Had a encounter with these two people coming to my door at 11pm 2 days ago kept knocking knowing I have a dog and he’s pretty loud, after a certain time I do not open my doors for anyone 🙏🏿 stay safe everyone

@@YourMomma-km4xj That is scary. I've never had it happen, but that doesn't mean it won't. I always keep my car and all doors and windows locked. Even thinking someone is outside peering into your house is pretty creepy.
It’s so scary & I know exactly how you feel. Had people try two different times recently to get in. Both times were after midnight, banging on our door, my dog was going crazy.
The dog does seem to scare them.
I think these door cameras need to include an alarm. So when they think they're breaking in at 4 am(or anytime) they get a red light flashing and a super loud noise!!

Last week i had Just bolted my front door lock for the night around 1120 pm for some reason but i was up near the front door and someone rushes up the stairs and tried to open my door Twice! Even though some states have a few more safety rules for guns, I'm pretty sure all 50 states allow people to have and use a gun for protection in your home or car if you or your family members are physically threatened. I don't think any states allow felons to own and use guns, though. Yes, that doesn't stop them in many cases, but what states in the United States do not allow guns to mentally healthy and non-felons? Inform me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the law.
I have two rotties at my residence all the time. They are aloof to strangers, fairly silent and stoic and also highly territorial. Not everyone can accommodate such large dogs that require a lot of space and exercise. Short of having my convenient situation, even a small alert dog is a deterrent. A dog is the best, live alert/protector you could spend your money on.
So many people think their dogs will defend their homes... And when someone DOES break in, those dogs either run & hide, or they follow their new friend around asking for treats and pets... Dogs that are not trained to BE a guard dog usually have no clue what to do if a stranger breaks in...
And you're hilarious if you think a barking dog scares anyone away. Have you not watched any security camera videos? Dogs do nothing to deter thieves...
That's why you trained your dog not to be to friendly to strangers I know it sounds mean but my husband wouldn't allow people to play or pat our dog on the head no treats or nothing from strangers
