There was a big impression among all of the hunters going into the Chimera Ant palace invasion that it was a suicide mission. None of them actually believed they could defeat their target; the goal was to distract and stall the royal guard long enough for Netero to whisk off Meruem and kill him. It's questionable whether Gon even believed he would beat Pitou, or even COULD. He just wanted to force Pitou to revive Kite somehow, and still hoped this could be done, but his own safety wasn't really that important. Killua never had that illusion.
Mosquito totally had what was coming to her, lets be real here. Given what she was saying beforehand and the whole... dog thing. Gon and Killua seemed to be quite shaken by it.

Killua didn't kill during the hunter exam to guarantee Gons hunter license, he already won it when the Hanzo resign. He did so because he was afraid that Illumi will kill Gon if Killua gets his hunter license. In the 2nd exam maybe Killua didn't want to let Zaphir to win the hunter license if he is not prepared, since this will put his life in danger.

I think in the case of zepile kilua knew he wasn’t ready to become even a probation hunter and knowing how deadly a being a hunter can be he both showed him what he lacked and spared him the consequences of failing in a real scenario
If you ask me killua has never gone overboard, waiting for the killua arc where, after hearing zeno was "defeated" yes im counting failing to kill a target as a defeat at york nu city, a rival family tries to replace them thinking they are starting to weaken, his mother orders killua to introduce himself to their competition as he refuses to listen to his mother she obviously has to call his father who tells him if you cant handle your work load you wont be able to play with your friends then and how he hasn't doubted his son yet and is sure his decision will be quick and without error as usual, theb it cuts to the mother asking why did you order me to ask killua to do that hes a terrible son, where he responds killua has started to forget his training and this is just another test to show i wasn't mistaken letting him leave, and if you want him to stay out terrible son we have to make sure he never goes soft, then obviously one of those scenes where the mother states her love for him and how is the perfect husband
Obviously gon follows killua to work and is just trying to convince killua to stop probably ends up fighting each other,(lols as Gon's is probably defending murderers just to prove killua doesn't have to be one anymore) where it's revealed after killua goes overboard that he doesn't have any option because his parents said we weren't going to be allowed to play anymore if I let these amateurs tarnish his family name and tells gon hell meet him later he has to report of his mission success back home but as soon as I let my grandfather know how all his enemies screamed in the end he'll be back out to play in no time

He didnt go far enough😈
I’m sad for you when he publishes the final
Instead of wishing his mother to die, surely he could have just wished then to teleport to where Gon was like he did with Ilumi
i dont think that would work, just like having to touch Gon. If Nanika doesnt know who gon is she wont be able to tele there
@mz1929 Yeah, you know what, that's pretty fair. Because I don't think she had ever left the estate before that point outside of the whole dark continent thing. But they might not have been aware or whatever at that point
10? you mean 0 because Killua never went far enough.
Nah, he has went too far a few times... You know like thinking he is allowed to risk his life. As Gon has chewed him out for... because that is Gon's thing.
Wheres that moment when killua ripped the balls of that poor convicted fella and showed him his own detached bloody ballsack? now thats going too far .
It was censored in the manga , so manga-only readers wouldn't know.
I think in the case of zepile kilua knew he wasn’t ready to become even a probation hunter and knowing how deadly a being a hunter can be he both showed him what he lacked and spared him the consequences of failing in a real scenario
ISNT HE JUST SO SILLY :3
He got lightning ⚡ by rubbing is wee wee
