Great review, thanks. For a macro lens the focus breathing is really well controlled. The bloom and some of the flares look really nice to me, perhaps with the exception of that rainbow flare at 4:38 ;-) But a matte box should take care of that. Looking forward to seeing how the other lenses in the series stack up.

@@phoenixfunny4517 yeah, I think for some projects it would be great, and others where the (corporate) client would have a fit haha! Some directors of brand/marketing I work with are extremely prescriptive in what you are and aren't allowed to do 😉

Hey, hmm... i am not sure as i have used it with the EF to E adapter, but i suppose that you can! Just beware of vignetting as this lens is already a Full frame Lens
@@MAUROSFILMS thanks for the quick reply man! Would love to know before hand as some lenses do have a rear element that protrudes and touches glass with the metabones. Vignetting will not be an issue for me as with rhe 0.64x booster i have an effective crop factor of around 1.216. All my leneses are full frame lenses. Thanks again man!

Background blue is not cinematic. Sick of hearing this.
Cinematic is a subjective term in todays world. In this case blur can be one characteristic of cinematic but not the only factor.
