I love how much of this video is just "Wait, that's legal?" "It's at 3!" The master duel banlist is just something else lol.
TCGplayers are just conditioned to not being able to build combo decks. The funniest part about this dichotomy is that the TCG players are more likely to create combo decks that far exceed the OCG players ability after learning how to play around Maxx C.

Just so anyone reading this knows, because I haven’t seen anyone else use or mention it, the right click on the mouse is the “back” or “cancel” button, so you don’t have to move your mouse every time to decline an optional effect

I see a MD youtube vid in my recommended, so i’m going to share this story. I finish my deck, level up the pass and get my tri zoo deck: all i needed was some better staples. Going through ranked and solo mode i grinded for gems and packs, then asked discord what staples i should get next… get lightning storms, called, handtraps etc. Now all that is left is to finish my imperm play set to replace chalice. Craft the first, grind slowly to get 30 UR chips… i post this accomplishment to discord and craft another one, then start to look at my deck.
i have 0 copies of imperm crafted.
i dismantled the imperm.

@@kbzoncapo777 At the slow rate it gives gems, i expect it to die off in 2 weeks time. Great concept but overly monetized. All cards should have been available or at least all cards available in casual. Unless you are a heavy spender this game has no future.
@@Asako_Gaming Well if you want to collect EVERY card then yes you will have to sink thousands of $.But most experienced players usually create 1-2 decks they like and possibly 1 meta deck and that's usually enough.
There is also nothing stopping you from creating a new account and building 2 meta decks with every handtrap/side deck if you really want to.
Personally i will create D/D/D and raidraptors and the new fairies once they are realeased, and i do not really need anything else.
Yeah that's fine for you, but for a lot of older players who want to go back and play older stuff for fun you can't do it. It simply cannot be done, there are hundreds of different decks to play but you will never be able to make all the decks you want. Like you say, you're going to be limited to 2-3 main decks and that's it. That's a game with no future as you are literally cutting out most of the casual players. If they just released all the cards and kept the paying stuff to cosmetic they would have ensured a healthy game that welcomes everyone. As it currently stands casual players aren't welcome. It's play the current stuff or get shit on. No fun allowed.

A quick tip for everyone, when you dont want to use an effect you can just right click anywhere and it is the same as pressing cancel, seeing MBT hovering all the way to cancel every time was driving me crazy lol
What about forcing activation
you can change in the options where it becomes like fan simulators or tag force games, where if you hold down the left mouse button, it forces activation prompt, and if you hold down right mouse it will ignore them, which is good for bluffing jand traps

I've been climbing with Pend FTK, 8K damage turn 1 is fun. Unban Supreme King Starving Venom in the tcg plz, totally fair and balanced card.

Your goal with the deck I use is to bring out 2 copies of Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom, and 1 copy of lyrilusc Independent Nightingale, have both Starving Venoms copy Nightingale's effect, and then activate their new effects. 8k Burn damage.

As someone who runs Plunder Patroll on Master Duel, do you know what is causing Plunder Patroll Booty to only let you special summon half of the time? Some times when the effect is activated it will prompt you to special summon or return cards from your graveyard to your field / Deck, the other half of the time it just won't prompt you.
I have activated this card in the opponent's end phase, and it prompts me to change an opponent's monster's attribute, I select light, and Booty then proceeds to self destruct immediately after without offering to special summon (Due to not having a plunder patroll on the field during the end phase). There were both eligible starters and properly-summoned Link monsters to revive (Not tagged from the extra deck).
As this is the only deck I have in Master Duel, I'd really like to get to the bottom of what makes it bug out / not special summon monsters.
The card is broken. I dropped the deck on MD for this reason.

It's just weird, as I can't get to replicate what makes it summon and what doesn't. It appears random so far.

Fyi, you can simply right click to cancel an activation prompt instead of pressing cancel. It makes the game SO much less click intensive.

Can someone please explain what happened in that 5 chain duel ?
Chain started at 17:38.
Chain one: aleister search invocation
Chain two: Zeus send every other card on field to grave
Chain three: fleur effect to summon itself, and if there is another dogmaticka on field when it resolves it will negate Zeus
Chain four: Zeus again (had 4 material and isn’t once per chain) so that fleur can’t negate it
Chain five: activate schism for no effect. There are no shaddolls in grave to use it’s effect so he’s flipping up the card for funsies.
Chain resolves backwards so: schism resolves and does nothing, Zeus sends every other card on the field to grave, fleur summons itself but since there isn’t another dogmaticka monster on field at that point it doesn’t negate Zeus, Zeus’s first activation resolves sending the fleur to grave, aleister resolves searching invocation.

