This show produced arguably the best boxing choreography ever made to date. The individual styles can be observed as well as various tactics and techniques. Head movement. Footwork. Combinations. Angling. Pressure fighting. Range fighting. Use of the jab. Doubling up punches. And what is missing from most Boxing related choreography: Defensive Responsibility(Moving after punches). The only technique I did not see much any of was feinting.
I think feints are used for a very cautious fighter tbh like a counter puncher but they skills solid tho they know how to box I do boxing too but feints wasn’t needed for these types of fight it’s chaotic!
@@daviedawg3318 Feints can and are used for both offensive(Create openings. Draw to one area while exposing another.) and defensive(Force opponent resets. Hesitation.) purposes.
@@daviedawg3318 Against untrained opponents, yes. Against Beom, the one MMA style opponent that stabbed Woo-jin and Myeong-Gil, they should have been used.
I think feinting is really only needed against fighters who are successfully defending your punches, being superior boxers to the guys they are fighting, these guys could pretty much land punches at will so there’s no need for feints. Why would I feint if I can land every punch I throw at you?
@@chitownmo I agree he did trained mma and has secret weapons! Kinda wanna see feints there but still good not like that crook even a good fighter tho he cheating hard

This is hands down one of my favorite kdramas. The fighting choreography, cast, story line and the bromance between the two main characters is all top tier. I would recommend this even to people who haven't watched a kdrama.
@@laraibahmed3090 Just finished it and now I want to watch it again! I’m a huge High & Low fan so when it comes to martial arts and brawls in films I’m very intrigued. I know it’s not open ended but I hope they find a way to create season 2.
This is how movies or shows adaptations for Beat Em' Up games should be This is a perfect example of how Double Dragon would be with a good script and good action scenes
I've never watched a single korean tv show or movie, and stubled upon this video by accident. This is one of the best boxing choreographies I have ever seen. Attention to detail (like their knuckles getting bloody from bare knuckle), their boxing is believable - all around amazing scene. I really gotta start watching korean productions.
Watched the whole thing and it's a 10/10 for me...Loved everything, the duo's dynamic is amazing and their chemistry too...Great story, perfect cast, honestly can't get enough of those two fighting💯🙌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Kdramas are simply outdoing themselves with choreography every show that is released. Weak Hero and Bloodhounds are my favorites in this regard so far.
It’s been a few days since I finished watching this series but I still haven’t moved on and will probably rewatch the last few episodes again. I’ve been watching Korean dramas for over 18 years now (since I was a kid) and can say that this is easily in my top five all-time favourites. It’s just so good. It’s an action drama with lots of heart, which is difficult to pull off. The chemistry of not just the two leads but the entire cast is so palpable. That part at the end when Gun Woo gets emotional and says, “I’ve become a bloodhound,” is so instrumental-the boy literally had no time and opportunity to realise it since the beginning because he had his hands full fighting the evil men and saving the people he loves. The brothers first rely on their fists and strengths but realise they have to be smarter as well-so they train hard and smart and develop techniques as they seek revenge. This show has impeccable direction, cast, fight choreography and story and I was truly satisfied with every episode and left wanting more. Also, Woo Dohwan is such a cutie but also incredibly manly, watching him was such a treat. 😋 Félicitations, Bloodhounds cast and crew.
the fight choreography hand in hand with the filming in this show was absolutely insane!! reminded me so much of the amazing fight choreography in john wick - in both you can clearly see all of the fighter's movements and impacts on his opponent - truly an amazing piece of work and really hoping they come out with a second season so we can enjoy some more top tier fighting/boxing choreography🥊 i wish i could forget everything and watch this show like it was my first time!! so good!!
As A Young Martial Artist Practitioner The Moves and Footwork is amazing and talk about the cameras they prolly made us feel like we’re in the scene! 🎉😮😊😅 0:58 I’m amazed on how they synchronize the camera with the hits it’s so badass
I really love watching Boxing BUT this is actually the first time I saw a movie with an elite boxer fight vs many thugs in a street brawl setup. Like it's an all you can fight with no boxing rules it's just that your only main weapon was your boxing skills.
bro i just watched it the other day thinking "ah its one of these korean series" little did i know this became my favorite series to ever exist on netflix
❤😅yo thats exactly what it reminded me of but I think only first 5 episodes have that sort of quality to it(like daredevil) but the last 3 were kinda eh decent but not as good as what came before.
I avoided watching this since most kdramas I watch turn out to be cringe, but I gave this a go since I’m interested in boxing and the fights in this are just perfection 👌🏽
Alright, the first fight i saw when that dude took out like 8 dudes with his fists was really awesome and brutal. Now, he is getting hit MULTIPLE times by the bat and barely reacts and still has all the power to take down all of them with few punches. Most of these dudes are crawling on the ground after few punches, yet the dude is acting like it has no impact on him. The choreography itself is still 15/10 without any doubt, it looks really dope but man, i wish they were less immortal so the fights could have more gravity. Now i am not sure if i want to watch the show man.
because boxers has much endurance and muscles , i guess. but it will be a problem if gunwoo or woojin not thinking stategies because not any time they bear the beatings
Imagine those two pro boxers were karate or taekwondo masters then I’m highly certain there high kicks will provide them with high advantage! 😃😃😃 1:49. Dam and Woo-Jim would have been unconscious by now! 😮🫢 By the way I’m highly satisfied that those two became best friends in episode two! 😃😃😃 2:01. Really loved the way he combines his aggression and energy at the same time as he strike down that hostile thug! They highly deserved it!
They are stronger then most of the cobra kai’s Cast rn They took Hits from baseball bats and still kept on going Imagine someone in cobra kai having the same as their capabilities They are fucked
Choreography is very good and the punches are nice and clean but if these were truly aluminium bat the fight would not have lasted very long in real life

