I feel like the reason why Hisoka doesn't really care about Killua is that even though Killua has the potential to be incredibly powerful, his personality and motivations doesn't allow him to reach that potential. No matter how hard he trained, Killua would never reach his maximum potential until he found what he truly lived for, first in Gon and later in Alluka. So when Killua removes the needle and finds his purpose in life, he becomes able to grow to reach his maximum potential, and that's why Hisoka has some interest in fighting Killua by the time of the election arc.
@@marquisedreams8812 What I mean is that early on Hisoka's interest in Killua was just a passing interest. @@osazen6558I think it’s just how they think that interest hisoka not the ability to reach there potential. Like he’s more likely to get a no holds barred fight against Gon than killua and that’s what he likes.
@@looming416I agree with you 100% and was coming to say the same thing. Hisoka likes chaos and fighting. Killula has been trained to take on fights that he has a clear advantage in. 🤔 don't remember which specific arm, but they both lost some just before dying. This might be me uncovering a theory deep within the HxH iceberg but Hisoka also lost an arm earlier in his Heavens Arena match against Kastro, and even if Netero asking Meruem whether he thinks he(Netero) cannot pray with one arm doesn't necessarily prove that he has lost an arm before and had to depend on only one, I don't think it's far from the truth to think that after having lived for however long our dear ol' man Netero lived seeking out strong opponents to fight, he has also lost at least one arm before in a battle/event of the past. (🤷🏽♂️ don't look at me, from what I hear most theories are made up of at least one assumption/speculation) On that note, ☠️RIP in advance to the next character to lose an arm from this point forward. @@whatamess8894 we dont know if gon can use adult transformation that ability has some harsh restriction. If I was Gon would take time out like he doing now and rebuild himself.
If we add that potentially Killua is gay.... good thing Hisoka isnt attracted to Gon himself but rather to fighting him or Kill could get jealous lol 😂 😅 jk jk !!
I don't think the zoldycks would target Hisoka. Nobody askes Illumi or Kalluto to join the spider which is his current priority. That's just happens in the realm of a assassin
I think Hisoka earn Killua anger since he kill his favourite butler. If Killua ever find out the switch will turn on since is consider a prodigy in the family. Hisoka also see a lot potential with Killua as well. Would love to see the new improve Killua polishing his skill traveling around world with his sister.
Doesn't matter because hisoka scales above zoldycks. We saw chollo 1v2 the strongest members and he wasn't even trying to kill them. Hisoka scales above chrollo so that means he scales about the entire zoldyck family in an unplanned 1v1
In the Hunter Exam, I think the "potential" rating was on who would be better as a Hunter. Gon at the time was naturally curious, headstrong like an animal, and always wanted to be a Hunter, whereas Killua only took the exam for fun and had zero desire to become a hunter. That's why he ranked low, because his potential as a HUNTER was shallow. It also explains why Pokkle ranked higher, because he actually had ambitions to Hunt than Killua did.
Plus, Killua was not willing to take risks and try to achieve something he wasn't certain he could, like how he quit in the ball game with Netero while Gon achieved what he wanted. He never really challenged himself unlike Gon who kept going against the most difficult of odds and still found a way.
Exactly, it was not their potential that Netero judged. It was, instead, how much they wanted to be a hunter, and Gon scored high, so he was ranked so high. The highest two scorers were Hanzo and Gon because when you take into account combat skills and desire to be a Hunter, they meet the criteria for being in the top 2. However, Killua scored low because although he was very strong and had other great qualities, he lacked determination. He treated the exam as fun and didn't care much about being a Hunter. Killua thinks of himself as having less potential, and that internal monologue is from his perspective, and he is wrong about how the scoring was judged. He thought they judged just based on strength and talent, but what they were looking for was how much you want to be a Hunter, and determination was a massive aspect as you were not allowed to kill and could only win by making the opponent give up.