Yugioh tubers. I just committed a sin. I used time thief to steal sky strikers engine.
I used fly backs to take their Raye and engaged. I never used redoer’s banish effect to return the stuff he got as materials during standby also. They was forced to normal summon max c after reviving my ash. Which I did use redoer’s effect to spin ash back into the deck. They tried to commit Seppuku through normal summoning an effect veiler and attacking into redoer. I sent that back into the deck also.

As a Traptrix player I love the three Maxx C
Someone please help, I am literally a first time player of yugioh and decide to play master duel as an entry point, my goal is to play casually and grind for the battlepass to get Pot of greed mate. I look on the internet for a decent beginner friendly deck and coming across a video by stevie blunder of all think and he suggest Invoked Shaddol with Neos fusion. So i craft that deck minus the staples so my version is not good, only had 2 ash and 1 nibiru i got from master pack as handtrap. My expectation that i will learn the game as i progress through the rank SLOWLY, and grind the BP exp. Fast forward today currently i am at Platinum IV. Yeah the game decides that i need to skip rank from gold 5 straight up to Plat V. Now i literally stuck at meta deck hellhole with minuscule amount of Exp if I am losing. Why konami think that as a fresh new player without any experience in the physical card game, and i already filled up the form when first time booting up the game stating that this is my first interaction with the Game beside watching twitch and youtube for fun. Anyone know how demote rank quickly? Would like some advice.
Want to demote rank? Just wait till the season ends, but honestly just get good at the game, play some budget monke deck like True Draco or grind for a Virtual World with BFD legal, just read the cards and look for combo guides to understand how the game works and which and when to use certain cards
Intentionally demoting is against tos. Playing against meta seems worse than it is. It's good experience
Platnum is 100% the correct rank for Invoked shaddol... when you play a good deck you're going to have to play against good decks
This game isn't casual friendly. I would not honestly recommend this to newer players. If you're not playing the latest cards you are going to get shit on as people aren't going to invest in casual decks when it costs them irl money. Really poor move on Konami's part. They got greedy again. Stick with Dueling Book and Dev Pro, they have a much larger and welcoming community than this game will ever have if they keep this business model.
@@Asako_Gaming I can see that, beacuse tutorial and solo mode honestly not very intuitive and not helping anyone, and the reason i am not overwhelmed as much as other new player was because i already watching yugioh content prior to master duel.

Playing with an OCGlike format made me realize how they are used to playing round stuff instead of malding about it if you arent allowed to just go up to your opponent and beat them up without a fight.
I don't get it also, they are fine with cards with constant negates and destruction, but counter cards are the OP ones? Honestly hand traps and blanket negates have severely destroyed this game. Even when you look back on the progression series of both Cimoooo and MBT the most fun was had with the older sets when you could actually have some back and forth.
@@icefiredragon94 I'm just returning to the game but I use to be super competitive back in the day and one of the best players in my state at one point (probably around 16 regional top 8's, 1 win never traveled for a SJC or YCS or Nats) and I really like the mind games and having to make choices on the fly based on what your opponent is doing and playing around what they might have and picking the right time to use your powerful cards and Maxx C gives opportunities for all those things to happen..... Plus its always fun going for that Maxx C challenge, I personally just go Drident pass 95% of the time haha.
@@Asako_Gaming Yeah I totally agree my Yugioh prime was like 2004 to 2011 or so and I got to experience first hand and play a lot of those meta decks and try to mess around with the hottest jank that everyone gets to see on Cimooooo's channel, and talk about the events they draw inspiration from the day after they happened and going to the forums and looking at articles and deck list, it's been truly nostalgic. The back and forth has always been the best part of Yugioh, and while I agree the game is definitely a totally different beast now. That back and forth still exist it's just different from how it was... Maybe I'm just more adaptable than a lot of other players because I have played so many different TCG's but I don't know that I would say Yugioh is worse now, just different.. The only real issue I have is with Floodgates, like Imperial Order, it was fine back in the day when you were only playing a couple cards a turn at most and were lucky to get 1 good negate off, it can just shut down the entire game for 1 player now.

I'm hoping,hoping that they just incorporate two different ladders. A tcg and ocg ladders. That way we can keep experience their banlist while the ocg people get to play with Dragoon again
