    Komplikasyon na yan sa diabetes, hindi yan dahil sa diet. Matagal na akong nag-lowcarb diet and fasting, buhay pa ako!

      tama malinaw naman sinabi na komplikasyon nga daw ng diabetes tapos ang masama pa nga kamo kung binigla niya mag no carb diet. dpat rin dahan dahan kapag nag iiba ng diet pero sakin okay naman ang no sugar at less carbs, ginwa ko unti unti lang binabawasan yung portion hanggang masanay.

      pinopromote kasi ng mga nag LCIF na mawawala yung diabetis at highblood pag nag LCIF which is hindi naman. nsa hibernation period lang yung sakit nila pag nag LCIF ka

      Misleading nga kc hndi nila nilagay sa title na Diabetic yung subject nila. Hndi tlaga safe na wla kang carbs lalo na diabetic ka dhil kpag wla kang kinain na carbs ay fats na ang ibuburn ng katawan for energy which is ang complication ay acidosis (DKA) which is dangerous

    May type 2 diabetis din ang mister ko he got 3 stroke already . Tuloy dpat ang madication balance diet lng and portion lhat ng pagkain . No more alcohol and tabacco. And more often excercise. But thank god nalagpasan nya ang lhat.

      ​​@@balloonboy2019actually common misconception po talaga yan. Nasanay lang po tayo/kinalakihan na ang mga pagkain may sugar. So actually, we have to unlearn that and wag po yan ang gawin na normal - "kelangan natin/katawan natin ng sugar."
      Or pwede naman ang sugar but you have to be specific po, sugar from natural resources like fruits. Pero in moderation pa rin at wag yung sobrang tamis pa rin po. Carbs is okay kung nasa tamang timbang at hindi po sumusobra. Mga sodas/colored drinks (coke, milktea, ice tea) ay wala naman po talagang mabuting dulot sa katawan natin. Ang iba nga po kahit carbs, yung wheat/brown pa rin ang option instead of white/refined carbs.

    Pag gusto mo mag low carb or no sugar no carb diet, need mo mag take ng Electrolytes like sodium and potassium kasi malakas makaubos ng Electrolytes no carb no sugar diet.

      True. At di lang dapat low carb/no carb alone.
      Dapat low carb, HIGH FAT. Kasi sa fat kukuha ng energy instead of sugar. Ang iba kasi ginagawa low carb lang. Milk yung source ko ng electrolytes. Kumpleto na yan, may added protein, fats, minerals pa.

    The best para sa akin balance diet and exercise 💪 nagtry ako ng lowcarb diet ng 1yr tnigil ko kasi tumaas ng bahagya SGPT ko. Ngayon balance diet ako strong ako 2years na 💪 everyyeaar bloodwork normal at higit sa lahat happy ako sa balance diet hindi stress 😊😊😊

    I'm a diabetic too. I tried keto diet in the past kaya lang hindi ko kaya. Naumay ako sa lasa fats and meat. So I switched to "isang sandok na rice" and vegetables and fish o kaya tofu in every meal. Okay naman, nahiyang ako.

      my american husband is a diabetic for so many years. recently his doc nag recommend ng carnivore diet so for like almost 4 months i guess he is on carnivore diet so far so good normal like sugar, high blood pressure, ang gout everything is normal.. just purely meat mostly kinakain niya is beef, bacon, salmon chicken. boil egg. he is obese so from 200 plus kls now hes around 117 kls.. i will try that maybe, for now i love rice.

    Common Misconception of Diet is the lesser you eat the more you become Slimmer.
    The reason why you still hungry is because the nutrients need of your body is still lacking and you eat more foods that is extra and body doesnt really need that much.
    Eat 10 pack of junk foods its still not enough. But eat atleast 4 different type of fruits or vegetables with atleast meat and you will feel full.
    Dont Afraid of Food just select of Proper. and right Just Burn it Later.

    If I followed Nutritionist in St Lukes and Medical City I would have not reversed my diabetes. 10.2% HBA1C to 5.2% without medicine. Zero carb carnivore 🥩 diet and walk 👣 after every meal 🍴🍱

    Intermittent fasting, balance diet and exercise. 60% of your plate should consist of vegetables. 30% protein, 10% carb.

