Swann DVR keeps rebooting and how to resolve it. How to fix DVR from rebootings.

In this video I will share my experience on how to get the Swann Dvr from rebooting continuously. It took me about one hour with Tech Support. However, in the end, the issue was resolved.
Here are some of the things that you can do.
1. Make sure to plug the power supply straight to the wall.
2. Remove all the cameras from the DVR
3. Make sure the dvr is upto date
4. If you forgot the password, you can use the MAC ID to reover it, after hitting forgot my password.
5. after the updates, do a factory reset
6. Once the DVR is booted, trying pludding in one camera at a time
7. Make sure the power supply output 12v and 2amp or 2000mah.
I did all that and everything is working fine.

yeah im having this problem, happens when i plug in cam 2 to the dvr it just locks up and reboots, ive done all updates reseted the dvr it still does it..

@@VoxDargard Yes I did. Make sure you have the correct power adapter. There is a certain required watts.

try a new power adapter and see if that will work. Mine was the power adapter. Try to plug it straight into the wall outlet instead of power surge protector. Good luck.@@harleensohal4641
