Leave the scenery for streaming, and put the airplanes back on the hard drive and I'll bet that would solve a ton of problems. It may even solve every problem. Loading times would slow down a bit, but you can't have everything.

Descending in full beta on a turboprop never gets boring, and the crinkly cliff faces and snow on top of the mountains are exquisite! The 206 looks good too, I will grab that after I'm finished writing this. And I did copy the Flysimware Learjet 35 over from my 2020 installation and it's feeling super smooth, I can't wait until we can download our Marketplace planes as well.
I completely agree with your comment about streaming aircraft being a mistake. In my current job, we started streaming many of our programs, and it's been a disaster. Nothing loads properly, and it slowed down production.

I flew your route to get more acquainted with this insane bush plane and at last I was successful in getting my landings down better than where I was flying in my home state of Colorado. I was initially wigged out with the intense performance of this bird and needed to see someone else show us how it's done. Sounds like we have similar setups. I have a 5800X3D with 32 GB of RAM and a RTX 3070 Ti. I'm getting a solid 60 FPS with Frame Gen, DLSS Super Res and DLAA with DSR factors upscaling. I'm very happy with the smoothness so far, but I think it's time to snag a Cyber Monday deal on a 2K monitor to get some more sharpness in the cockpit. Always look forward to your videos. What a shame. Flying is the most intriguing thing I have done in my life. I own an SPL licence and flying gliders over the swiss Alps is a joy. As a young guy I had fear for many things then it went away and at the age of 54 I earned my flying brevet.
Weirdly enough, I started playing around with flight simulation years and years and years ago as a way to try to cure myself of fear of flying before a big trip I was supposed to take for school on a plane. I never took the trip and I've never stepped foot inside of a plane because it's a rich person's hobby. I still play flight sims sometimes though just out of boredom. Not very often though because that's also a rich person's hobby
The first time I flew the Draco, I didn't realize the elevator trim was set as far nose down as it could be. Ran the throttle up, tail popped straight off the ground then it was grab the tiger by the tail after that. Crazy aircraft

The takeoff reminded me of how the Hype H160 performs for me. Feels like a long delay in the control loop suddenly happens…during the initial moments after takeoff. Leads to a wild, random-feeling takeoff akin to “Mr. Toad’s wild ride.”

I am also mourning my dog being put on the NO FLY LIST. I took the Reims Rocket by bagolu out for some fun and it behaved itself in 24. I also found that Duxford by Chicomick works well in 24. I took the Ironworks P-38 out for a circuit there and it looks great aside from runway lights which I don't think are there in real life. The P-38 performed well too. It's nice to see you up and flying in the sim. This video is a great help to learn how to fly the DracoX. My first attempts have not gone well. I have been encouraging you to get back into texture art. I think you would be creative and have an eye for detail. It's great to be able to make your own mods for the sim. The 206 performs well because it's quite low poly compared to a lot of addons. But the new flight modeling and ground action make it in my opinion feel a little better in MSFS 2024. I have already been experimenting with some of the new SDK features and I think people will really like where this sim is heading.
DracoX will be 1090hp, derated to 850hp. At sea level, that means the difference in HP between Draco and DracoX is 170hp, but as you go up in altitude, Draco HP would decrease due to Density Altitude. DracoX will maintain 850hp above FL180 (I believe that's what Mike stated) which would mean on high DA days where Draco may only be producing 450HP, DracoX will still be at 850hp. Very rough numbers but you get the idea.