So Leorio scored the lowest since his masked ambition is money, and his true ambition is having the money to become a doctor that doesn't need to be paid? Since I guwss you don't really need to be a Hunter for that. Being a Hunter alone pretty much gives you a good sum and that's all Leorio cared at the time of the exam@@faruquekhan3353
3:37 Pokkle is the only one outside of the core 4, and Hisoka to be named in the interviews with Netero. Hilariously it's Killua that names him as someone he wanted to avoid fighting.
I thought Hisoka wanted to fight #99 cuz he knew he's Illumi's brother and wanted to piss him off cuz he would rather fight Illumi, he's drawn to strong fighters. And he didnt want to fight him because he's Illumi's brother and didnt want that wrath. Also Killua is just peaking too early. Coming from his clan he was already killing while Gon was just fishing, albeit monster fish, but still just fishing.
@@justinjoseph1719 Im pretty sure if he had not set his eyes on fighting Chrollo Lucilfer first he would have probably gone after Illumi Zoldyck. But Hisoka is a puzzle you don't know when he will decide to just go for it.
For the same reason he won't fight bisky... because he won't get any satisfaction from it, killua doesn't have a lot of pride like Gon, chrollo or netero (hisoka wants to "break" his opponents spiritually more than physically) if killua sees he's gonna lose he'll just run away, if he ends up getting defeated he'll just accept it and d*e. Gon has a lot of pride so he won't accept to run away and he won't accept defeat which is what hisoka wants in an opponent so he sees their Spirit "break" before he ends them.
But some time Gon pride sometime can be irrational it was showcase during the ant arc. Gon darkside show he can be shellfish and unreasonable at time. He hurt Killua feeling saying he wouldn't understand. Killua has some pride too staring understand people he change since bonding with Gon.
I didn't get all of that but yes gon's pride is very irrational, he is so prideful that he loses sense of logic and reason which is exactly the type that hisoka wants to break. Killua isn't prideful at all if his life is in danger he runs away unless it's to save somone he cares about like gon or annika, otherwise he runs away and with his god speed good luck trying to catch him. @@laquanlucas6953
@@laquanlucas6953Of course, I wasn't praising Gon when I said he's prideful it's definitely a bad thing in this situation, and killua too has pride just not when it comes to battles/ life or death situations, he won't care if he loses as long as he and his friends survive (which is a good thing) unlike Gon where everyone and everything won't matter to him in a moment of rage his Ego gets the best of him
Killua was dismissed because hisoka knew he would be avoided because of ilumi's needle, needle is gone, but ilumi is still a threat, so it would be fight ilumi first and kilua second, or that would be the case if his family wasn't around, and the phantom troupe is more than enough to play for now Kurapika is literally not a target because he cannot fight him at his strongest, because he is hyperfocused on killing the troup and hisoka preferred to fight kurolo instead of him and he already made his choice.
I feel like it appears that Hisoka believes Gon possesses greater potential because he takes extra steps to prepare Gon for the future, showing a deeper concern for Gon's well-being compared to Killua. Hisoka perceives that Killua is adequately supported by individuals like Illumi, thus he doesn't prioritize Killua's development as much. Therefore, it's not necessarily that Hisoka sees more potential in Gon; rather, he recognizes that Gon's potential isn't as assuredly safeguarded as Killua's. at least that's how I've always seen it. ofc you can always make the argument that gon has more than killua but it doesn't rely seem that way to me.
I feel like hiskoa could find something on the dark continent that can restore Gon and then maybe train them up. But unfortunately Tagashi sama isn't in the best space for something that drawn out.
I also don’t think Hisoka will make it through the succession war. Even though he is much more powerful now, it seems he’s also much more blood thirsty. And put in a situation with someone like Tserrrideuchd (or however it’s spelled), could result in his downfall. Maybe he’d win, only to get jumped by the Troupe again or some other outside force. I think many of the characters in the story realize how much of a menace to society he is and might even come together to see his existence remedied. However, the same could be said of the troupe so I don’t know. I’m really excited to see the continuation of the story.
