My idea of hell that type of site , it's vlogs like yours that help choose a place , gives a good insight, thanks for the tour and getting on that pitch
Thanks mate it was tight I was just hoping it came across like that on the video sometimes the video can make it seem there is more room then there is. what makes it worse it’s a dead end!!
We had a few days here last year. Whilst we enjoyed the facilities, we had pitch 1, just to the left of the barrier. It was dusty bare earth, under a tree, with large metal drain covers where your awning was supposed to be. Walking people cut the corner across our pitch constantly, even late at night. I managed to get my car on at at angle under the tree. The pitches, as you point out are very steep, luckily we had a motor mover, or we’d have struggled. Because we were next to the barrier, we had to endure the constant noises of traffic revving away once the barrier lifted. Pitch 1, should never be a pitch, full stop. I will add, tops marks to you for your caravan reversing skills, it’s puts mine to shame, even after 30 years! Well done getting onto what must be the most difficult of pitches in the UK 😀
Funny you should say about the pitch you had because off camera me and Claire was talking about them and I turn to her and said it could be worse we could have one of these 😂 agree a lot of these pitch’s shouldn’t be pitch’s and if they wasn’t so greed and maybe take every other pitch away it would be a nice site especially for families with younger children also they should state on the website motor mover recommended
Great video, mate fair play to you for getting your caravan on that pitch we have just got our first caravan and I wouldn’t have wanted to back that on there!🤦🏼♂️ that’s so tight! just subbed

Great reversing that mate, we have just come back from France, stayed at two sites both of them had pitches that were about 160m2, absolutely massive neither of them cost more than £35 a night
The pitch was tight. The only site I've been to where the pitches were as tight was the Haven Perran Sands site at Perranporth in Cornwall. A motor mover is a game changer. Another great and honest video, we really appreciate the tours of the pitches and the hints you give. Very helpful indeed!! I'd recommend you try Southview in Skegness.
Thank you 😁 glad you have found them helpful, we have stayed at south view before but that was in a static caravan what are the tour pitches like? In our last 3 Parkdean sites all the pitch’s have been very small
@CaravanTrails Ours was massive. We had a serviced pitch surrounded by hedges. We had the car parked, awning and more grass for the dog and kid to play
We visited there in 2023 as a stop over the day before the ferry to France from Portsmouth. We have a long 27ft 8ft wide twin axle wit movers, and it was bloody tight. Usually Haven goers, we were less then impressed with this, and indeed other, Parkdeans. The only one we’ve found that was ok is the Skipsea Sands one in Yorkshire.
We was very glad we didn't have a big van like yourself i think they should a least tell you on the website you will need a motormover. We are going do a Haven just to compare 😅
This we a Parkdean site, club sites do you mean like caravan and motorhome club sites? We have stayed on a few CL and yes lot nicer we had 3x the room on our CL pitch then we had on this one!
@@Bessie66I've stayed in about a dozen CL's and never had a bad experience. Just do your research coz I'm sure there must be bad ones (like everything in life 🙄)
Hi Lee and Claire. Wow what a bad thought out site. Your not the consideration but the money is. Well done for getting on that horrible pitch. Bournemouth is very expensive. We had a drink there then went somewhere where they aren't trying to rip you off. That parking was ridiculous, just came back from Sheringham in Norfolk, £8 for 24 hours. Loved the barbecue just the same as me cook way to much, but hey better to much than not enough. Hope you guys did enjoy some of your holiday. Thanks for the heads up with the site one to miss. Thanks guys. Thumbs up thumped 👍 ....Pete and Su....