"Rude with wings!" Ha! Love this video and love the Draco! Any tips on landing this crazy beast? I love flying her, but I just can't seem to get her tame enough to land. After slowing down a bit, I always start veering to the left. I try to compensate, but it never seems to work quite right, and I know it's operator error. Thank you and looking forward to what you have in store; I'll definitely be picking up some of those liveries!
Regarding the choppy take offs, I'm only having the choppy propblem after playing for a couple hours. It doesn't happen on take off, it starts as soon as I enter the game world. I've had it happen once during landing (it was a catasttrophy). Going back to main menu has rememdied the problem sometimes. Restarting the game usually does.
Liked your video and just subscribed but that judder on take off, its the reason I love my series x and ps5 pro, they deliver the goods without the costs.
Maybe the stutter on takeoff has to do with the transition between ground and flight mode. I assume they've been tinkering with it. Or the dust effects. I've been working on converting a bush field I made in 2020, and while the process is a little bit clunky/buggy (having to use both the 2020 and 2024 editor), the new terraforming and textures on steep terrain is fantastic. Finally I'm able to get some natural looking riverbanks beside the airfield. :)
That stutter on takeoff: Maybe it has something to do with the more accurate way air disturbances are modeled in 2024? Maybe it'ssomething to do with the physics of the prop (number of blades, speed, proximity to the ground requiring certain calculations that aren't needed when in the air, etc)
Mike Patey have crashed this airplane in an sidewind takeoff a couple of years ago. He fly from Utah and of course never been in Alaska with this red bird. Recent news say they try to search found to put it in production.

Loving the Draco. Takes off like a rocket. Fast to get to destinations quickly I'm also hooked on Dornier Seawing. Draco, Seawing and Piaggio P149 are the planes I've been flying the most. The only bad thing 2024 has brought is the overlap of one airport (LAX). I have two iterations of the airport from 2020 that now stream at the same time. One is the old LAX with dirt runways and that overwrites the most current LAX. Something I'm sure will be fixed shortly. Other than that, the scenery and lighting are so much better in 2024 for me.
The only thing I did was increase to 64M of RAM as it was mentioned if you are multi-tasking that was the recommendation. My 1600 Super seems to be chugging along just fine and I seem to be able to run my video recording fine.
I haven't experienced that slowdown on takeoff but im running a more modern powerful computer. That was crazy and im impressed you didn't lawn dart into the hillside in front of you. LOL. That plane is extremely impressive.

You have an extremely similar system to me then, I just put in another 32 Gb of ram same day as the release, difference is I have a 6750XT 12 Gb, performance will be close enough... What I have noticed in this sim compared to 2020 is the GPU is always at 100% while in the old sim it would not get to 100% and ofc the CPU utiliation is much improved, now it uses between 8 to 12 cores all the time, depending on what you fly it seems, the smaller planes, simple ones it might onlyuse 10 cores for a while. I can run on Ultra settings and it runs great, not even bothered to check FPS, it feels like 60+ most of the time, I'd notice if it got very low since I have Track IR 5 on all the time and it gets uncomfortable below 45 - 50 fps. I changed it down to High settings again after a few days and then just pushed terrain and obsticle detail up to 200 - 300 instead. Gonna check my FPS today, just had some issues with my eyes so no gotten to it yet today. I have not tried the Draco yet, been too busy in the helicopters! and Career and AutoGyro! xD
I'm hoping that makes the difference because for 20 I could run flat out at Ultra, and by their metrics for 24, I far exceed recommended and should be half way if not mostly at Ideal... So far CPU and GPU don't have anywhere near the draw level I'd expect... so.
Your stutters on takeoff could be related to the dust cloud rendering. I know i have issues at low speeds where the game decides there needs to be a bunch of dust but it won't "blow away" because you aren't moving.
I love how, at the beginning, the other airplane is literally floating in the air. Once they fix all these things, I'll "think" about buying 2024. I am impressed with this plane though. Everything but the kitchen sink.
The RAM usage I've seen so far has been mostly hovering around 20 - 40 Gb, and only see the higher numbers around the massive cities, its similar to how 2020 was on that front tbh and it make sense, much or the world is the same and planes too, its the underlying engine that has had the major overhaul and while it will change how the engine uses things I dont think RAM usage has changed a ton, major change is CPU usage and physics in general, lighting... and ofc everything being streamed, something I struggle to even comprehend! xD
If I can't fly with My old mate Minty (aka Panther) by my side, well that's just another dealbreaker tbh. He may disagree, as I have crashed us on numerous occasions. Ps. Hudson btw "he's Hicks" :)
I am running an RTX 3070 and also had a lot of stuttering on the ground with High-End preset. It looks like the 3070s 8GB GPU memory could be an issue. I dropped down to Medium preset and have had no stuttering on the ground.
I believe stuttering during takeoffs may be attributed to backblast calculations and associated particles calculations and rendering. So may be this is why stuttering occurs during takeoffs at high graphic settings.
I'm on a ryzen 7 3700X with 32 GB of ram and a RTX 3050 and all is smooth as butter.By the way,lossless scaling app works.My problems are more with control settings and the Tobii not working bug........................................................
You talk about the difference between streamed aircraft VS installed. Could you maybe explain HOW to install them? I don't see that option in the game and couldn't find any videos on YT on how to install content. I'd love to have as much installed as possible.