I interpreted the "one in ten million" part as in the general population, since everyone has some potential in nen. As far as I know we don't know the population of the world in HxH though.
I would assume that Illumi would probably tell Hisoka about the needle even though that seems counter intuitive and anti assassin training because his 1st goal is to protect Killua and he would know that Hisoka doesn’t have any interest in “broken toys”
I mean it’s not proved either way but the evidence we have says no. The Zoldyck family members that have awakened Nen are one of two affinities, Emitter and Transmutation. This is the only evidence towards him being related to the Zoldycks. Not a bad theory, but also you need to work on some grammar.
Why doesn’t Hisoka lust for Ging? (Who is suppose to be absolutely broken OP) My head cannon is that whenever it’s approached, “big brain” Ging anti’s every attempt Hisoka has made to get a rise out of him.
Seeing how it's Ging, he'd probably just run away from the fight. Like sure, he can probably defeat Hisoka because he's Top 5 nen user in the entire world, but he would see no point in doing so. Hisoka can't even do what he sorta plans to do with Illumi and Killua (and did with Chrollo and the Troupe) by killing Gon and dangling the corpse in front of Ging's face. Ging straight-up would not give a damn.
@@Yonkage-ik5qb idk know if Ging would from the fight or just not interested. But was good thing Ging left while Hisoka was scaling power level of every hunter back in the 13 chairman arc. If they would had fight would had ended in bad checkmate. Before Chrollo and Hisoka fighting in the heaven arena fight to the death. Ging is the greatest hunter Hisoka want too test his ability fighting him.
@@minedantaken1684 Probably, yeah. Really strong, very creative, unpredictable, very proud and confident, likes fighting, never gives up, has the properties of both rubber and gum. All kinds of things Hisoka would enjoy.
my 2 cents: 1. Hisoka wants gon because he is particularly attracted to reinforcement users. Opposites attract. 2. I think Gon got more rounds in the finals not because of his potential, but because he was at a disadvantage in this exam. He had the makings of a hunter but he probably didn't have a single winning matchup (yes, even leorio), so netero gave him more chances for his X factor to show up. ended up that he didn't need it, but to me, that was just netero working out a handicap system to make it fair for everyone.
I like to think that Pariston has been Hunting Hisoka by staying away from his perception. Pariston is Hisoka level Stan-ing for Hisoka. Also, Netero sees less potential in Killua than Gon purely from the want to/don't fight portion of the interview. Plus Hisoka wasn't interested in Killua not because of the needle but because Illumi threatened him not to get too excited when he fought Killua, because Illumi would have lost a precious puppet.
Hisoka is obsessed with Gon’s will- the thing that fuels his nen potential. Hisoka throughout the Hunter Exam, Heavens Arena, York New, and Greed Island has been a front row spectator seeing this Nen prodigy grow up and develop into his ‘perfect’ combatant. I can’t imagine a character throughout the whole series that stands out more than gon in a “I won’t fail because I can’t aghhhhhh” sense. Hisoka is attracted by peoples potential to create the most intriguing Hatsu manifestations, and the stories and traumas that craft such magnificent abilities. You can tell he’s extremely proud of his hatsu from the beginning. He is bungee gum. It’s his prized possession and makes him who he is. I think he understands along this same thought that other people who are as driven as him, could manifest something as amazing as his bungee gum
I think it's mostly the personality of the combatant. Hisoka wants a strong opponent but also a fun one, maybe even unique. Gon is unique in his innocence. Killua is a tactiful and in a very trained sense. Its likely something hisoka probably experinced many times.
Hisoka wants to crush people who are full of potential. Killua was already skilled to start with but not really getting stronger for himself like Gon Meanwhile to flip to take down the spider is hisoka weakening chrolo to break him.