Hi Pete and su Got to be our worst pitch we have had to get on so far it would really help if they just put on their website motormover recommend Think food and the parking was a joke food you can just eat before you come out but we had to use the car parks as the campsites was a bit to far We have only had the BBQ a little while but it’s excellent and haven’t cooked in the caravan since Claire always saying I cook to much lol Yeah we had a lovely time even at this Parkdean site that’s what caravanning is about sometimes your going find a site you don’t like just have to make the most of it 👍
Its a shame your pitch was small,it sort of puts a downer on it from the start but you live and learn, all down the dorset coast is beautiful,we used to live in Portsmouth and once a month goto the newforest (Setthorns campsite) there are no washing facilities just water, electric hook up ,chemical toilet empty facility.but your right in the forest, its just outside lindhurst.Take a look your not far away from the big towns and the farmers markets are great.we left the uk to come to Ireland and sold our caravan in 2014,but now bought another caravan and making good use of it.Thanks for sharing your experiences it does help other caravaners😊
Yeah it was a shame we didn't let it ruining our stay but would not be going back there again, the way we look at it your not going to love every site you go too and we think its all part of caravanning, thanks for the info on setthorns we will take a look always good to get recommendations. Good to hear your back in the caravan we have only had ours a year and love it thanks for watching 😊
@@CaravanTrails forgot to mention pond farm home made sausages, they are great and good value,to be honest ,on here is a great caravan comunity always willing to help wether your new or experienced, your learn something everyday, its great and thankyou to all
I was like that booking all the big parks to stay on then discovered small little ones with pool and clubhouse that actually take pride in the customer
Great video, plus your reversing was very impressive!!! We haven’t tried to reverse, new to Caravanning but have a motor mover thankfully. We have been to this site in a static and didn’t really like it. Don’t think we would go with the Caravan. We just came back from Hollands wood New forest campsite, which was good, give it a try 👍
Thank you 😁 I was under pressure the wife was watching so had to pull my best reversing out the bag 😂 the camera didn’t really pick up how steep the pitch was but not sure even with a motor mover it would of made it up the steep ramp, yes we can definitely advise given this one a miss 😂 thanks for the new site to try 👍
Caravan and camping club must be 6 metres away from each other for fire safety not good were you are thank you but won’t be going there with my buccaneer cruiser I wouldn’t fit glad I’ve seen it first thank you both great videos though keep them coming Kev.
Exactly what I was thinking kev you be lucky to get 3 meters between you on the grass pitch’s. Our caravan isn’t that big and it was very tight sadly the camera didn’t pick up how steep the pitch was also what makes it difficult they are all dead end rows so you can’t turn around!
Parked in the same place cost us about £17.50 disgusting prices for a few hours. In comparison we parked in Annecy in France for over 12 hours for less than £4😳. Great video and great parking with the carvan
Thank you 😁 everywhere we went we in Dorset the parking was ridiculous, we have been watching lot of people in Europe lately on TH-cam all staying and parking for £5 to £10 🫤
We went to a Park Deans site once felt like we were packed in like a tin of sardines try to avoid them now. Although we had motor movers fitted which are great when trying to get into small spaces.
Yeah think we are going do the same this is our 3rd and all have been the same, motor mover would of helped and will be getting on on our next caravan 👍
Thank you very much glad you enjoyed the video, we loved our time in Dorset but just ran out of time to do things so thank you for your suggestions and we will be back very soon and keep in mind what you have said 👍
We're local, well 8m from Bournemouth, and i promise, if you didn't want the pier and the site entertainment, there are lots nicer beaches, less crowded, and better sites. Thanks for being so honest. Even we didn't realise they were charging for the pier.
Yes I am sure it’s a lovely place and does have some lovely beaches, it was kinda a last minute decision to go as we was only 30mins away so we just picked the main bit on google maps with the pier and next time I think we would look somewhere a bit quieter 😁
You would have thought that if parking was so awkward on your pitch that you would have to park in reception carpark out of the way....if I had to get on there without a motor mover I would have pood myself several times😅 very tight!looks like you had a good time tho ba the cost of everything and good weather....another great vlog.
I hear you Steve yes could of parked in reception it was a fair distance away but didn’t even cross my mind to do that 😂 we did have a lovely time and next year we will do a lot more research to find a nicer campsite thanks for watching 😁
I mean as some kind of policy so nobody's units or cars are ever at risk of damage like the big car across from your 1st pitch. Luckily, you did have a second option, oh by the way, how's the ribs mate?