Yes, the 206 was installed locally into my community folder to show the difference. Many 3rd party aircraft one simply drops into your community folder and that IS the install. (PC)
@@AvAngel I looked for the community folder in both my 2024 install, (Gamepass) and my 2020 install, (Steam) thinking I could try just moving my M20 and V35 from 2020 to 2024. I couldn't find a folder with that name in either of them. Is that something you have to add yourself? Also, when I installed the M20 and V35 into 2020 I did that through the marketplace. Does that mean they ended up somewhere other than a community folder and that I need to download both planes directly from the Carenado web site to try installing them in 2024? Sorry if I'm being a bit dense about this but I'm sort of a casual flight simmer and have never even tried installing mods in 2020 so advice is appreciated.
The assignment of all the key bindings for me was going to be a nightmare let alone the new way its being done! with bits that are not working...not lol but how did you assign or move the condition lever, I have the Bravo and its not having any of it and I cant seem to move it with the mouse and just goes back to cutoff...annoying
We had it in 20, it sucks but it's that simmer life! :D You can change them back btw :D There's 2020 keyboard maps you can just add things like walking on foot to :D I did that. The condition is mapped to stock bravo profile for me. use your mixture.
So I don't know if this means anything, but I have pretty much the same problem in '20, with the random stutters at takeoff! I've got a fairly low-end system, running the sim on settings as high as I can to still hit 60fps most of the time, which also seems to be what you're going for, settings-wise? Maybe it's an engine bug, since I assume they used a lot of code from '20 in '24, right?
When you make a livery does it let you change the interior, or just skin the exterior? If the former, you could replace the cushion in the observation dome with one with Captain Whiskers on it.
Did they ever add any reason to do preflight checks? I expected some randomly broken stuff or random emergencies to happen so you could mitigate or catch issues but in 2020 it was just a waste of time
I wonder who made this aircraft. Hmmmmmmmmmm does this give you a sense of dejavu lol I have only tried the draco once must give it another whirl. 👍 again AV thanks. Also I tried the map enhancement addon and adjusted the quality of the underlying map images and it was a huge improvement in imagery suggesting the underlying imagery in MSFS2024 is overexposed as it flares badly in direct sunlight, it is only the AI trees etc that cover this flaring some tweeking by Asobo may help.
Nice review AvAngel but pineapple on pizza? Not sure about draw distance but if it's got anything to do with terrain LOD and objects LOD I have managed to get mine up to 300 and 140 respectively on a 2080 Super. I am happy with the results. Gets a bit choppy over big cities though.
Are you using the head tracker for your setup? VR performance for me is so horrible right now that I am considering getting a head tracker until I can upgrade my pc.
I've got a problem and I hope to get some answers here... Everytime I land the Draco, it just pulls violently to the left. It's always to the left and no rudder input helps, whatsoever. Even when I touch down as slowly as I can, it still happens... I've tried different prop-settings and also turned down the mixture setting. Everytime I land, the plane spins to the left, does a little slide and comes to a stop, no crash but still awkward. The other taildraggers and bushplanes don't show that behavior...
@@TheInvisibleOrange26 I’ve learned more since this comment. Try pulling back on the stick/yoke as you add power. You will do a 3 second max takeoff role and immediately climb away from the runway. Mike Patey himself flys takeoff in the exact same fashion. Works great
My Draco seems to be broken… I have a black screen on the avionics instead of synth view. And “both” actually burn only left tank of fuel. Don’t know if I can try something or just wait if it “updates” itself 😢
All black avionics might be a sim bug. If you get one random screen black here or there, that is a known sim limitation. DracoX has one more map screen than what 2024 allows. I believe Asobo is supposed to be addressing this. The fuel burn is a known and reported bug. Next time you fly it, you might try flipping the tank selector to the left tanks and then back to both. This should make it burn from both tanks.
@ it’s the synthetic view that doesn’t work only on the left panel. And the tanks seems to do what they want when I use “both”, they go wrong. Only left or only right are ok. I’ll wait for next updates. Who knows.
Dont add 2 sticks of 16GB of Ram, despite i would recommend to change it for 2x32GB. Its because running it in Quad-Channel mode (4 Sticks) has quite a performance penalty. Thanks for your videos. Seems Terrein lod and PreCaching are influencing the Ram needed quite a bit. 💙
@@AvAngel One negative that I encountered after adding 2 sticks of RAM (identical sticks but from a different batch) was full on crashing. The 4 sticks worked fine on my MSI B450 mainboard but when I upgraded to an ASUS X570 it suffered frequent crashes. I'd read that it's best to always buy 4 identical sticks together (same batch) to avoid any possible timing variations between different batches. I ended up yanking the four 8GB sticks and bought two 16GB sticks and the crashing problem immediately vanished. BTW would you recommend MSFS 2024 now, or do you think better to wait a bit until it gets out of 'beta'? Cheers from Thailand! 😁
@@AvAngel with ddr5 its luck if you can keep up the xmp speeds and stability seems to be worse. Depends on controller, yet the daisy chaining becomes a problem. Hope youre the lucky one. But dont blame the sim for crashing if not... 💚
There seems to be a lot of different experiences for people right now. Mine runs really smoothly most of the time at 1440p. I use high-ultra settings and I get higher fps than 2020. My PC = Ryzen 7 5700X, rtx 4070, 32gb ddr4 3200mhz, 1tb nvme m.2 ssd with 300mb fibre broadband. Hope this helps.

