coming and what real life is like. In a perfect world Courtney will interview them in 10-15 years from now and rewatch these interviews with them.
They will all adjust though. Life rarely hits you with all the shocks at once - they tend to come in dribs and drabs and you adjust. Being young is about having dreams, and time inevitably takes care of dreams, even the ones that come true.

Stella and Gab are my two favorite contrasting examples. Stella is 23 and Gab is 30, and that 7 year gap is a perfect length of time for a 23 year old to realize this dream life she envisioned is not going to happen. Which is why you can tell Gab is far more grounded when she says things like “Is he funny, can we tell inside jokes? If we can afford it, 3 kids. Oh my jeep is fine.” Whereas Stella is talking about 300k cars, 5000 square foot houses, and spending so much her husband should just make more. That difference is due to the 7 years of life that Gab has on her. She may have had those dreams too at Stella’s age, but life comes at you quick. I wanted to be and do all kinds of things. I wanted to be a pro football player. Wasn’t good enough to go D1 so got a D2 offer. Lost my scholarship when I got in trouble for fighting. Joined the army and figured I’d get out and get my school paid for and then go become a doctor. Wasn’t a good enough student to pass physics, o-chem, and those pre-reqs. Switched my PhD to social sciences to be a college professor. Finished my masters and started teaching undergrad while continuing my PhD. Two semesters in I realized I hate academia. I’m now a federal employee with a GS12 pay level and 70% VA disability. It puts me well over six figures total income, so I’m not hurting. But my life changed drastically many times between when I was in high school thinking I’d go to the NFL and be rich to 15 years later working for the federal government driving a Ford Explorer and living in a condo. That’s life. These chicks haven’t been punched by life yet. Gab is the closest one and you can tell by her approach to the questions. Stella already looks 30 and she’s 23. If she doesn’t land this dude she wants in 3 years, that’s a wrap for her. The reality is simple: these women are going to have to adjust their needs, wants and desires drastically as life continues to happen to them, or they’re going to end up bitter and alone blaming men.

As I watched this, I kept thinking how delusional all of them were except for Gab who answered the questions but made it clear that having someone who made her happy and who she could enjoy life with was what she really valued. To me, her lack of materialism and focus on who someone is over what they make, made her by far the most attractive one. She was the only one of the women who I think would be fun to be friends with or date and who actually would make a good partner.

When some residencies during interview season openly brag about the rigors of their program by citing divorce statistics among their own residents, then you know that being married during such a tumultuous time is a big gamble.
I’m a lawyer who raked some decent $ when I came out of school. If you marry (I did, but I wouldn’t if I were your age) make sure you choose someone in your own tax bracket. Reminds me of a documentary called "7 Up" (or something along those lines) that interviewed a specific handful of 7 year old children in the Britain in the 60s and checked in on them every 7 years to see what their life was like and how they changed. The best participant story was one woman who was all anti-establishment punk vibes as a teenager and then when we see her at about 30 years old she's a quintessential housewife 😂 then 7 years later she's divorced 😔. Stella and Gab are my two favorite contrasting examples. Stella is 23 and Gab is 30, and that 7 year gap is a perfect length of time for a 23 year old to realize this dream life she envisioned is not going to happen. Which is why you can tell Gab is far more grounded when she says things like “Is he funny, can we tell inside jokes? If we can afford it, 3 kids. Oh my jeep is fine.” Whereas Stella is talking about 300k cars, 5000 square foot houses, and spending so much her husband should just make more. That difference is due to the 7 years of life that Gab has on her. She may have had those dreams too at Stella’s age, but life comes at you quick. I wanted to be and do all kinds of things. I wanted to be a pro football player. Wasn’t good enough to go D1 so got a D2 offer. Lost my scholarship when I got in trouble for fighting. Joined the army and figured I’d get out and get my school paid for and then go become a doctor. Wasn’t a good enough student to pass physics, o-chem, and those pre-reqs. Switched my PhD to social sciences to be a college professor. Finished my masters and started teaching undergrad while continuing my PhD. Two semesters in I realized I hate academia. I’m now a federal employee with a GS12 pay level and 70% VA disability. It puts me well over six figures total income, so I’m not hurting. But my life changed drastically many times between when I was in high school thinking I’d go to the NFL and be rich to 15 years later working for the federal government driving a Ford Explorer and living in a condo. That’s life. These chicks haven’t been punched by life yet. Gab is the closest one and you can tell by her approach to the questions. Stella already looks 30 and she’s 23. If she doesn’t land this dude she wants in 3 years, that’s a wrap for her. The reality is simple: these women are going to have to adjust their needs, wants and desires drastically as life continues to happen to them, or they’re going to end up bitter and alone blaming men.

As I watched this, I kept thinking how delusional all of them were except for Gab who answered the questions but made it clear that having someone who made her happy and who she could enjoy life with was what she really valued. To me, her lack of materialism and focus on who someone is over what they make, made her by far the most attractive one. When some residencies during interview season openly brag about the rigors of their program by citing divorce statistics among their own residents, then you know that being married during such a tumultuous time is a big gamble.

Don’t lead with your wallet, and if the question of how much you make comes up on the first date, ghost her as soon as practically possible
I don't solely watch these videos to learn what I need to do. There are some good things to think about, but on the whole the videos "starring" these girls are showing me exactly what to avoid. The princess mentality is a very strong stench.

I think this shows how social media influences our expectations, not only for women. Because I see that men also and I can't exclude myself, that we look for a above average good looking women when the reality is we won't get those womens and we simp. This is the equivalent of what we're seeing with women. They want a high status men and we want a beautiful, caring, kind, sweet and innocent women.