Killua is definitely getting stronger by himself he grew equally as much as gon matter in fact with Godspeed he grew more so both definitely have equal talent and potential
@@kenanOWI see killua improving his god speed duration and also creating some new hastu ability. In his travel with his sister around the world Killua is going home his skill. When Togashi whenever return to resume too the manga.

Thanks so much Liam for putting out this and the OP chapter review out during the day much easier for me to watch lol also I think brunettes are more his type probably 😅
The potential this is because gon is gings son and Netero knew. He also knew that killua as a zoldyck would learn nen and other things like that regardless of when he passed the exam so gave gon more chances.
The joke about his potential being more than killua but that turning out bad for him was funny but honestly the chimera ants used his potential better than he could have
he likes opponents who dont have end goals but calculated individual like chrollo and gon, they are calculated in battle but really, they'll risk it all despite having short live goals, like revenge for killer of their friend or finding ging freecss.
Hisoka and kurapika will kill all of the phantom troupe except maki and kurapika and hisoka will kill each other. Possibly Kuripika post mortom nen chains which allows him to use them on any target.
Killua could logically kill Hisoka if he catches him off guard with his lightning speed. Also, because the entire Zoldyck family would hunt him down, resulting in Hisokas death. Almost every member of the Zoldyck family is possessive over Killua because he's destined to be the head of the family, per his fathers own words.
Killua only has a chance of that after Chimera ants. But yeah, Hisoka likes hard fights and risk of death, but he doesn't have a death wish, the entire Zoldyck family is too much even for him to mess with.
Hisoka is also known for exploiting the flaws of someone hastu ability. Killua would get some clean hits on Hisoka in that God speed transformation. With the new improve Hisoka we don't know how much stronger he gotten since coming back from the dead.
If anything, aside from speed, Killua is the worst match up against Hisoka. If Killua can catch Hisoka off guard he can win, is what you guys think, correct? However it’s the exact opposite. 1) Is Killua strong enough to damage Hisoka? 2) Will Killua’s electric shock work on Hisoka? 3) Who has the advantage? Taking these into consideration, point 1) Killua being strong enough to damage Hisoka is something we are all unsure of. Killua caught Machi and Pakunoda off guard and dealt significant damage but it didn’t kill them or fatally wound them, (maybe Machi since she patched herself up after being pierced in the stomach). Point 2) Killua’s electric shock will most likely not work against Hisoka’s bungee gum since as we all know, has the properties of both *rubber* and gum. Since transmutation is mimicking properties I do not know if it’ll count but since both electricity and bungee gum is transmuted maybe it will? Meaning Killua’s electric shocks will most likely not effect Hisoka if he is protecting himself with bungee gum. Let’s not forget it’s *gum* properties, being sticky is what makes Hisoka’s ability terrifying and tricky, once caught you can’t escape. Finally point 3) Hisoka has the advantage in ability and combat, Killua’s current advantage would be his speed and his claws maybe if they’re able to do damage. The only thing keep Killua in the game is his speed unfortunately. If we’re talking about a 1v1 catching Hisoka off guard is a difficult task especially since Hisoka’s ability got a massive upgrade. Overall Killua has the disadvantage and it would be an amazing fight to see If it ever were to happen. Even tho I say Killua is at a disadvantage there is so little we know about his techniques and the tricks he has up his sleeves so yes it would be an amazing fight to watch.
I watched the 99 version, the plays, and the 2011 as well as read the manga of the ant arc before the 2011 version was released… I thought they said the Nen needle in Killua’s head was placed there precisely when Killua faced Illumi in the final round. That the real Killua was shown before that final round. That’s why he had to distance himself from Netero during the ball game with Gon. He thought he’d try to kill Netero if he kept going. If Killua had the needle, he would have just given up without talking about killing the old man. The needle was said to come when Illumi’s hand was stretched toward Killua.