I think it might be the 'future' draco build... I'm not positive myself. I know I think I gave the existing (former) Draco's stats like a goon >> (the X exceeds them all)

@@AvAngel Hey! Sorry for the long reply. I had a birthday over the weekend. I just tested mine. RAM is running at 25GB and my 4090 is at 85%. Res is 3440x1440, ultra settings 100 - 110fps. I do have 64gb of ram and a i9 13,9. So it might help sticking more ram in your computer.
There's a lot of negative hype about how bad this sim is but you don't seem to be having many issues. Recommend downloading now? Is it really that bad?
Most of that negative hype was literally day one and two. It's... way too quick. We all expected issues, sure they were pretty huge but they were all fixable issues. A week or so down and it's not doing badly... but its got a way to go yet.
Draco and DracoX are built off of the Wilga 2000 airframe. Some slight differences to the airframe and gear. Just a more modern production of the 104. :)

I had that same stuttering on take-off and landings - turning off all of the ground traffic, especially airport traffic, fixed it for me

Maybe the stutter on takeoff has to do with the transition between ground and flight mode. I assume they've been tinkering with it. Or the dust effects.
I've been working on converting a bush field I made in 2020, and while the process is a little bit clunky/buggy (having to use both the 2020 and 2024 editor), the new terraforming and textures on steep terrain is fantastic. Finally I'm able to get some natural looking riverbanks beside the airfield. :)
I also get the takeoff stutters, but things seem to be much smoother in external view