    Ilang yrs na rin akong no carbs, but sugar mainly galing sa fruits okasyon na lang ang ibang sugar gaya ng cake, halo2x o kaya ice cream. Okay naman. Hindi rin ako kumakain ng meat soup na lang ng organic na chicken, protein ko ang beans, nuts, tofu at isda.

    Ito yung mali, 7:17, tinigil niya maintenance meds. malamang di rin siya nag consult ng doktor nung itigil niya. Dapat sana inintay niya yung sasabihin ng doktor kasi maselan na kapag mayron nang maintenance. Kunsabagay maraming guilty rin sa ganyan.

      diabetics can still eat fruits. in moderation and depends on glycemic index and glycemic load. Mangoes, pineapples, melon - sample ng mataas ng GI and GL. Strawberries, avocadoes, berries low Gi and GL

    Try ninyo sa diet ninyo veg salad at 1 bread. Veg salad content ay bell pepper 100g,cucumber100g,carrots20g,cabbage30g. And take protein veg. Protien or meat protien. Try it in every meal

    Nag Keto din po and from 74 now is 49-50 na lang ako may proper ways po ang Keto and super beneficial siya talaga but Keto is not for all case to case basis po so far I am very satisfied sa result

    Walang diet sa mundo na masasabing zero carb. Mali lang ang ginawa ni madam sa paggawa ng kanyang diet. May proseso naman kasing susundin. Maraming gumaling sa kanilang karamdaman dahil sinunod nang tama ang isang diet. Tulad sana ng low carb diet lifestyle at ang stricter na keto diet.

      bakit hindi na lang mag oats, lagyan ng prutas? effective pa, avoid sodas, drink more water, avoid chips, less intake of salts, processed food at iwas din sa diet pills baka di kakayanin ng katawan dahil sa side effects.
      Hirap mag advice dahil minsan, nakakatamad kung empty ang tiyan, Lafang is life kung baga 🤣

    The doctor should clear this up, it's in her case that she already has Diabetes, based on what I learned from other Professional doctors, the ketones does not cause Ketoacidosis, the cause is the High glucose, the low insulin(zero Insulin), and the acidic blood. ketones are just indicators found on the blood that there is something wrong with the patient.

    Boiled rice, softdrinks, sweetened foods, are big factor of swelling tummy, overweight, high rate of blood sugar.
    I stop eating boiled rice, since December 2023, and the results was from 104Kg to 86Kg, 42inches waist line to 36inches now.
    I eat everyday fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken meat and exercise, drink 8 glasses of water regularly.
    Praises honor, and glory to our
    Lord GOD
    for the determination and self control to avoid eating boiled rice,
    and being a non smoker, not drinking wine also.

    Dapat kasi kapag may health issues át maintenance ask the doctor bago mag diet para alam pano ma mabalance ang pagkain. Hindi xa malapit mamatay dahil sa diet kundi dahil sa diabetes xa

    yung tatay ko 74 yrs old, diabetic sya. mag 1 year na sya naka mostly meat diet. okay naman sya, kaya umubos ng isang crispy pata. usually di na nag susugar spike dugo nya, stable lang. pag lang naka kain ng ilang plant products tsaka tumataas sugar. minsan nakalimutan nya uminom ng gamot, di naman tumaas. pero di pa sya nag tatanggal ng meds, balak pa lang.

    I was once a pre diabetic. As per my doctor advised, di namn pwedeng mag no sugar kasi kailangan ko din ng sugar sa katawan, dahil pwede ikahina ng katawan pag no sugar at all. Balance diet lang talaga and tama, yung diet is hindi para sa lahat.