I think Netero did the rankings for the tournament considering their ability for 1on1 battles, which is his personal passion. He and others could sense that Killua had a mental block (in this case the manipulation needle Illumi had implanted) which prevented him to show courage against strong oponents. That diminishes his "potential" at that stage. Notice Hisoka diid mention fighting Killua to Illumi again in the story during the chairman election arc, when he had already removed the needle.
You left out probably the most conclusive evidence that killua isn't a main play toy. When hisoka wonders who he should help between killua/ alluka or illumi, he later hears that illumi could potentially die right there. This disappoints hisoka to the point that the best option is to kill alluka earning killuas wrath then kill killua and grant himself illumies wrath. This perfectly shows that if gon dies then he can still fight illumi. However if illumo dies then he has to wait for gon to get older and either way shows killua is simply a bonus stepping stone to hisokas perfect outcome
i think the "potential" could be the ability to take risk, From the start Gon always did quite risky and impulsive choices. on the contrary , Killua is very calculated. If Killua was put in position to fight Pitou , He wouldn't throw away everything for a nen contract. I think Hisoka saw this ability to risk everything to face a bigger threat. to access somone
I think it makes sense that Killua's "potential score" was less than Gon's, taking his lineage into consideration. If I were a higher up in the Hunter Association, I'd just assume Killua was using the competions & association as a means to further assassin career.
I wonder if Killua would ever develop a conjurer ability and what it would be. It would be interesting to see like a knife with the ability to take nen from his opponents. Like a nen bleed effect. Something maybe inspired by Knuckle and Shoot. Maybe just as convoluted as them too.
Probably not, since Killua is revealed to have 2 nen affinities, transmuter-enhancer rather than transmuter-conjurer, he would probably lean more towards enhancing his ability (electricity) rather than conjuring a knife. The ability you mentioned is more of a second ability like Pitou where they had a manipulation ability and a healing ability, both being separate. I don’t think Killua would lean towards conjuring a knife when he’s already focusing on transmuting electricity which has major flaws (having to recharge to use & being depleted). Judging from his nen ability, it’s more of a combat type rather than a strategic ability like Chrollo. Killua developing a side ability like that, especially so early on when his nen ability is in its beginning stages is unlikely. Overall Killua leaning towards conjuring an object when he’s a transmuter doesn’t work out. I guess the most used conjuration we can expect from a transmuter might be a nen beast because transmuters from what I see don’t rely on conjuring an object to assist them. The only nen user I know who is involved with conjuration despite being a transmuter is Bisky who conjured cookie (highly believed to be a nen beats). Conjuration and transmutation is similar, so relying on eachother would work out but is not necessary since they’re very similar. The knife ability you said with a bleed effect is a good example of a transmuter-conjurer ability. Conjuring a knife with a bleed effect being transmutation (an ability that causes that bleed effect) would work out, but since Killua has already chosen his ability to be electricity I can’t expect Killua to conjure an object aside from a strong weapon (one that won’t break and is strong to use) or a nen beast companion/support. Idk why I typed all of this but I hope this will help your understanding with all the nen stuff. If you have any questions or a different opinion/point you would like to make feel free to respond back.
