The end of that Upgrade fight scene made so much sense. The chip in his brain could calculate every move without any wasted moves or miscalculations. But it couldn't account for the MC emotionally manipulating his opponent.
Daredevil vs Bullseye was so entertaining and greatly choreographed. You can see each one of them has a very specific skillset and they both work to put themselves in an advantageous position to use their skills. But then you laugh because you realize a blind ninja is fighting a dude that's just really good at throwing shit and it's hilarious.
I always thought the Daredevil fight scene was done super well and stands up to repeat watches. Bullseye never even really lands a hit on the first fight and is thoroughly outclassed in hand to hand. Daredevil is definitely slower in the second hand to hand fight after getting hit so much, but is still winning until the very end. I wish more shows/movie fights leaned i to individual character strengths/powers and weaknesses in their fights as opposed to just haymakers and throws.
The part that I loved is how they lean Matt into that boxing stance and style. Daredevil is known to know many different styles of fight, but he falls to his boxing stance mixed with other styles
@@emmanuelporte4201 He had his spine really damaged which was the reason he couldn't use most of his acrobat skills, like he still does some jumps the more the season progresses, but I think they took that decision just so Matt had to do all these fights with pure boxing, just his upper body and his punches, like his father did.
Yeah it really captures the essence of their duality. Daredevil takes a ton of hits out of pure shock - he can't anticipate half of bullseye's tricks. He also can't stealth nearly as easily - he might be able to stick to the shadows normally, but against Bullseye's focus every wiggle, every moving cubicle, every refraction of light he can see. Bullseye never really loses sight of Daredevil which is impressive given that's usually one of his major advantages. Even in a dimly lit room Bullseye is going to notice everything due to his just zen-like focus. Meanwhile up close Bullseye is desperate to find a weapon - he wins the day because Daredevil just can't adapt. He really can't internalize how focused this man is either - Daredevil's always had issues within his own life he was wrestling with. Bullseye, when he's working, is so focused it gave him a huge tactical advantage that turned into a strategic one. Even in the beginning when Daredevil catches the rod, the scene hangs here because truly - Daredevil cannot get a sense of this man. He's sure-footed, he's got no fighting style that Daredevil can relate to and worse - he's fully armored. That wouldn't give Daredevil an advantage because it would limit his speed, but since Bullseye isn't a ninja underneath, it makes it so much harder for Daredevil work off. Worse, Bullseye has a better center of gravity due to the extra weight, so now when he throws he has a bit more stability and lift. ... and Bullseye doesn't give an inch, he doesn't even flaunt his name. He's 100% Daredevil right now, and a nearly perfect reflection of Matt's cockier side. That arrogance more than anything is messing with Daredevil, as it's a reflection of who he can be. Just great stuff, they made this scene just sing.
Honestly, the fight scene in "Upgrade" I think is one of the most well done "Robotic/Calculated" fights ever done in a movie. It really does look like every movement is perfectly calculated with no wasted or miscalculated movements. That scene truly is a masterpiece of a fight scene.
@@billywashere6965 Well it terms of complex fight choreography this fight was much more complex as both actors had to be incredibly precise with all their actions. Both are excellent though.

Not really imo. Swinging only the arms does not make it “precise” or “not wasting movement”. Martial arts are grounded and a proper technique for most strikes require some degree of body movement and rotation. For an example, boxing - most of the force generated in a punch comes from the lower body. The rotation of the heel, hip, torso, shoulders and the hand all contributes to a perfect cross. Also, how in the hell did Bullseye throw a damn computer monitor so accurately?? Either he practiced throwing screens or he's so good that he could adjust for the shape and all the other factors in the moment
That one almost made it in but I switched with his fight with the daughter because it's a little faster paced. The martial arts guy fight is too funny tho!
I love how in The Equalizer movies they gave McCall an almost Sherlock Holmes ability to instantly read and assess any situation and formulate a plan. He knew instantly the guy in the first movie was a hitman because he was disguised as a lineman, but his hands were callus free. Three absolutely kick ass movies in that series, even if they did vary quite a bit from the original TV series.

LMG (Logan Marshall Green) in uprgade is so underrated and unappreciated... To convince someone that hands and feet are controlled by something else and act accordingly HAS gotta be the hardest part in any acting role I've ever seen and fight sequences in it are flawless 10/10
Bro you gotta do a part two for this and put the team fight scene from The Old Guard, honestly one of the best choreographed fights I’ve ever seen. Although there are guns
I love how STEM (Upgrade fight scene) asks nanobots to help Grey headbutt right when STEM calculates that the other will be using breath attack, since STEM cannot control Grey from neck up. And, at the end after exhausting all tactical options, STEM asks Grey for help. Wow. Such detail and justice to the characters.

The Night Comes From Us was absolutely NEXT LEVEL. That was hard to watch at times. But It's still awesome. Winter Soldier is still the BEST Marvel movie to date, alongside Civil War. They're the two best connected films in the whole smorgasbord of super hero flicks that Marvel has produced.
Raids actions scenes were so good. They were next level and a lot of the movies nowadays have so much influence in them from the raid movies and the John wick movies. But personally for me the night comes for us I felt had some good action scenes but at times it was way too over the top and going to extreme for shock value.

