A fun plane, but some annoying bugs on Xbox. Like the fuel only draining from the left tank. Minor inconvenience, but I hope they fix it soon.

Very cool. This is everything I was hoping Flight sim 2020 was gonna be. I need missions! I want to rescue, put out fires, have challenging deliveries and unpredictable moments.

There is another developer called Aerial Simulations currently working on a properly modeled 707. The screenshots look as good as PMDG. hopefully it comes out in 2025 complete with accurate sound and textures!

The Captain Sim B707 was their best offering. I wish they would take the time and convert it to MSFS.

For those of us who first flew in flight simulator 5.1 and it's competitors it is INCREDIBLE. I feel like my grandad (born in 1878) must have when he saw his first aeroplane in about 1910!

Great little plane! Hangar's Best or at least my favorite from Hangar so far! Love all his stuff and some of the best smoke in the sim.

When you're sitting in a real super d you're looking down onto the the nose. In your view point you can't even see the nose. You're sitting way too low

I purchased this plane and absolutely love it and just realized yesterday about the added bonus from the pull down menu at the top of your screen that the GTN 750 can be used in any other plane as a pop-up panel.

I just love the Decathlon. Nothing is as nice as slow aerobatics.

can you keep motion blur disabled? does'nt play nice with video compression in most cases, which is why most content creators disable it

Genuinely one of the most addictive planes I've bought in a while. The flight model is absolutely fantastic... It will bite if you try to push it too far. Been learning aerobatics while breaking some bad habits I've built because other planes have let me get away with too much haha

AvAngel has some of the best MSFS2024 videos 2 months before release. The content after release should be sweet.

Please MSFS, ASOBO.... Regarding stock aircraft/airports, Quality not Quantity is key.

RW pilot/Instructor here. Honestly, clothing choices???? A flight sim is, first and foremost, an Aviation training device. Not interested in fantasy, role playing. There is an "Opportunity Cost" for all the fluff. Hope they spin off a MSFS Pro Version to address the needs of Core Simmers, RW pilots, homesimmers etc. No offense. That said, I welcome all gamers and sightseers to the world of aviation. Hope you don't get too distracted by stewardesses in miniskirts in the terminal. Don't let your mom catch you drooling!

In MSFS there are so many aircraft by now that is impossible to buy everything. What I don't like of this and other developers are all those fantasy liveries that make me think of a cartoon rather then an aircraft. The FSX decathlon was one of my favourites but this one don't look too much better.

The Hangar Studios 713 planes are nice and their new one here looks like another winner.

Great review Love everything from Hangar Studios 713 but I’m a little biased😉this plane is so much fun. One thing to add and clarify for the Xbox users is the GTN 750 in game panel can be also used from your drop-down menu and flow in any other plane in the SIM if you have this plane installed.

The normal maps are sharp, but the majority of the external textures (the actual paint/graphics) are not sharp at all, even though, given the resolution, they easily could be. The dynamic reg on the fuselage is also always illuminated for some odd reason (very noticeable in cloudy weather and of course at night). Everything else is excellent.

I got this the minute it popped up in the market because I got to try it on a friends comp who got a pre-release. Funnest prop in the sim.

It looks & sounds good but the brakes & AP don't work & the flaps are not animated, I have Freeware that is better, it's not worth paying for, 😕to bad it is one of my Favorite jetliners along with the 727

I started my flight training in a Super D years ago and returned to do some intro aerobatics training, such an incredibly fun aircraft and I'm so glad we have a decent example in the sim now! Really nice model, and it looked about as worn down as this one too lol

Totally unrelated to the plane, but do you think it will be possible in MSFS 2024 for TH-camrs to sell clothing mods that feature an in game t-shirt or hat with the TH-camr's logo on it?

I think the character customisation is a great added feauture - I already love the game but being able to personalize your pilot is icing on the cake.

A fair review I think. It's a B353.5 right enough! There are a few other issues. The nose wheel steering works, but doesn't animate on most liveries (as you can see from your video). On the cargo variant it does for some strange reason but it's quite sensitive so quickly pivots to 90deg. It also doesn't hold the GNS NAV track very well over the course of a longer flight or hold to LOC for that matter, I have had to manually fly it down. The GNS530 feels bolted on at the last minute tbh. The door switch on the cargo livery displays a statically rendered open cargo bay door static containers and static loader. Which is not very 2024 sim level. Feels like something you'd maybe come across 20 years ago. Same goes for many of the textures. In the end it flys ok though 35.35% of the time!😅On a plus side I've had about £8 worth of enjoyment out of it.

I was really looking forward to the 707, having seen many, many of them in the '70's and '80's, and yes, the price is right, but would I actually fly it much . . . If they get the iNS working, and improve the sounds (what is with that swarm of bees sound?), I think I'll go for it, but for now it's in the Disappointed class. On the other end of the scale is the FlightSim Studio 727, and given that the flightdecks were very similar, it should be used as a yardstick to compare the 707. Given such commonality, maybe FSS should come out with their own 707. Great video by the way!

So AvAngel, considering in 2020 with multiplayer enabled you could see other aircraft, do you think you’ll be able to actually see player models in 2024? Like when you hop out of the plane, do you think your avatar will be synced in multiplayer and you can see people walking around in an airport?

Everyone expecting PMDG level sim quality for what, $15 retail? Lol TLDR: Not a study level sim. Quality could be better. Does it function as a fun entry to the 707? Yes. Does Asobo and Microsoft need to add a lot of polish? Yes. I bought it for $10. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Compared to the quality level of my PMDG 737 and 777, it's not even close. But I paid significantly more for those products. I EXPECT those to be as nearly perfect as possible. For the $10 I paid, I've got a fairly involved-ish start up sequence of a VERY analogue jet. Controls are nice and heavy on takeoff. I actually compared sounds to some clips on TH-cam. Not great, but not terrible. Very serviceable. 6/10 initial quality. But serviceable, and enjoyable for all those Airplane! fans haha. For "Hardcore Golden Age" simmers, it will leave you wanting more. If you can accept this is an entry level sim that is priced appropriately, it's fun.

BAN AH from al MSFS products please, this is just a shame for the whole community :/ Hope someone can bring the FSX 707 in good working order on MSFS so we can forget this BS

Where to even begin? JT3 engines look comically goofy are just awful, cockpit windows are the wrong shape by no small margin, overall body is not as thin and tall as the real thing was, it wasn't a widebody jet yet the width the height ratio of the cabin just isn't right, why the wings look like they are in full flex when on the ground is also baffling, gear doors are just dead wrong. It's like half of the aircraft geometry was simply guessed. A very disappointing product indeed. It's like it was made for kids who don't know or care about the significance this aircraft had on aviation history. Poor form AH, very poor form.
