Thank you, an excellent summary of the most important points.
You have made a beautiful point clear, and it is one of the things we most encounter in dermatology clinics, which is that the patient wants immediate results.
I remember what one of the doctors said: Neglecting skin care is similar to neglecting taking care of your home’s garden. It takes time and effort to fix what you messed up
    Thank you and keep going

Awesome video! Doctor, why can’t you take spironolactone if you plan on getting pregnant again?

Great question. Spironolactone can cause hormonal imbalances and potential birth defects, making it unsafe for use during pregnancy. I always advise my patients that it's classified as a category C drug, which means it could harm fetal development. If you're planning to conceive in the near future, it's best to explore alternative treatments.

Hello! How long would you recommend using topical minoxidil for if it’s 2% ? I’m currently 4.5 months postpartum, breastfeeding and experiencing extensive shedding.

I would recommend 5 percent Rogaine and to use it 1 to 2 times a day until your shedding resolves and you start to see new hair growth. You could also continue to use it indefinitely even when your hair grows back. Regardless you’ll have to be patient.