@@steveholmes4329 we did go to a CL once and you had to park your car in a car park once you had unpacked and it worked well, yeah ribs are getting there mate hopefully in a few more weeks I be back at work and we can get back in the caravan 👍
Hi guys, another great vlog. I always enjoy watching your videos. Looks like you had a great time. Apart from reversing onto your pitch. Great bit of reversing. Wish i was as good as that. I probably wouldn’t of even attempted it and gone somewhere else. I would have lashed that right up😂. Ps, I purchased the cadac carri chef 2 bbq after watching your video on this one. It’s perfect. Keep up the good work on your videos and reviews. Andy from Norfolk. 👍
Hi Andy thank you for your great comment overall we had a lovely time it was disappointing how small and awkward the pitch was one thing I forgot to say in the video was that the road your pitch was on is a dead end road so the only way to turn around is on a pitch or reverse it all the way back. I am glad your enjoying your BBQ we love ours and we haven’t cooked in the caravan since we have had it and saved bit of money on take aways 😂
Just found your channel today, I’m very grateful that you posted about this site, it’s not for us either, sorry you’re being ripped off at every turn 😣
We remember staying at a campsite in Lulworth Cove that I think is now the car park where you parked and had your picnic. Your video brought back memories of that holiday. Wasn’t so busy 37 years ago 😂 We are off to Dorset soon and don’t think we will be visiting Bournemouth or Durdle Door at those prices! Everybody is so greedy nowadays 🙁 Hope you’re slowly recovering Lee, stay safe.
I did see a small campsite at durdle door in the car park didn’t film it though. It was so busy it was kinda scary especially when you was near the edges worried about getting push over the cliff 😂 The car parking fees was a joke to be honest no matter where we went. Thank you slowly getting there hopefully me and Claire can get out in a few weeks for a few nights 🤞
All Parkdean sites are the same. We stayed at the one in Cornwall and the pitch was not big enough for our caravan despite giving them the size when we booked. No where to park your car, the area where your awning was supposed to go was made of clay which when it rained became a mud pit and the toilet block was very tired. Its like Parkdean dont relly want touring caravans and shove them in a forgoton cramped area but charge top dollar for the pitc h. Wouldnt stay at any Parkdean site in our tourer again
Can’t agree with you more, this was our 3rd and the last one was a tiny pitch, that’s what we thought in till we came here! Like you said they seem to use want top money just greedy
Yes, we tolerated the pitch because it was a last minute booking, and only for three days. It was however the most awful pitch we have ever had in 30 years. A mover is a must, I totally agree with you.
A concrete base seems like a great idea until it comes to pegging the rear of an awning down. I ended up using cord from the ladder straps tied to the corner steadies.
We like Poole only 40mins away were we stay Weymouth we go actoss on the chain ferry to sandbanks. We been going our site 15 years plus theres 2 toilets and a shower hit grwat spotless sight all friendly 2 miles out weymourh
Thers also a camping field its so nice we members caravan motor home club but se would not ho 9n there difhts yes yiu know what you getting bi so expensive vans these days well ours is 20 years old we had grom new its got allbin in what we need we only kept membership going in fact its due and i daid ti hubby ste you continuing i think we will everybody so friendly you choose rallies we keep clear chikdten sporta etc. Ee cone that bit yoj fam join any centre werever you live and go tk any off them certainly cheaper
Yes it is expensive which makes it more outrageous that the pitch was how it was, we understand you are paying because it’s a big holiday park and the use of all the facilities but they really need to show some investment in the Tours or just get rid of them altogether
I’d get a motor mover if I was you bud. Makes life so much easier and takes the strain off your clutch. I’ve had one on all the vans I’ve had. Couldn’t cope without one 🤦🏻♂️ Fair play getting it on there tho 👍👍
Definitely agree with you a motor mover is a great bit of kit to have on your caravan the only reason we haven’t is we only planned to keep the caravan for a year or 2 just to see if we like caravanning but our next one will definitely have one 😂
@@CaravanTrails good thinking. We started without a mover but couldn’t get the caravan back on the drive without asking the neighbours for a push so I had to get one. 😂 Bought it off eBay and fitted it myself 👍
Hi Lee & clare as a fellow caravaner and a dorset yolko durdle door is owned by the rip off Lulworth estate check out south lychett manor campsite poole great facilities friendly staff bus stop out side the site which takes you in to poole an back outside catering