That stutter on takeoff: Maybe it has something to do with the more accurate way air disturbances are modeled in 2024? Maybe it'ssomething to do with the physics of the prop (number of blades, speed, proximity to the ground requiring certain calculations that aren't needed when in the air, etc)
Crashed so many times with this, it definitely a beast that is not easy to tame :D

Mike Patey have crashed this airplane in an sidewind takeoff a couple of years ago. He fly from Utah and of course never been in Alaska with this red bird. Recent news say they try to search found to put it in production.
For the record, Mike definitely took Draco to Alaska.

Loving the Draco. Takes off like a rocket. Fast to get to destinations quickly I'm also hooked on Dornier Seawing. Draco, Seawing and Piaggio P149 are the planes I've been flying the most.
The only bad thing 2024 has brought is the overlap of one airport (LAX). I have two iterations of the airport from 2020 that now stream at the same time. One is the old LAX with dirt runways and that overwrites the most current LAX. Something I'm sure will be fixed shortly. Other than that, the scenery and lighting are so much better in 2024 for me.
I'd fly the Dornier more if it didn't lag a fair bit for me :(
I have the same issue on take-off, don't know why it stutters on take-off roll.
The only thing I did was increase to 64M of RAM as it was mentioned if you are multi-tasking that was the recommendation. My 1600 Super seems to be chugging along just fine and I seem to be able to run my video recording fine.
I think that's the biggie... I'm really filling up the 32 as a bottleneck. Should be sorted Sunday :D

I haven't experienced that slowdown on takeoff but im running a more modern powerful computer. That was crazy and im impressed you didn't lawn dart into the hillside in front of you. LOL. That plane is extremely impressive.

You have an extremely similar system to me then, I just put in another 32 Gb of ram same day as the release, difference is I have a 6750XT 12 Gb, performance will be close enough...
What I have noticed in this sim compared to 2020 is the GPU is always at 100% while in the old sim it would not get to 100% and ofc the CPU utiliation is much improved, now it uses between 8 to 12 cores all the time, depending on what you fly it seems, the smaller planes, simple ones it might onlyuse 10 cores for a while.
I can run on Ultra settings and it runs great, not even bothered to check FPS, it feels like 60+ most of the time, I'd notice if it got very low since I have Track IR 5 on all the time and it gets uncomfortable below 45 - 50 fps. I changed it down to High settings again after a few days and then just pushed terrain and obsticle detail up to 200 - 300 instead.
Gonna check my FPS today, just had some issues with my eyes so no gotten to it yet today. I have not tried the Draco yet, been too busy in the helicopters! and Career and AutoGyro! xD
I'm hoping that makes the difference because for 20 I could run flat out at Ultra, and by their metrics for 24, I far exceed recommended and should be half way if not mostly at Ideal... So far CPU and GPU don't have anywhere near the draw level I'd expect... so.

Your stutters on takeoff could be related to the dust cloud rendering. I know i have issues at low speeds where the game decides there needs to be a bunch of dust but it won't "blow away" because you aren't moving.
I love how, at the beginning, the other airplane is literally floating in the air. Once they fix all these things, I'll "think" about buying 2024. I am impressed with this plane though. Everything but the kitchen sink.

The RAM usage I've seen so far has been mostly hovering around 20 - 40 Gb, and only see the higher numbers around the massive cities, its similar to how 2020 was on that front tbh and it make sense, much or the world is the same and planes too, its the underlying engine that has had the major overhaul and while it will change how the engine uses things I dont think RAM usage has changed a ton, major change is CPU usage and physics in general, lighting... and ofc everything being streamed, something I struggle to even comprehend! xD

I do! it is set by default for the bravo control profile.