there is some set up for a hisoka v killua. hisoka's interest in the hunter exam arc sets it up. we know hisoka is very good at patiently waiting (sometimes years) for someone to be "ready" for him to enjoy fighting. the presence of illumi (needle and otherwise) as well as other distractions like gon/chrollo, etc may have delayed his interest. but it was always there. i am not so sure that gon's potential is higher than killua's since killua (needle or not) has always held himself back (assassin training more a shadowy presence, not wanting to leave gon, weighed down by his inner demons, abusive family, the needle in some aspects - the weight of the yo-yo's is like a physical metaphor for him being weighed down). and then.... hisoka kills gotoh. and killua is kept in the dark about this, a ticking time bomb waiting to be revealed. it may not be hisoka tracking down killua later, but killua tracking down hisoka.... togashi is just good at planting many seeds that can bloom much later in the story when the time is right :)
Hey dude, new to your channel, I have a theory, maybe you've already considered this train of thought perhaps, if I remember it correctly from the last time I watched HxH I theorised that Hisoka was hired by Ging to protect Gon. That the zoldyks were after Ging for some reason and were going to go after Gon. Ging knew Gon would be trying for the hunter exam which is why Hisoka was there the year before but bailed on it. The reason that Kisoka was looking for Ging in the vote for the new chairman is that hiska was looking to claim his reward from ging, what else could Hisoka want but to fight ging? The reason Silva Zoldyk says to killia never betray your friends, may have something to do with Ging and the Zoldyks history ? Anyway thanks for your content, peace ✌️
I think the personality is a great factor in hisoka's ranking, that scene when they fought on haven's arena he mentions gon's expression and determination (nearly having an orgasm) as if he couldn't wait to break him... it goes the same way when we see hisoka's approach to fights, both in the case of the butler and kastro, he likes to destroy peoples hopes of winning in the same "build and destroy" logic that he uses toward gon
Here me out, what if nanika’s healing/ killiua’s “command” , isn’t a no consequence like we’ve been thinking. What if it’s more of a , bias for wishing. What I mean is if someone says kill a random person , the person she healed, or commanded her would be first on the list (though Killua would probably not count because they had that kind of relationship with her). Anyway the point is the implication of it being free , in my opinion is not likely even if , the story says it is. But maybe I’m crazy
To be fair to Pocky or Rocky or whatever the arrow guy's name was, he had the terrible misfortune of running into Pitou in the middle of a hive full of the worst Them! ever (though we did have the good fortune that dropping a nuke on these ants didn't make them grow giant size, the poor devils). Who knows just what he could have been capable of if not for accidentally running into one of the comic's hidden super-bosses way too early. Heck, his multi-colored arrows were a crazy good application of nen considering he also didn't know it before finishing the test and frankly to me seem like they had that all-important "adaptability" aspect that marks the best nen powers. He got cat fancied, sure, but so would Gon or Killua or... well even the magician clown murder man if he'd been in that pile of skulls at that exact moment in time.
In my eyes, the thing holding Killua back was simply a lack of motivation. He joined the hunter exams because he thought it would be interesting, and even later on he didn't have much motivation to keep going other than being friends with Gon and staying independent of his family. This could change now that he is dedicated to protecting his sister though, as keeping her safe would be more than enough motivation to become stronger
It's probably cause his best friend Illumi who's one of the strongest characters in the verse would try to kill him if he harms killua and Illumi did threatened Hisoka one time when he asked if he could touch/grape killua
there is also the fact that, in hisoka's own words, "we're quite compatible you and I", Hisoka loves fighting the strong but there is also an element of uh...preference, he's not only interested in Gon's potential but also his personality, not to mention that both love fighting and the thrill of it (to varying degrees of course), Killua does too to a certain extent but no where near as much as the two, in that sense Hisoka prob knows that fighting Gon would be one hell of a battle and I mean he's right so
It makes more sense hisoka wants to fight killua over kurapika, for the fact his nen abilities aren't super limited like kurapikas are, at least not restricted to the point where killuas nen can only be used on a hand full of people
The thing is, at this point normally you want to give the edge to Killua in fighting basically anyone because of Godspeed. It's tough to imagine an opponent that is either faster or tankier than a Royal Guard that would have an answer to this... but Hisoka totally has an answer. It's the same answer he gives to absolutely everything, but in this case the sticky tangling of Bungee Gum is a natural and quite deadly counter to speed, and having the properties of rubber means it WOULDN'T CONDUCT ELECTRICITY.
When Gon first confronted Hisoka to save Leorio, he was afraid he was gonna die and he was *EXCITED* about it. Then in the exam, he tailed HIsoka and successfully stole his insignia. When Hisoka thought it would take Gon a day to recover from the tranquilizer, Gon immediately stood up surpassing his expectations again. And then he broke illumi's arm. All of this made Hisoka fall in love with him. So it's not like he doesn't wanna fight Killua or Kurapika, it's just that Killua and everyone else are Hisoka's side chicks while Gon is HIM.