Hi Paul this is really helpful as we didn’t even get to go into Poole or do anything around the area so we said we going to come back next year and it would be nice to find a lovely campsite so we will definitely look into this site 👍
@@CaravanTrails just reading down your comments ours is a gem of a sight nothing fir children hur price brilliant we stayed 21 nights under 40quid family owned nothing there but piece and quiet
We had a really small pitch allocated to us at Milestone, the awning ropes went through the hedge onto next doors pitch and the only place to park the car was in front of the caravan We were there for a week This annoyed us because there were many larger pitches, you live and learn
It’s a shame the company are so greedy and have to pack you in like sardines if they took out every other pitch that would give you a decent pitch size people may come back we certainly won’t be returning
We live in Wareham and wouldn't go on that site. we would go to Hunters Moon Wareham, Wareham Forest Wareham, Birchwood, Wareham, or Lytchett Manor. Everything is expensive in Dorset, but the cost of the pier goes towards the maintenance
Oh ok that wasn’t the impression we got thought you paid for the day and that was it but we could be wrong as like I said we got on free with the zip line
We won’t be visiting a Park dean again we were at Skipsea site it is crap toilets were disgraceful never cleaned and whole touring area was so packed we had to use their so called emergency pitch due to someone else on ours but they didn’t go and move them
This is our 3rd one and like yourself we have found the pitch’s to be tiny, toilets old and most of the time dirty seems like they just after as much money as possible I can’t see us trying anymore Parkdean after all the comments we have had on this video seem like they are all the same!
It’s all about taking your time and practice, little movements on the steering wheel as bigger ones your more likely over steer and have to start again, keep practising and your get there 👍
Went to Weymouth earlier this year and like you totally shocked by the car parking charges .its now getting stupid ..they will kill there holiday trade with greed
Sandford is a joke tbf. We like coming here, especially for the kids and the price of it. I was there couple weeks ago and went into the bush on the pitch where its so steep getting off it was bottoming out and I needed to get off the lock n level. (Pitch 69) was not best pleased. In the end I took 2 steady feet off the rear and ended up unhitching car and moving the van off manually as like you have no motor mover. Will never stay on that pitch again now and will opt for pitch 50 across from it which a friend was on and he got off fine with same van as me. Twin axle makes it harder. Other than that we always enjoy it there for how cheap it is tbf.
For kids places like parkdean and haven are great lots for them to do. When the kids was younger we use to go there all the time the best one we have found so far is Vauxhall holiday park great Yarmouth but make sure you go fully serviced or the pitches are small. we wouldn't go back to Sandford but if you no the flat pitches and can get on one of them it wouldn't be as bad just the pitches are so small hope you managed to enjoy you holiday thou 👍
Hi I think all parkdean touring site suffer with lack of care and attention we stayed at sea view in Skegness last year the touring site was is so untidy and the toilets and showers are a disgrace we complained so many times but no change we stayed in a static on there this year and that was no different van was bad went to see if any change on touring site also no change so no what your saying and the bars and restaurants are so over priced
I think you are right this is our 3rd one now and like you said they all seem to be the same small pitch’s old out dated toilets not very clean, we only stayed here as we had the kids with us but I don’t think that will be the case much longer they are getting bit old 😂 if you have any recommendations for Skegness campsite I love to know as we do want to do a weekend up that way.
Hi we can recommend tattershall lakes and country Park near RAF coningsby jets are great there is only a fence between you and the planes not far from east coast Skeggy look it up 👍
We have stayed at the Camping and Caravan Club site in Mablethorpe. Lovely, well kept site. Shower block is oldish but spotless. Nice friendly wardens and you choose your pitch. You can visit that coastline from there.
@@Tugga74 yes I agree it is a fab site stayed couple of times there staff were very helpful Although these club sites are getting over priced for reasons unknown 👍
What I forgot to say in the video that all the rows are dead ends so the only way of turning around is on an empty pitch and you can’t even stop before you enter the row to have a look because you end up blocking all of the road
Honestly, just too commercialised for me, reminds me of VW Camper Weekends, everyone crammed in, pot smoke everywhere, loud music from every direction, rip off prices, and one cold tap and portaloo for 5,000 people... nah, that got old very quickly, and I sold the VW.