I am running an RTX 3070 and also had a lot of stuttering on the ground with High-End preset. It looks like the 3070s 8GB GPU memory could be an issue. I dropped down to Medium preset and have had no stuttering on the ground.
I believe stuttering during takeoffs may be attributed to backblast calculations and associated particles calculations and rendering. So may be this is why stuttering occurs during takeoffs at high graphic settings.
Entirely posible, I may mess with those settings.

You talk about the difference between streamed aircraft VS installed. Could you maybe explain HOW to install them? I don't see that option in the game and couldn't find any videos on YT on how to install content. I'd love to have as much installed as possible.

Yes, the 206 was installed locally into my community folder to show the difference. Many 3rd party aircraft one simply drops into your community folder and that IS the install. (PC)
@@AvAngel I looked for the community folder in both my 2024 install, (Gamepass) and my 2020 install, (Steam) thinking I could try just moving my M20 and V35 from 2020 to 2024. I couldn't find a folder with that name in either of them. Is that something you have to add yourself?
Also, when I installed the M20 and V35 into 2020 I did that through the marketplace. Does that mean they ended up somewhere other than a community folder and that I need to download both planes directly from the Carenado web site to try installing them in 2024?

The assignment of all the key bindings for me was going to be a nightmare let alone the new way its being done! with bits that are not working...not lol but how did you assign or move the condition lever, I have the Bravo and its not having any of it and I cant seem to move it with the mouse and just goes back to cutoff...annoying
We had it in 20, it sucks but it's that simmer life! :D You can change them back btw :D There's 2020 keyboard maps you can just add things like walking on foot to :D I did that.
The condition is mapped to stock bravo profile for me. use your mixture.

So I don't know if this means anything, but I have pretty much the same problem in '20, with the random stutters at takeoff! I've got a fairly low-end system, running the sim on settings as high as I can to still hit 60fps most of the time, which also seems to be what you're going for, settings-wise? Maybe it's an engine bug, since I assume they used a lot of code from '20 in '24, right?

Full install should be an option. Why would streaming this much data without stutters and issues even be a surprise

When you make a livery does it let you change the interior, or just skin the exterior? If the former, you could replace the cushion in the observation dome with one with Captain Whiskers on it.
Yeah textures are textures but i couldn't add a physical cat, that's modeling I'm afraid.
Fixed rotor helicopter. I've seen someone take off and land in their own wheel marks in a good breeze with this badboy.
The Draco X suppose to have 1000hp the first Draco Mike crashed had 600hp.
Did they ever add any reason to do preflight checks? I expected some randomly broken stuff or random emergencies to happen so you could mitigate or catch issues but in 2020 it was just a waste of time

I haven't tried career mode yet, but I do believe repairs and maintenance are a thing there.

Also I tried the map enhancement addon and adjusted the quality of the underlying map images and it was a huge improvement in imagery suggesting the underlying imagery in MSFS2024 is overexposed as it flares badly in direct sunlight, it is only the AI trees etc that cover this flaring some tweeking by Asobo may help.

Nice review AvAngel but pineapple on pizza? Not sure about draw distance but if it's got anything to do with terrain LOD and objects LOD I have managed to get mine up to 300 and 140 respectively on a 2080 Super. I am happy with the results. Gets a bit choppy over big cities though.

I've got a problem and I hope to get some answers here... Everytime I land the Draco, it just pulls violently to the left. It's always to the left and no rudder input helps, whatsoever. Even when I touch down as slowly as I can, it still happens... I've tried different prop-settings and also turned down the mixture setting. Everytime I land, the plane spins to the left, does a little slide and comes to a stop, no crash but still awkward. The other taildraggers and bushplanes don't show that behavior...