KILLUA is like ZERO: He is at the moment BETTER, but he has less POTENTIAL. Gon is like MEGAMAN X: He is at the moment WORST, but he has more POTENTIAL.

Hisoka is running the risk of angering the entire Zoldyck Family, especially if he wants "to do" Killua and we know Illumi's reaction to that
I don't think the zoldycks would target Hisoka.

@abelingaw5070 you mean hisoka? Cuz illumi never cared about gon, and killua was already his play thing.
@@PositiveOnly-dm3rx not exactly cared, interested maybe, but Hisoka after the Hunter exam warned him that Gon is his (whatever he means by that lol).
Bro keeping the fan base alive all by himself ♥️
In the Hunter Exam, I think the "potential" rating was on who would be better as a Hunter.
Gon at the time was naturally curious, headstrong like an animal, and always wanted to be a Hunter, whereas Killua only took the exam for fun and had zero desire to become a hunter. That's why he ranked low, because his potential as a HUNTER was shallow.
It also explains why Pokkle ranked higher, because he actually had ambitions to Hunt than Killua did.
Gon, odd boy, smart but uneducated, unnatural strength, and the will to throw away his life. Perfect hunter😂
Plus, Killua was not willing to take risks and try to achieve something he wasn't certain he could, like how he quit in the ball game with Netero while Gon achieved what he wanted. He never really challenged himself unlike Gon who kept going against the most difficult of odds and still found a way.
@@angrashadow2958I wonder how he would ranked No needle Killua

And he didnt want to fight him because he's Illumi's brother and didnt want that wrath. Also Killua is just peaking too early. I agree @@silentecho92able
@@laquanlucas6953Of course, I wasn't praising Gon when I said he's prideful it's definitely a bad thing in this situation, and killua too has pride just not when it comes to battles/ life or death situations, he won't care if he loses as long as he and his friends survive (which is a good thing) unlike Gon where everyone and everything won't matter to him in a moment of rage his Ego gets the best of him
Killua was dismissed because hisoka knew he would be avoided because of ilumi's needle, needle is gone, but ilumi is still a threat, so it would be fight ilumi first and kilua second, or that would be the case if his family wasn't around, and the phantom troupe is more than enough to play for now
Kurapika is literally not a target because he cannot fight him at his strongest, because he is hyperfocused on killing the troup and hisoka preferred to fight kurolo instead of him and he already made his choice.

I see killua I click

Video Part 2: 04:50 to END.

Why doesn’t Hisoka lust for Ging? (Who is suppose to be absolutely broken OP)
My head cannon is that whenever it’s approached, “big brain” Ging anti’s every attempt Hisoka has made to get a rise out of him.
Seeing how it's Ging, he'd probably just run away from the fight. Like sure, he can probably defeat Hisoka because he's Top 5 nen user in the entire world, but he would see no point in doing so. Illumis needle might have been made because he met hishoka and thought nah my lil bro too cocky to be around this man and live
my 2 cents:
Plus Hisoka wasn't interested in Killua not because of the needle but because Illumi threatened him not to get too excited when he fought Killua, because Illumi would have lost a precious puppet.
another great video milord thank you
Hisoka is obsessed with Gon’s will- the thing that fuels his nen potential.
Battle harlequin is a being of well refined, finely cultivated & exquisite tastes when it comes to his opponents.
Killua was already skilled to start with but not really getting stronger for himself like Gon

I hadn't noticed that in Hisoka's toy box thingy the Gon plushie is accidentally given Ging's beard
Pretty sure Illumi would think up something worse than death. He's obsessed with Killua.
Bro, you are the hero of HxH...