you recommend it for me? ;]
For me, this scene was iconic. Each punch and dodge was so fluid. It would be interesting to see what a one shot of this scene would look like.
That crowd control is nuts. It's so hard to actually train and practice actual crowd control and it's done so well here
straight facts
The simplicity of the fighting scenes and the coverage of wide boxing maneuvers fluidity make these series great.
binged all 8 episodes into the early am! Loved every second of it! These two killed it!

This is an absolutely amazing drama!!!..😍
American media really needs to take notes on the cinematography of this show
they did, by doing remake of asian movies lol
I love this show! Those two are fucking bad ass! Very loyal to each other

Knowing how to properly punch and take a punch takes you a long way in a fight.
Awesome series! All of the actors and actresses did a great job. Hope there's a season 2. I'm suspicious of Director Hong and Min.
Bloodhounds is Underrated, as I see this Fight Scene, I was excited for the full Series and Seasons what there comes

Almost daredevil do have a some what more controlled fights and more stylish and it clear those fight scenes got more time than this show did.
Woo-jin getting pissed by getting hit with baseball bats then ignoring it, is endurance to the MAX
Goddamn!!!! This is gritty and unconventional! Love it!!!
Every time they were hit on the back I thought, “damn that could have been a killing blow”. I thought the goons were instructed to kill them.
that scream right as they were pinned to a some what corner back to back, gave me chills
This scene , just like every other scene in this amazing k drama was out of this WORLD ❤🎉
This show is a modern day Double Dragon 9/10 🔥
Nah them getting hit with metal bats and still fighting is CRAZY to me😭
They were not even professional n they holded their own against 30 people

Oh dang. I might have to watch this.

They have a boxer’s heart lol
And they're immortals too 😂
Strong Double Dragon vibes.
This show made me crave for a bloodhound game, coop beat em up with sifu like combat but boxing style.
"Go at him all at once" proceeds to stand there doing nothing. These mfs still haven't mastered the art of jumping

Can you win a fight like this if your not a boxer?
Prolly not 😂
good question, but i'm afraid you were put in coma since unknown
Your question should be “if don’t know how to fight?
But probably not
Theres like 30 of them and have weapons longer then your fists
The boxing moves are legit and fluid. But not realistic to face off a group of armed men with only boxing. But interesting idea nonetheless.
If they have more weapons it's more possible
if they use flying kick this movie wwould be better