Sorry this might sound mean but it not a large caravan I am use to twin axel hobby and two of use manually move it. Onto pitches like that. Come on and the caravan was never going to ground
Mean 😂 don’t worry I am thick skinned! The camera didn’t really pick up how steep the ramp was to get up onto the pitch there was no way I was going be able to push my caravan up that if you and your wife can fair play! We didn’t ground our caravan out but someone with a longer caravan and a lower car might do. Just ask the people next to us with the motorhome they scraped that real good
Good bit of caravan controlling skill, but l do like my caravan mover when things to get a bit tight on these sites. They cram to many pitches into small area, just to make as much money as possible. Great video and review, but not for me.
Thank you yes our next caravan will have a mover for sure lol, it’s a shame these big companies are so greedy if they took out every other pitch then it would of been fine and we would of probably gone back but as it stands we will never go back
The grange leisure park mablethorpe you will love Mablethorpe beach in car 5mins walk 15mins Parking in mablethorpe all day £4.00 Leisure park is really lovely Has aqua park there as well Plenty of room around caravan for awning with or without pods car and barbaque Salty fish and chips with peas you will have to share as so large Order on line as easier than queuing just walk in dont queue say on line order pick up less than 5mins
Ridiculous price, particularly when you get a pitch like that! They are clearly tryingvto getcas many pitches on there as they regardless. I dont know what the facilities are like but that price is more than double what I pay at a great newly refurbished site in N Wales forxa fully services pitch. That is just a rip-off.
Your absolutely right! I said to Claire if they took out every other pitch it wouldn’t have been so bad but big company just all about the money I am afraid, to be honest facilities I.e toilet and washing up area very old and definitely needed updating
Reversing the caravan is the number one Insurance claim year on year my advice would be to purchase a motor mover pull up alongside your pitch unhook and use the motor mover to drive the caravan on this way you avoid all those nasty insurance claims. It amazes me that Caravan is paying absolute fortune and making their Caravans secure Difficult for people to steal and then they go reverse it onto a pitch or into Storage far more likely to damage the van. Sorry you had such problems James
Only reason we haven’t got a motor mover is that it’s our first caravan and we just wanted to get a cheap one to begin with to see if we liked it so only planning on keeping a few years before we upgrade but when we do we we’ll make sure we have a motor mover 👍

Yep youre probably going to hear this a lot, but you’re positioning and reversing skills need some work, not the pitch. Additionally the wardens should be checking the site and preventing people from parking like that to block your pitch like that. I improved my reversing skills a great deal believe it or not by playing a free game called “RV & Boating towing simulator on the ipad. I’m pretty effective now! Good luck!

We have only had the BBQ a little while but it’s excellent and haven’t cooked in the caravan since Claire always saying I cook to much lol
Yeah we had a lovely time even at this Parkdean site that’s what caravanning is about sometimes your going find a site you don’t like just have to make the most of it 👍
Serious reversing skills 👍 those pitches were really cramped 😢 I really enjoy watching site reviews it helps when choosing where to go
Thank you for watching and glad it helps you 😁
Its a shame your pitch was small,it sort of puts a downer on it from the start but you live and learn, all down the dorset coast is beautiful,we used to live in Portsmouth and once a month goto the newforest (Setthorns campsite) there are no washing facilities just water, electric hook up ,chemical toilet empty facility.but your right in the forest, its just outside lindhurst.Take a look your not far away from the big towns and the farmers markets are great.we left the uk to come to Ireland and sold our caravan in 2014,but now bought another caravan and making good use of it.Thanks for sharing your experiences it does help other caravaners😊
Yes I think you are right, if you do your research you can find come really nice campsite
Cor 26 ft long and 8 feet wide I wouldn’t stand a chance thank you both take care Kev.
Good driving, but glad I bought a caravan with a motor mover, makes life so much easier.
Thanks 😁 yes motor mover would make life easier this is just our starter caravan though so next one will have one 👍
Parked in the same place cost us about £17.50 disgusting prices for a few hours. In comparison we parked in Annecy in France for over 12 hours for less than £4😳. Great video and great parking with the carvan
Thank you 😁 everywhere we went we in Dorset the parking was ridiculous, we have been watching lot of people in Europe lately on TH-cam all staying and parking for £5 to £10 🫤
Wow, that is an expensive park per night, and looking at it, I'd be struggling to get the twin axle on that pitch.