    I noticed dumadami ang obese sa Pinas. More than how it was 30-40 years ago. I think yung quality ng food na kinakain ..a lot of processed food na..and so much fatty/high carb food. Eat out in Manila, and mapapansin mo, high-end restaurants always have creamy dishes (carbonara, lasagna are a fave), fried and salty stuff, and offered with unlimited rice. Dumadami din ang call center workers whose night shift jobs slows down their metabolism drastically. People shd watch their diets..isa na tayo sa pinaka-malalaki ang katawan sa Southeast asia bec of this unhealthy food fare. Noon, ang mga luto nina lola mas healthy: saluyot, alugbati, okra, sitaw, upo, etc at ang meat minsan lang kainin. Now, the younger generation dont even know how to cool properly - kadalasan, prito prito lang, ramen, bukas ng de lata. Its very unhealthy.

    Sana all naging health concern matapos ma-diagnosed ng diabetes. Yung isang kakilala ko hindi pa rin. Hindi nag-eexercise, kahit lakad nang medyo matagal. Sinasabihan ng doktor na kailangang magpababa ng sugar pero walang ginagawang paraan, wala na raw kasing epekto kahit na bawasan ang matamis na pagkain. Tsaka stress daw siya kaya puro matatamis, maaalat at matataba ang kinakain.
    Tapos nang sinabi ng doktor na nagdecline ang health niya ang sinisi ang gamot, sinagot siya ng doktor na hindi iyon kundi yung lifestyle. Kapag sinasaway ko siya ay siya pa galit.

    Kapag mag lolowcarb po tayo dapat controlin muna natin ang blood sugar kasi kung ang blood sugar mo mataas tapos mag lolowcarb kapa at alam naman natin na ang ketones ay acids kaya kapag hindi mo na control sugar mo at meron ka ding ketones sa katawan magiging acidic ang dugo mo talaga at magkakaroon ka talaga ng diabetic ketoacidosis.

      True. Parang twisted at kulang yung context sa video na ito. Ang sugar na kailangan iwasan yung plain sugar, yan ang cause ng maraming sakit. Yung isang klase ng sugar ay complex sugar na nakukuha sa gulay at prutas.
      Di ako expert, pero marami narin ako natanong na doctors about dyan at sa dami ng educational videos ng mga doctors across internet halos iisa lang ang sinasabi sa topic na yan, plain sugar ay cause ng maraming sakit at delikado pag nasobrahan.

      At the very least, kung maparami ka ng kain ng gulay ay magsusuffer ka ng bloating o gas dahil maraming fiber ang gulay, walang kinalaman ang sugar, dahil super minimal ang sugar content ng gulay.

      @@--xerxes-- Too much of a good thing is bad. Maganda ang maidudulot ng pagkain ng gulay pero karamihan sa pilipino ay hindi mahilig sa gulay. Kaya nga may balanced diet db na rich in fruits and vegetables pero may karne pa din at kanin. Kahit anong promote mo ng pagkain ng maraming gulay at kahit gaano kabeneficial yan kung hindi yan masusustain ng taong papayuhan mo. Wala din kwenta. For sure, ikaw d mo din nasusunod sinasabe mo. Wag ako. I don't need to debunk you. Di rin naman sustainable payo so wala din.

    Better consult a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian pag may ganito pong case lalo na pag diabetic. Hindi naman po mawawala ang diabetes pag nag no-sugar no carb diet po at magkakaroon pa po ng complications pag ganito po ang diet na gagawin natin. Ang kailangan po talaga meal plan at nutrition counselling.

Naging obese ako dati nag running and exercise lang ako hanggang sa pumayat kumain ng tama. At Nakatulong din yung isang course ko na Foodtech kasi about sa foods siya more on science about food doon ako nagrerely.

    Misleading talaga. Imbes na NO (which is unrealistic!) Perhaps you should use LESS or LOW. Tsaka Ketoacidosis is a result of a pre existing condition and that condition is diabetes. And eff Sugar!

Hindi basta basta lang ititigil mo yong maintenance ng gamot kapag nagstart na magketo dapat itinuloy lang nya hanggang maging ok na sya sa lowcarb saka nya dadahan dahanin ititigil ang gamot sa diabetes. Hindi yong binigla nya tinanggal ang paggagamot dahil nagstart na sya maglowcarb.
