Favourite fight of the series. The way they built up their brotherhood before this fight by hanging out and joking around like besties made this fight a hella lot more emotional and impactful.
amazing show, esp the end where it shows how Gun Woo leveled up. Like the way how the story shows Gun Woo's growth in skills and as a boxer through this monster giant guy
I think he have always been holding back just because of how kind he is. It was only when his friend's life was threatened he unleash his full power. Like at the start where he used only his left hand in the boxing competition because it is already sufficient to win and he don't want to hurt his opponents any more than he should.
@@KeoNzit was probably more physical, he clearly wasnt holding back in the first half, he needed to win the tournament to help his mom and same with when he fought the goons at the cafe. That’s his max effort. He said he didn’t land his right as much because he didn’t see the oppening. For the second half he said he went up two weight classes and it shows them celebrating when he successfully punched out the stack of tires meaning he couldn’t do it before, so his power definitely went up dramatically during their training period. They also trained with each other specifically with who they were going to fight in mind.
@@bigheadrhino yes exactly! At the end of the first episode where he fought with this giant he wasn’t holding back. And before that he fought the goons with both hands. He was surprised that giant’s face can take so many of his right punches. He saw his mom’s life being threatened so we see him unleashed for the first time.
I was thinking that exactly when he started hitting with his right hand. Woo Jin was most definitely shocked when Gun Woo really started throwing his hands.
I love this fight scene so much. You can see and feel gun woo fighting so much differently to how he normally would. There's so much emotion in this fight for him, normally he doesn't really harbour any real anger towards his opponents but instead sees them as obstacles. But this guy who actively hates and wants to hurt. It's brilliant
I love that big right hook that geon woo gives to brim after he sees woo jin in danger and the amount of sheer force her uses in it and emotion of the barrage of punches that follow that great ear drum bursting shot
My all time favorite series on Netflix. Turned these guys into real boxers. The main characters fighting style is so unique. But I love how both their fighting styles balance one another. We need a more!
Just finished the show... Hands down one of the best series I've ever seen... Loved every second of it... This fight has to be my favorite so satisfying to finally see In-Beom get a taste of his own medicine... that right hook to his ear was the highlight of the scene...
Yeah. While I do like that the writers had them stick to boxing, and that this is still a pretty cool fight scene, I’m surprised that neither character thought to go for the legs. Lol. At least practically speaking.
@@Kayoss13212 I think big guy doesn't know how to kick. The environment didn't allow him to do takedowns and even if he attempted to he would've been dropped by the second guy. Each time he successfully clinches it's broken up

Season 2. The boys join bjj/mma gym. Learn to clinch, throw elbows, blast some doubles, play guard, backtake... Damn I’d pay good money to see that. Chefs kiss.
If they do that it will remove the boxing style and it will be just like many other martial arts movies, i would rather add a 3rd protagonist with boxing and mma, that would complete everything
@@alghifary9078exactly, what made this series interesting was the boxing choreography. Adding mma would make it like every other movie/series. Adding another character who trains wrestling or judo would be interesting
Koreans prefer fighting with bare knuckles; if a weapon is shown then most likely someone will die so it is avoided. I speak with conviction that most Korean men get more upset than scared when they see a weapon.
There is very strong gun control in Korea. Even gangster in Korea don't have guns. Because every Korean man is a gun expert. All Korean men have been trained in the military for 18~24months. So the moment a Korean man holds a gun, it becomes an organized real war. Therefore in Korean movies that pursue realism, there are no gun fights, but only fist or knife fights.

Episode 5 I’m enjoying the story, my question is when you already know one of the bad guys is familiar with your building holding your money, why wait so long to move it. It just made no sense to lose so much of it, when the two older men could have been look outs for the three young ones in case they were being followed. But instead the older good guys were casually chatting while the kids was dealing with chaos.