Man, I've always appreciated the long takes for the Daredevil fight scenes. They must have really enjoyed that choreography! Also, how in the hell did Bullseye throw a damn computer monitor so accurately?? Either he practiced throwing screens or he's so good that he could adjust for the shape and all the other factors in the moment
As long as he can throw it far enough there's basically nothing he can't throw accurately
@@hundredfireify 😯
@@hundredfireify yeah, we do. Thats why we're discussing his abilities
I think the fight scene in Barry with the martial arts guy should be in this for sure.
ME: (Two minutes into the Daredevil fight) "Who is pretending to be Daredevil?"
(Two seconds after he begins throwing objects)
ME: "BINGO!"
I didnt understand who was the real daredevil and who was bullseye? Please answer
joyal saju daredevil was the one not in the suit and bullseye was disguised as daredevil In the suit to tarnish the image/name of daredevil
@@kendrick7385 thank you for answering brother
@@joyalsaju8878 He already answered the question tho... who is pretending.?" begins throwing objects"
That Daredevil fight scene showed off their respective abilities so well.
Daredevil is THE BEST show I've ever seen.
Upgrade was such a suprising movie, came in with no expectation and came out enjoying the hell out of it.
Holy Crap the guy holding the gun in clip 2 Upgrade sure could pass for Tom Hardy.
His name is Logan Marshall-Green and he’s an amazing actor
Ewan McGregor I didn't say he wasn't. Just commenting on how much he looks like Tom Hardy.
Donny Williamson I was just letting you know who he was as he’s a great actor and deserves the credit
Ewan McGregor he gets the credit of being a Tom Hardy doppelganger. Studio can we get Tom Hardy to do this movie. Agent no he is busy but we do have Logan Marshall Green.
I thought it was him too
Forgot how good upgrade was! Gonna need to check that out again. 👌
I actually liked The Equalizer 2 better than the first.
Nah you buggin' lol
Naa
No way!!!@
Daredevil had the best fight scenes hands down. The continuous shot fights really give credit to the talent of these actors and stuntmen.
Ah, 'Daredevil' is on this list.
SOLD. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yo omg that Denzel car scene was fucking COLDDDDDDDD!!!! I never saw that bruh. Like DAMN!
The fact that there was not a single John Wick scene in this is kinda of a let down but still pretty cool scenes
i think reason why he didnt included john wick cuz iys already popular and most of films this video are indies
Daredevil fights is amazing because there is not a lot movement with the camera. So you don't get confuse like in another movies 😂😂
Fighting Bullseye when he's throwing stuff at you is like trying to avoid your wife! 🤣👏🏼
I love the Equalizer 2 fight scene, I just wish the front of the car actually looked damaged after hitting 3 cars
I've loved "And now you see me" since I first saw it.
And that "fight" scene was so wonderfully cartoony!
LMG (Logan Marshall Green) in uprgade is so underrated and unappreciated... To convince someone that hands and feet are controlled by something else and act accordingly HAS gotta be the hardest part in any acting role I've ever seen and fight sequences in it are flawless 10/10
That card to the face of the guy in the sink was just savage lol
Upgrade is SUCH an underrated movie. One of the best sci-fi thrillers in recent memory.
The fight scenes in all three seasons of daredevil were incredible
Daredevil = Goated
Thx for showing love to my favorite TV show
Bro you gotta do a part two for this and put the team fight scene from The Old Guard, honestly one of the best choreographed fights I’ve ever seen. Although there are guns
I'll check it out!
I second the old guard scene, and you need to add the knife fight from the Man from Nowhere
@@Benjy1 or inception hallway fight
@benjy also look at the looper versus Samuel L Jackson fights.
Bro the hole movie was trash. And the fighting was traumatic my eyes hurt nothing looked real. You clearly know nothing about fighting god.
Daredavil and Upgrade sure are great but the sleight of hand and the mimicking in Now You See Me was definitely one of my favorites. So rewatchable
I learned to throw cards like that as a kid. Imagine seeing it done in movies like this good one.
Ok that car scene from The Equalizer 2 was so cleann
Upgrade was such a dope ass movie broh that camera editing was genius, such an underrated sci fi gem
The "Now You See Me" fight was some of the best fight scenes I've seen in a movie.
The first one was so gooood! Thank you!!
No thank you!
That fight scene in iRobot really slapped!
The matrix has one of the best hand to hand fights of all time
Can't have a creative fight scene without starting off with the main man the Equalizer
Man, that upgrade fight is, and probably always will be, one of my favorites now. Lol, atleast until something else comes about.
Great work man!!
Normally I hate cuts in a fight scene but they used it so brilliantly in that upgrade scene. I think I’ll watch the movie.
You peep the reverse emotional trump card played in upgrade mans basically gets called emotional but then brings out the emotion out of him straight up amazing
Nice catch
@@Benjy1 yee
seeing u put daredevil in here made me so happy thank u
Whoever cancelled daredevil should be in prison
Even though the fight in Now You See Me is fun, in the context of the movie Dave Franco’s character goes from just some random lock picking, pick pocket dude to this magic savant doing pitch perfect vocal impressions and taking out FBI dudes with playing cards and flash paper.
It's clear they're gods lmao
The Raid series, the night comes for us, marvel capt. america: winter soldier
But personally for me the night comes for us I felt had some good action scenes but at times it was way too over the top and going to extreme for shock value.
upgrade is so good, the way he moves like a puppet, unnatural movements, fluid and sharp
Anyone else who still can't sleep 😴
Phew for a second there it looked like that guy dressed in black was gonna beat up daredevil. Glad he pulled through in the end!
Those Daredevil fight scenes throughout the entire series were unmatched
All the hand2hand combat scenes in "Upgrade" are awesome! :)
Upgrade was a good movie nice video bro
This is hands down, the best yt video i've ever seen. Well done sir/ma'am
Thank you for doing my request
From
Upgrade is such a under rated movie!
Clean and original compilation, definitely hope for a part 2!
Thank you good sir!
Wow! I gotta watch Upgrade! That scene is incredibly shot!
So I ended up watching Upgrade after I stumbled across this video what an incredible gem of an indie sci fi film.
I am today years old finding out this page is AWESOME AF!!!
