Hi Calum. That's a fantastic video - it really captures all aspects of how tough but how beautiful that trek is - and we just wanted to say how good it was meeting you and your friends along the way. We're already planning to go back and do Mera and Island in 2024. Have a wonderful Christmas and give our best to everyone. Sean & Debbie :)

What an Amazing Trip, with an Amazing Bunch of People. I watch a lot of TH-cam Himalayan climbing blogs, and read books on the Himalayans. But this was such fun to watch. I did not want it to end. And the Editing from 15 days to 1 hour was an incredible job. Well done. I really want to fly from South Australia to Lukla right now. Take Care and thanks for the Adventure.

A brilliant video Calum. You all remarked that you would never forget the experience. I can vouch for that having been there in 2006. I still get emotional watching these videos and looking back at my photos. Regrettably we had to turn round midway between high camp and the summit because of bad weather. Disappointing but that did not detract from the overall experience. Well done on your achievement and thanks for sharing the experience.

It varies greatly Matthisjis, depending on who and how you book your trip. We booked the trip using Adventure Peaks in the UK, who in turn use a local company called Makalu Adventure to facilitate the in-country logistics. In total, I was close to £5K when you take EVERYTHING into account.

@@matthijsvanemous7046 Correct. Acquiring a visa for a British National is super simple. We got ours on arrival in Kathmandu.
