I just realized that I have been watching Escape to Rural France for a year. I haven't missed a single video. My my how time flies. You all are the highlight of my day! I can't believe how much Dan and guest stars have managed to get done. Thanks for the memories guys.

@@veepotter307 I'm not a chef by any stretch of the imagination but I do enjoy Mary Berry's cooking shows. And, I've watched Mary make meringue. Dan's lime filler (I suppose is what you call it) looks alot like Mary's meringue. That's what I took it too mean. Something of an homage to Dan's background as a chef and Mary Berry's charm and skill in the kitchen.
This is my favourite show of all time, I can't get enough of this restoration. fabulous entertainment with soul, heart and sweat, strait from the heart from all involved. what a group of awesome people.

Do keep a record, some chips of those paint colors, for the pink and brown ceiling...very Art Deco style! You would be surprised how they look once the interior is finished up, maybe find images of what that room looked like, and what was/is the intention of that room? An Interior Designer!
