Hello ma'am... I'm beginner..i still struggling with chocolate cake... everytime the chocolate batter cracks upper layer..i bake at 160°c with both rod on and fan on.. I'd appreciate if you help me with that
I would go to 325.. though if your oven is too hot check your fan settings. If it’s adjustable it should be on low or at 20%. If it’s still too hot put your cake on the middle or lower rack in the oven.

Mine are just box cake mixes. If I need to lower the temperature from 350 then how much I go down to?
