- And... I am now half-way to COMPLEATING the MUNRO's. 141 Down... 141 To Go!
These two Munros give one of the more challenging outings for baggers in this part of the Highlands, requiring experience as it crosses some potentially difficult pathless terrain. Creag Mhòr is steep and craggy on the ascent with much character; Beinn Heasgarnich is a fine viewpoint but has a tricky descent with vast areas of peat bog.

Dwayne
Thanks so much Dwayne. We are blessed with a magnificent landscape.
A half way point to remember. Nice one. Hope you're back in the land of the unbroken now!
Just about recovered aye... I definitely won't forget these two in a hurry. Thanks for watching 😁
Absolutely well done mate. Well done on the half way mark. I hope I get their one day. Am only sitting at 38 at the moment. I seen your post on Facebook on the I am bagging munro group. You speak so well to the camera. I wish I could speak so well lol. I usually do a silent hike and play some music on my videos. Well done.

@@MyScottishAdventures you are very kind Sir and I really appreciate it. You’ll get there… it’s taken me the best part of 15 years to get to half way. But what a journey it has been. Keep on plodding on!!
Was just thinking, great I feel like iv recovered .... suddenly my knees feeling like Fluber 🤔 huh weird !
Happy half way !!! 🎉 let's go !!
Cheers pal :) What a feeling it is to be half-way. I've just about recovered now, and I can reflect on a what a privilege it is to be able to do what I do.
Great video again Calum. It was worth it!Congrats on reaching halfway and on completing that tough challenge. I like your choices of music. Some of it will feature in films on my channel that I’ve finished but not uploaded yet. Not copying, honest!
Cheers pal :) upon reflection, it was total worth it and I do feel awesome about having bagged these two, and reaching half way. We need tough challenges in order to grow don't we. Thanks again for watching, and I look forward to seeing how you use the music :)
Great effort. I did them a couple of years ago on a day when the weather completely closed in. Navigation was really tricky, although the clouds lifted in time for us to see the second Munro from the bealach and realise how horribly steep and long it looked. Met some nice people and spent the day with them, so that was a consolation, but it was a massive day out. Great part of the country though. Well played. Best wishes Murdo
Cheers Murdo. Aye, massive day indeed. I'm super chuffed with myself thinking about it now, but at the time, it was painful. What a priviledge eh! Thanks for watching :)
Great effort men! Looked relentless at times! Well done for reaching half way in your bagging journey!
@@scottishtrails thanks so much pal :) it was relentless…. But totally worth it. What an experience!
@@calumpaterson123 was it as boggy as you had thought beforehand?
@@scottishtrails honestly… there was a lot of bog, but you can pick your way through if you are sensible. It’s consistently long… that’s the kicker, and that took me by surprise
well done, happy halfway. that looks like it would have been a bugger in a whiteout - so at least you got the views. atb
It would have been most unpleasant in a white-out. It wasn't too difficult to navigate to be fair, and I was very happy when the sun eventually did break through. Thanks for watching :)
Having a Wispa Gold and tuning in 🙌🏾
WOOP! Wispa Gold = Top Tier chocolate bar!
Did these a few weekends ago Callum. Total bogfest 🙈😂
Aye, they aren't the most pleasant pair. I don't know about you, but the sense of achievement afterwards was something else. I feel like after scaling these two I can do anything! 🤣🤣
@@calumpaterson123 haha!!! Agreed. Good luck on reaching half way also. Amazing achievement 👍🏻
@@delboyg2690 Cheers again!
Well done bog trotting is an occupational hazard if you hill walk in U.K. lol😂 nice video cheers
@@andrewkingdom it sure is. Thanks for watching pal :)
Beinn Heasgarnich is now Beinn Sheasgarnaich according to latest online map.
@@GCStalker is that right? I never even noticed. Thanks for letting me know pal :)
Hawfwayhoose done🥵
The weather this year hasn't helped with these boggy pathless trudges.
Thanks so much Alistair... What a feeling it is to be over the half-way mark.
@@calumpaterson123 it's all downhill now Callum, so to speak.😉
@@alistairthow1384 Totally agree. It's a good thing I'm not disheartened by a boggy pathless mountain, because I think it's only going to get worse haha!