Hisoka's knowledge of the needle in Killua explains his response to Netero pretty well. He'd love to fight Killua ... but not while he is needled.
around @2:15 , I don't think he's saying it's 1:10,000,000 among hunters, but 1:10,000,000 among the entire human population.
Has squarespace produced more hxh content in the last two years than Shueisha?
Great Video!
I may not have one piece chapeters for a month but at least I still have new hxh thanks to you
Genius video idea bro ngl at all

You left out probably the most conclusive evidence that killua isn't a main play toy.
When hisoka wonders who he should help between killua/ alluka or illumi, he later hears that illumi could potentially die right there.
This disappoints hisoka to the point that the best option is to kill alluka earning killuas wrath then kill killua and grant himself illumies wrath.
This perfectly shows that if gon dies then he can still fight illumi. However if illumo dies then he has to wait for gon to get older and either way shows killua is simply a bonus stepping stone to hisokas perfect outcome
just so we are clear though, he can not ASK for the clown to leave town. he has to TELL her to.
cuz Hisoka doesn't want to mess with Illumi and the Zoldyck family
i think the "potential" could be the ability to take risk, From the start Gon always did quite risky and impulsive choices. on the contrary , Killua is very calculated. If Killua was put in position to fight Pitou , He wouldn't throw away everything for a nen contract.
I think Hisoka saw this ability to risk everything to face a bigger threat. to access somone
@Newworldreview aye I caught that two towers reference. Looks like meat is back on the menu boys. Lol
I think it makes sense that Killua's "potential score" was less than Gon's, taking his lineage into consideration. If I were a higher up in the Hunter Association, I'd just assume Killua was using the competions & association as a means to further assassin career.
This video is good but do not forget that bungee gum has properties of both rubber and gum
During the Hunter Exam, I kinda thought Illumi's presence alone would have put Killua out of the question.
there is some set up for a hisoka v killua. hisoka's interest in the hunter exam arc sets it up. we know hisoka is very good at patiently waiting (sometimes years) for someone to be "ready" for him to enjoy fighting. the presence of illumi (needle and otherwise) as well as other distractions like gon/chrollo, etc may have delayed his interest. but it was always there. i am not so sure that gon's potential is higher than killua's since killua (needle or not) has always held himself back (assassin training more a shadowy presence, not wanting to leave gon, weighed down by his inner demons, abusive family, the needle in some aspects - the weight of the yo-yo's is like a physical metaphor for him being weighed down). and then.... hisoka kills gotoh. and killua is kept in the dark about this, a ticking time bomb waiting to be revealed. it may not be hisoka tracking down killua later, but killua tracking down hisoka.... togashi is just good at planting many seeds that can bloom much later in the story when the time is right :)

I honestly thought the bathing line was a lead up to an ad read. To find out its real is so strange.
Its because Killua isn't worthy of knowing that bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum.
Wanna see my bungee gum? 😂😂
It's probably cause his best friend Illumi who's one of the strongest characters in the verse would try to kill him if he harms killua and Illumi did threatened Hisoka one time when he asked if he could touch/grape killua
there is also the fact that, in hisoka's own words, "we're quite compatible you and I", Hisoka loves fighting the strong but there is also an element of uh...preference, he's not only interested in Gon's potential but also his personality, not to mention that both love fighting and the thrill of it (to varying degrees of course), Killua does too to a certain extent but no where near as much as the two, in that sense Hisoka prob knows that fighting Gon would be one hell of a battle and I mean he's right so
Killua puts limits on himself, Gon doesn't, making Gon have more potential.
But now its back to YOU, ME....
Nice man
It makes more sense hisoka wants to fight killua over kurapika, for the fact his nen abilities aren't super limited like kurapikas are, at least not restricted to the point where killuas nen can only be used on a hand full of people
Keep up the great work and videos Liam love the video
1:28 how do you know it was out of 10? I always assumed it was out of 20
The thing is, at this point normally you want to give the edge to Killua in fighting basically anyone because of Godspeed.
