      Hi Shehnila ...thanks for watching Kitchen Revelations...cake baking time depends on various factors like quantity of ingredients...oven type..size of baking tin..etc...please watch my sponge cake recipe that I have uploaded on this TH-cam channel...have explained in detail with measurements..I have used a 6 inch baking tin for that recipe (fyi)

    I have a suggestion. There are many channels here that talk about baking problems.. But still one is not able to find why his cake failed in many cases.. It would be good if someone provides on-call support for people who are ready to pay and take help. This would help the content maker in earning as well as get more ideas about why things failed. Also the frustated cake maker much needed help.

    • @KitchenRevelations

      Now answer to your question... Cake becomes rubbery when butter, egg, sugar is not beaten well.. I mean air is not trapped well... Also after adding maida please do not over mix... Over mixing will lead to a chewy cake... Use cut & fold method

    Hello ma'am! Hope you are doing great. I want to clear one of my confusion please let me know if we not use eggs in cake what will effect it, because I really don't want smell of egg. Please let me know either not to add eggs or how to remove smell of egg?

    • @KitchenRevelations
      @KitchenRevelations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To remove egg smell use Essence...alternative for eggs is flax seeds or Arrowroot powder or curd

    Hi
    I require your tip , I baked a chocolate cake I inserted a tooth pick to check if d cake was done Toothpick was clean
    Still how cake got slightly stuck to d base ? Thank u.

    • @KitchenRevelations
      @KitchenRevelations  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1. Dust your cake tin with flour n oil or line with paw paper 2. Once baking is done keep only for 10 to 15 minutes in the pan and then demould. If you keep for longer period cake will stick to the bottom

      Once baked test it using knife or toothpick for its finish... If it comes out clean keep on kitchen counter top leave the cake tin for about 15 minutes... After 15 minutes demould cake from tin n allow it to cool down on wire rack for atleast half an hour

    • @KitchenRevelations
      @KitchenRevelations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Baking powder will depend on the quantity of flour used for 100gms of maida you can use 1/2 tsp baking powder... After baking allow the cake to sit in the tin open outside the oven for 15 minutes.. N then unmould it n allow cake to rest on a wire rack for at least 1/2 an hour before cutting