It’s completely bugged it’s physically not possible to stop the hard left yaw and on landing it’s very difficult but doable
@@TheInvisibleOrange26 I’ve learned more since this comment. Try pulling back on the stick/yoke as you add power. You will do a 3 second max takeoff role and immediately climb away from the runway. Mike Patey himself flys takeoff in the exact same fashion. Works great

My Draco seems to be broken… I have a black screen on the avionics instead of synth view. And “both” actually burn only left tank of fuel. Don’t know if I can try something or just wait if it “updates” itself 😢
All black avionics might be a sim bug. If you get one random screen black here or there, that is a known sim limitation. DracoX has one more map screen than what 2024 allows. I believe Asobo is supposed to be addressing this. The fuel burn is a known and reported bug. Next time you fly it, you might try flipping the tank selector to the left tanks and then back to both. This should make it burn from both tanks.
@ it’s the synthetic view that doesn’t work only on the left panel. And the tanks seems to do what they want when I use “both”, they go wrong. Only left or only right are ok. I’ll wait for next updates. Who knows.
Dont add 2 sticks of 16GB of Ram, despite i would recommend to change it for 2x32GB. Its because running it in Quad-Channel mode (4 Sticks) has quite a performance penalty. Thanks for your videos. Seems Terrein lod and PreCaching are influencing the Ram needed quite a bit. 💙
Quad channel mode has no negative or benefit outside of threadripper. There's no positve or negative for 4 over 2 in Ryzen.=, just more.
@@AvAngel One negative that I encountered after adding 2 sticks of RAM (identical sticks but from a different batch) was full on crashing. The 4 sticks worked fine on my MSI B450 mainboard but when I upgraded to an ASUS X570 it suffered frequent crashes. I'd read that it's best to always buy 4 identical sticks together (same batch) to avoid any possible timing variations between different batches. I ended up yanking the four 8GB sticks and bought two 16GB sticks and the crashing problem immediately vanished. BTW would you recommend MSFS 2024 now, or do you think better to wait a bit until it gets out of 'beta'? Cheers from Thailand! 😁
@@AvAngel with ddr5 its luck if you can keep up the xmp speeds and stability seems to be worse. Depends on controller, yet the daisy chaining becomes a problem. Hope youre the lucky one. But dont blame the sim for crashing if not... 💚

There seems to be a lot of different experiences for people right now. Mine runs really smoothly most of the time at 1440p. I use high-ultra settings and I get higher fps than 2020. My PC = Ryzen 7 5700X, rtx 4070, 32gb ddr4 3200mhz, 1tb nvme m.2 ssd with 300mb fibre broadband. Hope this helps.
2020 never did this…i expected reliability …but I wonder..- oh and it sometimes crashes to the desktop…surprised me

I think it might be the 'future' draco build... I'm not positive myself. I know I think I gave the existing (former) Draco's stats like a goon >> (the X exceeds them all)
@@AvAngel Hmmm, interesting, as I don't think (I may be wrong) that Mike's ever given any details of what the future Draco X will be, other than better in a whole bunch of ways than the original. Either way, it's cool to have something like it in sim.
@@Streaky100001 Got Friends worked with Mike to get the most accurate representation of DracoX based on his vision at the time of development. Of course, knowing Mike, there will probably be some changes to that vision during the build process.

The card is more than sufficient… it’s way over recommended spec of a 20 series. It’s also barely running over 50% while my ram runs high

@@AvAngel Hey! Sorry for the long reply. I had a birthday over the weekend. I just tested mine. RAM is running at 25GB and my 4090 is at 85%. Res is 3440x1440, ultra settings 100 - 110fps. I do have 64gb of ram and a i9 13,9. So it might help sticking more ram in your computer.
There's a lot of negative hype about how bad this sim is but you don't seem to be having many issues. Recommend downloading now? Is it really that bad?
Most of that negative hype was literally day one and two. It's... way too quick. We all expected issues, sure they were pretty huge but they were all fixable issues. A week or so down and it's not doing badly... but its got a way to go yet.

Draco and DracoX are built off of the Wilga 2000 airframe. Some slight differences to the airframe and gear. Just a more modern production of the 104. :)