Yes it was expensive and what you got for the money was not worth it at all, twin axle don’t think you would of had much of a chance
I don’t think you’d get a twin axle on tbh. We have stayed there, the roadway is very narrow
Excellent vlog, Try Golden cap nr Charmouth highest point in Dorset, Bet you didn't do the tank museum! 10 mins from Durdle Dore.
Thank you very much glad you enjoyed the video, we loved our time in Dorset but just ran out of time to do things so thank you for your suggestions and we will be back very soon and keep in mind what you have said 👍
Love watching your videos down too Earth you two great information
Thank you for your lovely comment 😁
Was ther last year and had to getvon them pitches with twin axle and first time with it very very tight
They are definitely not made for a twin you did well getting one on there
Wow what a terrible pitch to have to get onto. I wonder if you might consider making some reversing a caravan guides as you do it so well!
It wasn’t the best. We are thinking about making a few videos aimed at people that are new to caravanning so a reversing video would be a good idea 👍
Well done you are a good driver to get in there
Thank you 😁
Just found your channel today, I’m very grateful that you posted about this site, it’s not for us either, sorry you’re being ripped off at every turn 😣
Hello 👋 hope you enjoyed the video, don’t be sorry that’s what we are here for to get ripped off so you guys don’t have to 😂
We remember staying at a campsite in Lulworth Cove that I think is now the car park where you parked and had your picnic. Your video brought back memories of that holiday. Wasn’t so busy 37 years ago 😂
We are off to Dorset soon and don’t think we will be visiting Bournemouth or Durdle Door at those prices! Everybody is so greedy nowadays 🙁
Hope you’re slowly recovering Lee, stay safe.
That's Parkdean on my "don't go "list
Hi Guys just subscribed to your channel just watched this Vlog very informative really enjoyed it
Thank you very much glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for getting us to 2k subs 😁
Thanks for this. Never going there!! Not nearly enough room
We would recommend you save your money and not go here, next year we will be finding somewhere a lot nicer in the area 👍
Yes, we tolerated the pitch because it was a last minute booking, and only for three days. It was however the most awful pitch we have ever had in 30 years. A mover is a must, I totally agree with you.
We totally agree, luckily it was only for 3 nights for us as well but we will never return
A concrete base seems like a great idea until it comes to pegging the rear of an awning down. I ended up using cord from the ladder straps tied to the corner steadies.
We did think oh nice flat base but after we had to move it wasn’t so flat after 😂 good idea I need to keep some spare cord 👍
Had the same issue at lady ediths in Scarborough. Tiny pitches car was virtually touching caravan to get it off the road.will never return.
It is a shame you shouldn’t have to go through all of this before you even start your holiday!
That would have been a short holiday for me, 2 days of reversing only to go home the next day.
😂 love this comment 😂
£85 a night to sleep in your own caravan. Insane.
@@Jase73 😂 if that was the case I would do the same, well done for fitting it yourself though that will save you a few ££s 👍
@CaravanTrails will have to have a meet up when your down
@@paulhunt1836 👍 definitely want to come back next year to explore before the summer holidays probably early July
@@CaravanTrails just reading down your comments ours is a gem of a sight nothing fir children hur price brilliant we stayed 21 nights under 40quid family owned nothing there but piece and quiet
Nice reversing.👍 But big sites are not for me, thanks
Thank you 😁 yep I wouldn’t recommend the site at all and well not be going back thanks for watching 👍
We had a really small pitch allocated to us at Milestone, the awning ropes went through the hedge onto next doors pitch and the only place to park the car was in front of the caravan
We were there for a week
This annoyed us because there were many larger pitches, you live and learn
it does seem that all Parkdean have small pitch's this is our 3rd one and the worst
I would never book my tourer on a Parkdean sight. Too expensive and heard too many bad reports about them.
It’s a shame the company are so greedy and have to pack you in like sardines if they took out every other pitch that would give you a decent pitch size people may come back we certainly won’t be returning
love the vids watch when we not in ours only being touring a year and love it🎉
Thank you 😁 we would of been caravanning a year in November and we love it even thou this site I would tell anyone to avoid we still had a good time
We live in Wareham and wouldn't go on that site. we would go to Hunters Moon Wareham, Wareham Forest Wareham, Birchwood, Wareham, or Lytchett Manor. Everything is expensive in Dorset, but the cost of the pier goes towards the maintenance
This is a great help because we do want to come back next year and having some sites recommended is really helpful thank you 👍
Nice driving mate 👌
Thanks 👍
You pay for Bournemouth pier once and can return as many times as you like for the year on the same ticket.
