Very nice set up you have, nothing wrong with it at all,, your an young man now, but as you get older you'll figure it out that simple and lighter is good. I like to used a hunting coat with lots of pockets to keep a little bit of a lot of stuff and rig a little put type wagon with air tires for the animals, just on my walking line (it's not very long anymore) but a good UTV or ATV is great, I'm a 60 year old, retired welder and electrician, so my knees aren't very good anymore...love your videos and like the way you do it, great respect for ya 👍👍👍
Really liked to see this video, your time in the field proves out your knowledge of how it should be done and saves another person time on the best way to carry on trapping. That way will likely be needed again for people to survive in the upcoming loss of knowledge of how to survive in a world without what was basic knowledge. Hunted my whole life but never trapped, that's a part of how America was really settled. Most people today really don't understand.
Awesome video buddy!! Lots of good tips and ideas for the outdoors trapper for sure!!! I have definitely noticed over the years of trapping and just using 5 gallon buckets it can definitely take a lot of buckets with different trapping tools and bait and lures and to keep them separate from other things!! Keep up all the hard work buddy!!!
Also buddy, check out the bucket caddys at Walmart for fishing. You can carry your dirt in the bucket and load the caddy with your lures, urines, and baits. I use a sling strap from a duffle bag and if my hand gets cramped carrying the bucket by the handle, I can let it hang. Just an idea for next time you want to change things up.
Great basket. I have modified mine like that out of a frame from an old baby carrier. I found it at the local thrift store. Removed baby carrier and added frame to my pack basket.
Sir I gotta say thank you so much for the info you drop you have taught me so much, I always get excited when your notifications pop up on my phone and you r doin something with trapping. Keep up the good work buddy when you show us something or teach us something it just clicks with me, unlike other trappers I watch. Good luck with the season can't wait to see what all you get. Stay good bub
Looks like you have it down to what you need, looks good thanks for the tips. 353 views... but only 62 likes why can't the near 300 guys that watch can't give you a thumbs up, I bet you can't understand it too!! Crazy....
Great video!! Thanks for the tips!! Going to watch again when my buds make it to the camp and we gunna take a shot every time you say pack basket and see who the last man standing is 🤣🤣 Appreciate the great content!
Dude, I like your setup. I use my old army Alice pack with a square 5gal kitty litter bucket inside and I also have a nail apron on mine. I made a pack basket, but never had room for carrying animals out in it. Army guys have a problem. We are used to carrying a lot of weight so we tend to overload any other bags we carry if we have room for other things we think may be useful. Best of luck to you! Let them trash pandas have it!
Really likes how you modified ur pack basket have to look into them now. I didn't like how the felt walking with them. So after seeing what you did would definitely make it easier
First of all, that intro was dope and would make a cool A$$ intro to the rest of your videos. Also, this video was amazing, and full of information! Loved it man been subbed about a year now and your videos keep impressing me and continuing to improve. Keep it man we are loving this 💩 🙏🏼
I've watched almost all of your trapping videos in the past week. I've heard you mention several times that you use 2 sifters. One for new sets and one for re-sets. Just wondering why you need a second one for re-sets? Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge. My traps will be here next week.
Wow. You carry a lot What’s that pack basket weigh out at when full of gear? I definitely like the 1/2 barrel for catches. No mess. Thanks for sharing. PeaceY
Great video good information as usual. Always looking for better ways to haul everything around with me .keep them coming. Hey what do you use for bait in your dogproofs
You mentioned it..... not sure I've seen it in action...... How do you pull your in ground anchors? I saw someone used an old pipe bender..... what do you use?
Awesome video! You should do more reviews such as getting a new piece of ground, getting a starter pack(coon, fox, or coyote) and show how you would use it on the piece of ground that you've never trapped before.
Love your videos, was just wondering how long can the critters sit frozen before you skin them. I’m north of Green Bay wis. and have access to coons and coyote trapped by locals( nuisance ) Can they be left for me to work if frozen if so how long
Curious. What bad experiences if you don’t mind sharing. I have 3 for my different lines. I have a older dark green fiberglass one. I modified it of course for my dog line. It’s the cat a$$. The other 2 are like the ones in video. One for fisher/ marten/ mink . The other for coon and then beav and otter.
@@jackofalltrapping6181 I'm embarrassed to say...i was very young when it happened... It was literally my dumb ass fault, but it was something i have never been able to forget... I can laugh now, but at the time it was not funny... It has something to do with a flood gate and i damn near drowned.
Another awesome video! Like your pack setup. Would love to see how you would set up a 4 wheeler for trapping. Keep 'em coming Stu, love your videos.
I like to listen audio books over my worktunes ear protection. Ears warm and entertained.

Trapping was a big thing in the past, WAY more than deer hunting....Facts do matter.
I like your videos on your informant and how to do things and how to create different things out of nothing that's very good

I use a Dewalt bag I got from my brother, works great. It is big. Many compartments.

Putting the bracket on a pack from is a really good idea, might have to try that

I would strap that clothes basket to the back of the basket in a way that allows you to move it easily if you need too.
Appreciate you keeping this going.

Yes what's your load out weight Stu?
40 lbs at the most on a rainy day.
You’re no joke!
Great video good information as usual. Always looking for better ways to haul everything around with me .keep them coming. Hey what do you use for bait in your dogproofs
Damn I forgot to stockup on dry dirt this summer!!!
👍👍👍
I like, Merry Christmas mister 👊🏻
Nice
"Short quick video for y'all"....24 minutes later..... that's all I got to say about that one
As always good experienced based advice, however you need to get that tail light fixed 🙄👍
Quality content as usual
Did you drill out the original rivets on the lure box and then drop it down to the bottom ? I've definitely been thinking about trying that to mine
You mentioned it..... not sure I've seen it in action......
How do you pull your in ground anchors? I saw someone used an old pipe bender..... what do you use?

Hey Stu just curious I’m thinking about getting a talon p and wondering how you fill the air tank
What two drill do you run
In 2 yrs if you'd be open to a FL moved to Ohio as a tag along on your trap line. I'd love it just to learn more from what videos, camera, can't show
How long will you leave a dirt hole set out before you pull it?
I am curious on your total year during count. Seems like you have a solid set of producing lines
*total year fur count.
Do you gps where you put traps to ensure you dont forget about a new one you placed?
What’s the right weather for wax dirt?
Love your videos, was just wondering how long can the critters sit frozen before you skin them. I’m north of Green Bay wis. and have access to coons and coyote trapped by locals( nuisance ) Can they be left for me to work if frozen if so how long
Do you get paid off buying the pack frame through your link?
Awesome video thanks okay hear I go I can’t help but ask you never talk about what baits you use is that top secret or what
Could I use a standard paintball co2 tank on the talon p?
“1 dog proof worth of weight”
Hey buddy I have a question when stretching a coo or coyote what do you do with the gristle on the nose
What kind of bait do you use for your dog proofs
Where do you get your coyote boards at or how do you make them??
Ive had bad experiences from packbaskets...

Roger that. I’ve had some adventures but nothing like that.
👍
