In my area, all Toyota dealers place a "Dealer Adjustment" of +$2000 to +$4000 on the RAV4. They do this because they can and because some people are dumb enough to pay it. If you question the upcharge (price gouging), the salesperson will "talk to their manager" and eventually drop the adjustment. All that does is get people to pay MSRP for the RAV4, which, as you say, is getting ridiculously pricey. This is shady business, in my opinion. I wouldn't pay MSRP for any vehicle, even the coveted RAV4. It's just not worth it.
It's already overpriced without the adjustments there are no adjustments charged where I live but 39k for a second base that has only heated seats and no sunroof the xle awd varient while the tucson with same features is just 32k both are including taxes and doc fee and no other fees in both. Even though this might be more reliable I wouldn't pay 7k for that. I would rather replace my car.
@@aichan5235 not necessarily a subaru forester is better than rav 4 more features and tucson is decently reliable I ain't paying 6k more just for reliability with no features and small screen.
@@AlexAlex-gs1xh based on your comments yesterday, you were raving about the tuscon and how "incredible" it is. Hyundai tuscon's are poison if you were mention those words to a toyota/honda buyer. lol. and yes subaru's are incredible reliable. Toyota, honda, subaru, and mazda. Those 4 brands speak reliable.
Make sure you test the B (seat-belt) pillar rattle. Some people including mine have this rattle. Do a search and you should be able to find videos about this rattle.
@ I’ll take a look. Meant to note I’m eyeing the hybrid model. Really like the looks of the RAV though. Great MPG. Also, the 25 Hyundai Tucson looks nice too!
@MattSwetoha13 yea the tucson is nice too I have a 24 is goof but I have the gas one but hybrid fuel economy is good. Forester and tucson are my picks over the rav 4. The forester is not available in hybrid yet but will be in 2026 I think.
Test drove the CX50. The engine was not impressive. It whines and is slow to accelerate when you step on the gas. Went back and bought the RAV4 XLE Premium.
Toyota dealer asking me 43k for this same XLE model and with same accessories and color too. After discount they are charging me 42k with 5.99 APR. Is it worth it to buy?
So why is the RAV 4 the best CUV out there? The engine is mediocre with an annoying drone sound at 70mph. Reliability is mediocre with gas tank and suspension problems. We had a RAV 4 with same engine and complained about road, engine noise.
A crossover is a type of SUV. Imagine saying you own a German Shephard and also saying it isn’t a dog, that’s the equivalent. Roughly 90 percent of SUV’s in 2024 were considered crossovers because they are not riding on an independent truck type frame.

I like more the analog dash vs the digital on the Limited trim. XLE premium best value in my opinion. Great review !!!
have 2 woodland editions. great cars.
Change oil every 5k. if you want that Dynamic Force Engine to last 200k or more. Great car!
I BOUGHT A 2019 XLE PREMIUM BRAND NEW IN SEPTEMER OF 19 I PAID 28,500 OUT THE DOOR . I CANT BELIEVE THE RAV4 HAS GONE UP SO MUCH
4:27 Beer holder👍
I have a 2015LE with 240k would like to upgrade but prices are crazy high. Might as well get a Ridgeline or Tucson. IDK
I drive a Gen 3 2011 Rav 4 with the V6. You should review one if you ever get the chance.
You right Ben crazy price
Looks just like my 2023.
I Like it , I have a 2024 rav4
Its so similar to my 2024 xle premium
I love my Rav4, it has lasted me 15 years
What year?
@@AR-rd8ki 2009, the new one is the best model yet
Please I need to see the new RAV4 XLE BASE
Rav4 is a cool suv love the interior
Rav 4 needed a redesign in 2025
That’s true
Redesigns usually bring problems!
Car manufactures are getting greedy with the prices.
Looking to buy one soon! Hybrid though.

Look at some other options it's overpriced better to buy a forester the 2025 forester is better, more features, cheaper and reliable too.

For the money one can buy a way better SUS’s. Mazda has a couple of offerings for example.
But Mazda transmissions?

OK, he sits in the back seat and says "Leg room, good." His legs barely fit! And then your view out of the sunroof is the crossbar...not impressed.
This Compared with Volvo XC60
Volvo is now a chinese badge like MG. RIP Volvo.
@gj8822 no first mg is now indian because an Indian company bought majore of its stock and volvo is Sweden.
Volvo xc 60 any day over this.

Bro, please change the title of your video. This is not an SUV. This is a crossover. Please note the difference goddamnit

very nice...too much money.
cool llokin? This guy will say the look is dated next year,
Definitely NOT the best SUV. It's complete trash.
What would you suggest for SUVs? Keep in mind there's also the price point.