Oh ok that wasn’t the impression we got thought you paid for the day and that was it but we could be wrong as like I said we got on free with the zip line
Like your videos. Thanks
Thanks 😁
Better than me at reversing. I'd have used the motor mover.
Wish I had one 😂 but I believe they should tell you on the website motor mover recommended
That is a ridiculous price for a pitch and there isn't enough room around those pitches. One to avoid for me.
Definitely one to avoid some beautiful CL out there for half the price and 10 times more room. 👍
Wish i could reverse like that ...i find it so stressful
It’s all about taking your time and practice, little movements on the steering wheel as bigger ones your more likely over steer and have to start again, keep practising and your get there 👍
Went to Weymouth earlier this year and like you totally shocked by the car parking charges .its now getting stupid ..they will kill there holiday trade with greed
You are completely right as we went out most days visiting we spent around £70 just on car parks
Forgot to add that it cracked our bathroom window inside and out. It was a quiet drive home to say the least
Oh no! hope its not to expensive to fix 😐
Wh have a double axle elddis caravan, my female partner is the motormover, but then again she is drives class 1 and 2 lorries for a living 😅
😂 same as me then does make life a lot easier
Hi
I think all parkdean touring site suffer with lack of care and attention we stayed at sea view in Skegness last year the touring site was is so untidy and the toilets and showers are a disgrace we complained so many times but no change we stayed in a static on there this year and that was no different van was bad went to see if any change on touring site also no change so no what your saying and the bars and restaurants are so over priced
Hi we can recommend tattershall lakes and country
Park near RAF coningsby jets are great there is only a fence between you and the planes not far from east coast Skeggy look it up 👍
We have stayed at the Camping and Caravan Club site in Mablethorpe. Lovely, well kept site. Shower block is oldish but spotless. Nice friendly wardens and you choose your pitch. You can visit that coastline from there.
@@Tugga74 yes I agree it is a fab site stayed couple of times there staff were very helpful
Although these club sites are getting over priced for reasons unknown 👍
If you had turned round and used the extra corner of concrete on each pitch you could have got on either of those pitches
What I forgot to say in the video that all the rows are dead ends so the only way of turning around is on an empty pitch and you can’t even stop before you enter the row to have a look because you end up blocking all of the road
Did you say 89 per night our friends jyst had a .month on site were we go
Yes it was £260 for 3 nights very disappointed for what you got for your money but you live and learn and we won’t be making that mistake again
Thank you yes our next caravan will have a mover for sure lol, it’s a shame these big companies are so greedy if they took out every other pitch then it would of been fine and we would of probably gone back but as it stands we will never go back
The grange leisure park mablethorpe you will love
Mablethorpe beach in car 5mins walk 15mins
Parking in mablethorpe all day £4.00
Leisure park is really lovely
Has aqua park there as well
Plenty of room around caravan for awning with or without pods car and barbaque
Salty fish and chips with peas you will have to share as so large
Order on line as easier than queuing just walk in dont queue say on line order pick up less than 5mins
Sounds lovely we definitely have a look, £4 parking all day like the sound of that 😂 thank you for sharing
Sorry you had such problems
James
Only reason we haven’t got a motor mover is that it’s our first caravan and we just wanted to get a cheap one to begin with to see if we liked it so only planning on keeping a few years before we upgrade but when we do we we’ll make sure we have a motor mover 👍
Have you ever thought of rallies ee done them.over 40 years wnd day l you want is to get legs down and they cheap you do what you want when you want plenty space most 15pd night it changes we have nebrr used the big sights wven whennour don was small

dude you reversed it wrong
How?
Yep youre probably going to hear this a lot, but you’re positioning and reversing skills need some work, not the pitch. Additionally the wardens should be checking the site and preventing people from parking like that to block your pitch like that. I improved my reversing skills a great deal believe it or not by playing a free game called “RV & Boating towing simulator on the ipad. I’m pretty effective now! Good luck!
